XLL은 웹 상에서 문서의 표준화와 데이터베이스로서의 역할을 잘 감당한다. 이러한 이점 때문에 XML 관련 표준안들이 늘어나고 개발되고 있는 추세이다. XML 관련 표준안으로는 XSL, 스키마, 네임스페이스, XLL 등이 있다. 이 중 XLL은 현재 IE(Internet Explorer) 5.5에서도 제대로 지원되지 않아 XLL을 구현하기 위한 연구들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. XLL을 지원하는 브라우저, 프로그램, 컴포넌트들이 개발되었는데 이것들은 모두 해당 프로그램을 다운받거나 설치해야한다는 단점이 있고 특정 프로그램을 사용해야 하는 부담이 따른다. 본 논문은 웹 상에서 아무런 프로그램이 없이 XML 문서의 URL을 등록하면 그 문서에 있는 XLL을 DB를 이용하여 저장하고, ASP 및 DOM을 이용하여 DB에 저장된 XLL과 원래 문서에 포함된 XLL을 웹 상에서 바로 보여질 수 있도록 구현한다. XML 문서가 HTML을 넘어서 대중화가 되었을 때 웹 로봇이 XLL 등록하는 역할을 하도록 한다면 XML을 기반으로 하는 검색사이트로서의 역할을 감당할 수 있다.

National Knowledge and Information Resources of KADO(Korea Agency for Digital Opportunity and Promotion) were distributed to the several data centers. The metadata for the resources was the conceptual level recommended standard. It was not for the integration, but the retrieval. So it is not easy to integrate to the central metadata DB or connect metadata among the data centers. In this paper, we analysed the metadata of the several data centers and provided the integrated standard model for the central metadata DB.

This paper presents about the activities of speech database standardization in ETRI. Recently, with the support of government, ETRI and SiTEC have been gathering the large speech corpus for the domestic speech related companies. First, due to the lack of sharing the knowledge of speech database specification, the distributed speech database has a different format. Hence it seems to be needed to have the same format as soon as possible. ETRI and SiTEC are trying to find the better representation format of speech database. Second, we introduce a new description method of the annotation information of speech database. As one of the structured description method, XML based description will be applied to represent the metadata of the speech database. It will be continuously revised through the speech technology standard forum during this year.

우리나라의 지반조사 전문업체는 200여 개에 이르며 연간 시추연장은 약 500 km에 달하고 있다(구호본, 1995). 한국 도로공사의 경우만 하더라도 연간 약 500공의 시추조사가 이루어지고 있다(장병욱 외, 1997). 이에 따라 국내 시추시장의 규모는 연간 약 500억원에 이르는 것으로 알려져 있다(구호본, 1995). 그러나 이러한 막대한 양의 지반정보들은 불행히도 해당 사업에서 사용되고 나면 재활용되지 못하고 공사 완료와 함께 사장되고 만다. 이에 따라 값진 수많은 지반 정보들이 재활용되지 못함으로서 잠재 가치의 손실을 초래할 뿐더러 자료의 표준화가 이루어져 있지 않기 때문에 업체간 또는 기관간 자료 공유는 더더욱 기대하기 어렵다. 최근 유비쿼터스(ubiquitous), 네비게이션(navigation), 위치기반서비스(Location Based Service) 등의 발전으로 공간정보에 대한 욕구가 증가하고, 나아가 사용자의 환경에 구애받지 않고 공간정보를 제공하는 서비스가 발전하고 있다. 그러나 현재 우리나라는 표준화된 식별자가 없이 정부 부처별 또는 지방자치단체로 공간정보 특히, 그 필요성이 높은 건축물을 DB로 구축 관리하고 있어, 이들 시스템의 고유번호를 건축물 유일식별자로 활용하는데 한계가 있다. 또한 여러 지형지물 식별차도 개별 업무 및 DB관리를 위하여 부여된 측면이 있어 건축물 유일식별자로는 적당치 않았다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국가 차원의 건축물 유일식별자의 필요성을 제기하고, 이들 유일식자 관리시스템을 난립한 건축물 고유번호를 상호적으로 변환하는 시스템으로 활용할 것을 제안한다.

IETF Path Computation Element(PCE) 그룹에서는 데이터 전송을 위한 전달 경로를 찾는 엔진 기능을 중심으로 표준화를 진행하고 있다. 망의 상태, 위상, 자원 가용성, 정책을 기반으로 최적의 자원을 할당하는 경로 계산 기능과 구조, 프로토콜 등을 정의하는데 MPLS/GMPLS 망의 제어 평면 프로토콜 기반 전송을 위주로 출발하여 광, 회선 망에서의 적용과 서비스 표준이 실제 사례를 뒷받침하여 발전되었고 현재는 데이터 센터 네트워크, SDN, IoT 분야에서의 활용이 활발하게 논의되고 있다. 본고에서는 경로 계산 기능의 분산을 주요 목적으로 하여 이제는 범용의 전달망 관리 분야로 확대 적용되는 추세의 active stateful PCE와 Traffic Engineering Database (TED), Label Switched Path DB(LSP-DB), PCE Protocol(PCEP) 등을 포함한 관련 표준 현황을 살펴보고 향후 통합 전달망 제어 관리 진화 방향을 소개하고자 한다.

When the system is larger then the past we need estimation for the customer and continuous maintenance for that. For example like kind of EMS which is the system manage huge information we wants to add and change the extra module. In this operation the first interesting is compatible with the existing system. This is connected with reliance. If you wanted to modify the system under non-standardization we have to pay much money and human resource. Thus in this paper we will mention that the improvement of system structure and necessity of adaption for standardization.

과학기술 논문의 수준을 평가하고, 국내 학술지 및 기관간의 연구능력 비교 분석의 척도로 사용하기 위한 KSCI(Korean Science Citation Index : 한국과학기술인용색인) 구축 및 활성화를 위하여 XML을 기반으로 하는 모델을 설계하였다. KSCI 데이터베이스는 인용만 논문과 인용된 논문들 사이의 관계를 정의하고 논문을 작성한 저자들에 대한 인력DB의 구축과 연계를 통하여 구성되어진다. 이러한 과정에서 발생되어지는 표준화 과정과 데이터베이스간의 연계를 효율적으로 주진하고 효율적인 KSCI 데이터베이스를 구축하기 위한 XML 표준을 설계하였다. 첫째, 데이터베이스틀의 연계를 위한 모델을 설계, 둘째, 인용된 논문과 인용한 논문에서의 서지정보. 저널정보, 참고문헌정보에 대한 XML DTD를 정의 셋째, 저자와 공저자들에 대한 인력DB 구축을 위한 XML DTD를 정의하였다. 본 논문은 KSCI데이터베이스 구축을 통해서 데이터에 대한 상호 교환, 공동 활용을 보다 효율적으로 수행하고 안정적인 체제 구축을 고려하여 모델을 설계하였다.

This study introduces newly implemented geological well logs database for Jeju public water wells, built for a research project focusing on integrated hydrogeology database of Jeju Island. A detailed analysis of the existing 1,200 Jeju Island geological logs for the public wells developed since 1970 revealed six major indications to be improved for their use in Jeju geological logs DB construction: (1) lack of uniformity in rock name classification, (2) poor definitions of pyroclastic deposits and sand and gravel layers, (3) lack of well borehole aquifer information, (4) lack of information on well screen installation in many water wells, (5) differences by person in geological logging descriptions. A new Jeju geological logs DB enabling standardized input and output formats has been implemented to overcome the above indications by reestablishing the names of Jeju volcanic and sedimentary rocks and utilizing a commercial, database-based input structured, geological log program. The newly designed database structure in geological log program enables users to store a large number of geology, well drilling, and test data at the standardized DB input structure. Also, well borehole groundwater and aquifer test data can be easily added without modifying the existing database structure. Thus, the newly implemented geological logs DB could be a standardized DB for a large number of Jeju existing public wells and new wells to be developed in the future at Jeju Island. Also, the new geological logs DB will be a basis for ongoing project 'Developing GIS-based integrated interpretation system for Jeju Island hydrogeology'.

모바일 비주얼 검색(MVS: Mobile Visual Search) 기술은 스마트폰 환경에서 질의 영상의 특징을 검출하고 그 주변 영역의 정보를 이용하여 추출한 서술자를 미리 구축된 영상정보 DB와 비교하여 검색하는 기술로 스마트폰의 보급과 네트워크 환경발달에 따라 응용서비스의 범위와 가능성이 확대되고 있다. 본 동향에서는 기존의 텍스트, 음성, QR코드 등의 검색을 넘어 인간이 보는 그대로를 검색하고자 하는 모바일 비주얼 검색의 기술 및 표준화 동향을 분석하고 향후 전망에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.
