Looking at the changes in the earthquake of 33 years of South Korea, earthquake in the magnitude of 3.0 or stronger have been conducted about nine times a year on average, and the epicenter of the earthquake is moving towards the inland from the coast. As the possibility of earthquakes increase, it is time to require utilization of underground space integrated information for earthquake disaster prevention. But, now the data related to the characterization of the ground and geology in the areas weak against earthquakes is insufficient, so we need to collect new geology and the ground survey data on nationwide scale and have to establish earthquake disaster prevention plans through the joint use of the existing underground space information. In this study, we determined the scope of construction of underground space DB information that is needed for earthquake disaster prevention, presented the construction plan of DB static and dynamic information of underground space. It also suggested the utilization of underground space scheme information for built earthquake disaster prevention. The underground space information for earthquake disaster prevention that was built through determining the scope and constructing, planning the utilization of underground space information is supposed to used as DB of the integrated management system of underground space and steep slopes information for steep slopes and earthquake prevention by Emergency Management Agency.

"지난 9월 22일에서 25일까지 KOEX에서 개최된 '제1회 서울국제데이터베이스 전시회'는 국내에서 처음 개최된 데이터베이스관련 국제전시회였다는 점에서도 여러가지 의미가 있는 행사였다. 그중에서도 행사기간중인 9월 24일 같은 장소에서 열린 '서울 국제데이터베이스 세미나'는 그간 매년 여러번에 걸쳐 준비되어온 'DB산업 육성을 위한 세미나'를 총정리하면서 고도정보화와 국제화를 맞이하는 국내 DB산업이 안고있는 문제점을 정책 및 공공적인 측면, 이용마인드 확산이라는 홍보 혹은 마케팅적인 측면, 개발과 유통의 표준화라는 기술적인 측면, 해외정보 이용과 기술이전이라는 측면 등에서 다각적으로 점검해 보는 귀중한 기회였다. 세미나에서 발표된 4편의 논문을 분야별로 살펴보면, DB산업의 현좌표에 대해서 최동휘 상무(한국PC통신)가 '국내외 DB산업현황'을, 해외정보이용 마인드 고취와 기술이전에 대해 Jeen Videau 부사장(KSD)이 'DB를 활용한 기술이전 방안'을 DB이용마인드 확산을 위한 마케팅 방법에 대해 우동진 실장(한국전자통신연구소)이 '이용자측면에서 본 DB문제점과 해결방안'을, 마지막으로 DB의 표준화에 대해 오해석 교수(숭실대)가 'DB구축과 유통 표준화'를 발표하는 등 각 분야에서 골고루 핵심적인 논문이 제시되었고 아울러 200여명의 참석자들이 이에 대한 열띤 토론을 벌였다. 이에 'DB월드'에서는 세미나에서 발표된 논문들을 지난호(DB구축과 유통표준화)에 이어 차례로 게재합니다.

본 연구에서는 광역적 피해조사를 위해 고해상도 항공사진 및 위성영상을 이용한 피해정보추출시스템을 개발하였다. 연구 대상지역은 2006년 집중호우로 큰 피해를 입은 강원도 인제지역을 선정하였으며, 해당지역 중 특히 피해가 집중된 덕산리, 덕적리 지역 약 $50km^2$에 대해서 피해 전 후 영상을 확보하고 1:5.000 수치지형도, 연속지적도 등 제반 GIS DB를 구축하였다. 피해정보추출시스템은 ArcObject 컴포넌트를 이용한 VB.NET 2005 언어를 이용해서 개발되었다. 시스템의 좌, 우 영상프레임에 피해 전, 후 영상을 비교하여 피해지역을 선정하며, 선정된 피해지역은 구축된 제반 GIS DB와 중첩기능을 통해 피해항목들을 추출할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 공공시설물의 경우 영상을 통해 판별된 피해 항목들을 피해단위에 맞추어 길이 및 면적을 산출 할 수 있도록 하였다. 피해정보추출 시스템은 고해상도 공간영상을 이용한 광역적 피해조사를 위하여 개발되었으며, 효율적인 활용을 위해서는 전국단위의 고해상도 영상 DB구축이 우선시 되어야 한다. 또한 현재 소방방재청에서 구축하고 있는 NDMS(National Disaster Management System)에 영상 DB 및 통합 영상관리시스템도 함께 구축하여 활용할 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야 한다.

This study presents the linkage method combining the existing Port Management Information System (PORT-MIS) DB with the scattered vessel activity data sets including the hotelling and maneuvering characteristics and specification information of the vessels arriving and departing from the port of Busan from January 2009 to June 2010. By linking the data sets, this study made three types of vessel activity databases: L-PORT-MIS DB with low-level vessel activities, M-PORT-MIS DB with medium-level vessel activities such as hotelling time, H-PORT-MIS DB with high-level vessel activities such as hotelling time, engine power, etc. The greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions estimation results show that total GHG emissions decreases when the detailed vessel activities are employed. This decrease in the total GHG emissions by the level of vessel activities implies that the GHG emissions from the low and medium level vessel activities are overestimated due to the aggregated hotelling/maneuvering times and speeds resulting from the past vessel specifications. Therefore, the GHG emissions using the H-PORT-MIS DB are more reliable GHG emission estimates in that the vessel specifications and the observed hotelling time of each vessel are employed in the estimation process. Hence, the high-level vessel activity dataset should be constructed to implement more suitable countermeasures for reducing the GHG emissions in the port of Busan.

본 연구에서는 국내 원자력발전소에서 발생하는 사용후연료의 저장, 이송, 연소 이력을 국가 차원에서 종합관리하기 위한 DB 시스템을 구축하기 위한 DB 기본설계 작업을 수행하였다. DB 기본설계를 위하여 사용후연료 관련 해외 DB 현황조사 및 저장이력 관련 pilot DB 시스템 설계 작업을 수행하였다. 향후 사용후연료 저장이력 뿐 아니라 이송, 설계/제작, 연소이력 등을 포함한 자료수집 및 가공, DB 시스템 및 입력화면 설계 작업을 수행하여 인터넷으로 사용후연료 관리상태를 확인할 수 있는 종합 DB 시스템을 구축할 예정이다.

This research analyze the current status pertaining to the sport industry's information system and information network in Korea to propose integrated information network of sport industry construction measures with the goal of optimizing vertical and horizontal network formation, and knowledge information sharing and dissemination. To construct integrated information network of sport industry, literature examination and meeting of experts to search for measures are utilized. This paper analyze the realities of the sport industry's information system and information network in Korea to propose the following when it comes to the measures to realize sport industry's information integration. First, DB for sport industry relate information that factored in the Ontology is being developed. In other words, it is necessary to design a DB that factors in the Semantic Web. Second, once the DB relate to the sport industry that factored in the Ontology is developed, it is necessary to build RSS/Atom based active network that enables exchange of organic information among them.

음성의 과학적인 연구를 위해서는 대상이 되는 음성을 체계적으로 수집 정리한 음성 데이터베이스가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 공동 이용을 목적으로 본 연구팀에서 지금까지 구축한 음성 DB의 중간 결과 및 향후 구축계획에 대하여 기술한다.

음성정보처리 연구에 공통으로 이용 가능한 대량의 각종 음성 데이터를 수집, 편집, 배포하는 dfl은 연구 개발자의 입장에서는 분석, 합성, 인식등의 알고리즘 개발 평가에 이용 가능하며, 음성인식, 합성 시스템의 사용자 입장에서는 각종 시스템의 성능을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있다는 면에서 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 국내 음성 DB 의 효율적인 구축을 위한 방안 도출에 참고하기 위하여 해외 각국의 구축 동향을 기관별, 형태별, 분야별로 구체적으로 정리하여 소개한다.

웹 학술정보자원의 급속한 증가 및 이용도의 증가로 인하여 이들 자원의 원활한 활용을 위한 체계 마련이 시급하다. 본 연구는 인터넷에 산재해 있는 웹 학술정보자원에 대한 효율적인 DB구축을 위한 기초작업으로서 웹 학술정보자원에 한정된 메타데이터 세트 추출과정과 모형제시 및 각 메타데이터 요소에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 메타데이터 요소 추출은 세계적으로 통용되는 메타데이터 세트의 분석과 매핑 작업 및 웹 학술정보자원의 구축을 위해 필요하다고 판단되는 요소를 추가하였으며 메타데이터 요소의 분석은 더블린 코어의 기본 15개 요소에 기저하여 실시하였다.
