음성 인식 시스템의 개발을 위해서는 음성 데이터베이스 구축이 중요한 과제의 하나로써, 많은 시간과 노력이 요구된다. 본 논문은 ARS 주식거래 시스템에서 사용되는 주식의 매수, 매도, 증시 현황에 관련된 문장과 숫자음에 대하여 DB 구축한다. 이 DB 구축을 위하여 Dialogic 사의 D/41ESC보드를 장착하고, Window NT4.0 플렛폼에서 음성을 수집하였다. 본 논문에서는 음성 수집을 위해 전국의 20대에서 50대까지의 남녀에 대해 1명당 50개의 문장 또는 숫자음에 대하여, 유선 및 무선을 통하여 데이터를 수집하였다. 또한 화자 독립 음성 인식을 위하여 1200명의 화자로 구성되어 있다. 지역별로 보면, 서울 및 경기, 강원 지역과 영호남, 충청 지역으로 나누었으며, 일반폰, 휴대폰, 공중전화의 환경에서, 그리고 실내와 실외환경에서 각각 수집하였다.

한국데이터베이스진흥센터는‘지식정보자원관리사업’을 통해 구축된 지식정보 DB의 품질을 점검해 보기 위해, 매월 1종의 DB를 선정해 품질을 평가하고, 그 결과를 2005년도‘DB 서비스 평가’기획 시리즈로 연재한다. 특히 이번 기획 평가는 사용자 관점에서 DB품질을 조명해 보는 만큼, 지식정보 DB의 활용도 극대화를 위한 실천적 대안 마련에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

최근 인터넷과 정보통신기술의 발달로 정보검색시스템과 DB의 구축 및 정보서비스가 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 인터넷의 등장과 함께 DB 검색은 도서관이나 정보센터는 물론 일반 국민들에게도 생활화되어 가고 있다. 따라서 늘어나는 DB 중 검색목적이나 필요에 적합한 DB를 선정하여 효율적으로 이용하는 일이 점점 더 중요해지고 있다. 이와 같이 적합한 DB를 선정하여 효율적으로 이용하는 일에는 정보검색시스템이나 DB에 대한 올바른 평가가 전제되어야만 가능한 일이다. (중략)

Road facility has the high possibility of being damaged or destroyed due to continuous pass of the vehicles, overloaded vehicles, traffic accidents and so on and stormwater manhole, sewerage manhole that are installed on the road may cause the functional degradation in case of periodic pavement of the road. So management through establishing DB of road facility and efficient updating plan are required. Thus, this study used DGPS camera for efficient establishment and improvement of road facility DB. Applicability of DGPS camera could be suggested by satisfying the allowable accuracy required for establishing DB of road facility through the comparative analysis with the result of establishment of existing road facility DB and the process of DB establishment by existing total solution could be improved through process analysis. And the existing DB of road facility was improved so that the present conditions of surrounding topography and road facility can be grasped by developing the module that can add the images of road facility to digital map and Google Earth-based KML Builder. It is expected that road facility service that provides various information can be available if the spatial data of each local self-governing body and study of automation that utilizes DGPS camera images are accomplished hereafter.

Library catalogs are as a tool in order to satisfy the information needs of user but currently user's need is more complex and more diverse. Therefore, currently library catalogs do not meet the user's need and have some limitations. One of the ways for solving this problem will provide for the table of contents about monography. However recently, table of contents about books is builded individual library itself so the redundancy issue is pointed to waste of the cost of materials and human resources. Therefore, it should establish a standardized table of contents information DB and each of the related institutions can collaborate and share ways to be provided to take advantage of the table of contents. In order to this, central institutions should be provided a standardized way of building DB, provided conversion program, and mutual sharing principles associated with the building of table of contents DB.

For improving social safety, It is important to build Web DB of criminal prevention and open to the public. It could be help to mitigate social damage of crimes and accidents. In this study, the main goal is to analyze and apply the applicable contents from user demands studies and case studies for a domestic life safety Web DB. For this study 31 cases of international life safety Web DB were collected and analyzed. Customer participation style of Web service was reviewed. And demand survey for crime weakness group like students, and young women was examined. As a results people needed to know the un-safety area in their usual life and their ways; school to home, work to home. While creating the Web DB for domestic life safety, user content according to different economic status and publicity for Web DB proved to be important factors.

Looking at the changes in the earthquake of 33 years of South Korea, earthquake in the magnitude of 3.0 or stronger have been conducted about nine times a year on average, and the epicenter of the earthquake is moving towards the inland from the coast. As the possibility of earthquakes increase, it is time to require utilization of underground space integrated information for earthquake disaster prevention. But, now the data related to the characterization of the ground and geology in the areas weak against earthquakes is insufficient, so we need to collect new geology and the ground survey data on nationwide scale and have to establish earthquake disaster prevention plans through the joint use of the existing underground space information. In this study, we determined the scope of construction of underground space DB information that is needed for earthquake disaster prevention, presented the construction plan of DB static and dynamic information of underground space. It also suggested the utilization of underground space scheme information for built earthquake disaster prevention. The underground space information for earthquake disaster prevention that was built through determining the scope and constructing, planning the utilization of underground space information is supposed to used as DB of the integrated management system of underground space and steep slopes information for steep slopes and earthquake prevention by Emergency Management Agency.

GIS was introduced to spatial information of complex and various facility systematically and scientifically. And, recently, new trend has been spread by Mobile GIS owing to its fast development of information and communication technology. However, these Mobile GIS techniques were introduced in maintenances of various facilities. Due to its mismanagement, the use became insufficient in facilities causing database creation to require realism and mobility. Therefore, in this research to road facility of various facilities, it deduced improving the work process by using a Mobile GIS to analyze work process of the road facility database creation. And, through an experiment, by comparing and analyzing road facilities database creation process by existing method and improving method, could improvement of road facility database creation using a Mobile GIS.

본 연구에서는 국내 원자력발전소에서 발생하는 사용후연료의 저장, 이송, 연소 이력을 국가 차원에서 종합관리하기 위한 DB 시스템을 구축하기 위한 DB 기본설계 작업을 수행하였다. DB 기본설계를 위하여 사용후연료 관련 해외 DB 현황조사 및 저장이력 관련 pilot DB 시스템 설계 작업을 수행하였다. 향후 사용후연료 저장이력 뿐 아니라 이송, 설계/제작, 연소이력 등을 포함한 자료수집 및 가공, DB 시스템 및 입력화면 설계 작업을 수행하여 인터넷으로 사용후연료 관리상태를 확인할 수 있는 종합 DB 시스템을 구축할 예정이다.
