  • Two brackish cyclopoid species are reported mostly from the estuaries and salt marshes in the southern coast of Korea: Limnoithona sinensis (Burckhardt, 1913) and Apocyclops borneoensis Lindberg, 1954. The two species as well as the genera are newly added to Korean fauna. Herein, the redescription is provided with the systematic accounts and detailed illustrations of them.

  • Paramolgus orientalis n. sp. is described as an associate of the antipatharian coral Antipathes japonicus from Jeju Island, Korea. The new species is distinguished from its three relatives P. constrictus, P. delicatulus, and P. insectus, all known from antipatharians in tropical waters, by its long caudal ramus which is more than four times as long as wide, by the possession of 4 setae on maxillule, and by other morphological differences in the antenna and maxilla.

  • A taxonomic study on the genus Tropocyclops has been accomplished as a part of the series of studies on the freshwater cyclopoid copepods in South Korea. As a result, the Tropocyclops prasinus, hitherto known from Korea in many reports and papers, turns out to be a species complex of three sibling species: T. prasinus (Fischer, 1860), T. ishidai n. sp., and T. setulifer n. sp. This paper deals with description of two of these new species with taxonomic accounts on their inter- or intraspecific morphological discrepancies.

  • The genus Oithona was investigated taxonomically in samples collected from 10 regions of the Korean waters. In result, 18 species of the genus Oithona were identified, and a key table on 18 species was given. Of these following nine species were new records for Korean waters: Oithona atlantica, 0 . attenuata, 0 . davisae, 0. hamata, 0. longispina, 0 . oculata, 0 . simplex, 0. tenuis, 0. vivida.
