Considerable interest has been directed toward utilizing virtual environment-based simulations for teacher education which provide authentic experience of classroom environment and repetitive training. Emotional Interaction should be considered for more advanced simulation learning performance. Since emotion is important factors in creative thinking, inspiration, concentration, and learning motivation, identifying learners' emotional interactions and applying these results to teaching simulation is essential activities. In this context, this study aims to identify the objective data for the empathetic response through the movement of the learner's EEG (Electroencephalogram) and eye-tracking, and to provide clues for designing emotional teaching simulation. The results of this study indicated that intended empathetic response was provided and in terms of valence (positive and negative) states and situational interest played an important role in determining areas of interest. The results of this study are expected to provide guidelines for the design of emotional interactions in simulations for teacher education as follow; (a) the development of avatars capable of expressing sophisticated emotions and (b) the development of scenarios suitable for situations that cause emotional reactions.

This study analyzed the effects of the all-in-one automatic fire shutter (hereinafter referred to as "all-in-one shutter") installed along the fire compartment in a five-story high school building on the evacuation time by using the Pathfinder simulation program. When the all-in-one shutter was added as a new variable, the evacuation time was delayed, indicating insufficient evacuation safety. The evacuation time exceeded the appropriate standard when the evacuation exit was designated to the students in the present state of being placed on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors and the all-in-one shutter was activated. When students were placed on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors under the same conditions, the evacuation time was also greatly exceeded. However, when the width of the entrance was set to 130cm, the evacuation time was almost the same as when the all-in-one shutter was not installed. In high-rise school buildings, the bottleneck caused by all-in-one shutters is becoming a major factor in evacuation barriers. To ensure the evacuation safety of school buildings, it has been judged that evacuation education and training to predict the evacuation time required through the all-in-one shutter entrance and induce an evacuation procedure suitable for the standard evacuation time should be carried out in parallel. The implications of this study and suggestions for effective fire compartments and follow-up studies were discussed.

The paper brings across data that is utilized in the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) status collected between February and April of 2021 across Saudi Arabia. The data set was collected using questionnaires established through online mechanisms for the respondents. In the questionnaire, personal details included five questions while seven questions addressed the working model of personal mobile devices. Six questions addressed the awareness of employees bring your own device awareness for employees comprised seven questions and two questions addressed the benefits of business achievements. In the identification of suitable respondents for the research, two approaches were applied. The research demanded that the respondents be Saudi Arabian nationals and have attained 18 years. Snowball and purposive techniques were applied in the collection of information from a wide area of Saudi Arabia while employing social media approaches that include the use of WhatsApp and emails in the collection of data. The approach ensured the collection of data from 857 respondents used in the identification of the status as well as issues across the BYOD environment and accompanying solutions. The data was also used in the provision of awareness in the community through short-term courses, cyber security training and awareness programs. The results of the research are therefore applicable to the context of the Saudi Arabian country that is currently facing issues in dealing with the application of personal devices in the work environment.

This study aims to predict uncertain future scenarios that may unfold in South Korea in the near future, utilizing the theory of extreme events(X-events). A group of 32 experts, consisting of government emergency planning officers, was selected as the focus group to achieve this objective. Using the Focus Group Interview (FGI) technique, opinions were gathered from this focus group regarding potential X-events that may occur within the advanced science and technology domains over the next 10 years. The analysis of these opinions revealed that government emergency planning officers regarded the "Obsolescence of current technology and systems," particularly in the context of cyber network paralysis as the most plausible X-event within science and technology. They also put forth challenging and intricate opinions, including the emergence of new weapon systems and ethical concerns associated with artificial intelligence (AI). Given that X-events are more likely to emerge in unanticipated areas rather than those that are widely predicted, the results obtained from this study carry significant importance. However, it's important to note that this study is grounded in a limited group of experts, highlighting the necessity for subsequent research involving a more extensive group of experts. This research seeks to stimulate studies on extreme events at a national level and contribute to the preparation for future X-event predictions and strategies for addressing them.

The study investigated computer literacy skills as a determinant of electronic reference sources utilization among selected secondary school students in Ado-Odo Ota Local Government, Ogun State, Nigeria. Four specific objectives with conforming research questions guided the study. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprises of SSS3 students of the three selected Community Secondary Schools in Ado Odo Ota. A sample size of 150 was used for the study. The instrument for data collection was a self-developed structured questionnaire. Data collected was analyzed using frequency and percentages. Findings of the study revealed that majority of secondary school students were not aware of the availability of electronic reference sources. It also revealed that the level of their computer literacy skills was below average. Majority of them have never used computer before and the few of them that have used computer before used it in their homes, their friend's homes or in the cyber café. It was found that lack of formal training on the use of electronic reference sources, lack of access to computer, lack of awareness of availability of electronic reference sources, lack of funds for internet subscriptions, over dependency on printed reference sources and lack of motivation to use electronic reference sources were the major hindrances to the use of electronic reference sources among secondary school students. It was recommended that the school librarians and teachers should play a role in creating awareness among secondary school students about the availability of online/ electronic reference sources among others.

Objectives: The successful implementation of the Port Safety Special Act is a very important matter. Now that one year has passed since its introduction, this study aims to review the achievements so far and identify future tasks. Methods: The provisions of the Special Act on Port Safety were analyzed and the latest literature related to port safety management was reviewed. In addition, an in-depth interview was conducted with a business owner. Results: The achievements over the past year are as follows. As business operators took greater responsibility for safety management, blind spots in safety were resolved to an extent. Specialized training for the port unloading industry was provided, and a safety management system was established for unloading docks. In addition, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries was able to intervene in the prevention of safety accidents at ports through the deployment of port safety inspectors. In 2022, the port industry accident frequency and death rate declined compared to the previous year. Conclusions: The "Port Safety Special Act" has become relatively well established in the port industry over the past year. However, since the Serious Disaster Punishment Act was implemented in January of the same year, there is a limit on determining what is necessarily the effect of the Special Act. Future tasks include unifying contracts centered on cargo handling companies, supporting safety management costs, increasing the number of port safety inspectors, producing reliable port disaster statistics, and cooperating between the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

We live in a world of insecurity; the world is changing at an ever accelerating pace. Life, society, economics, international relations, and security risk are becoming more and more complex. The nature of work, travel, recreation, and communication is radically changing. We live in a world where, seemingly with each passing year, the past is less and less's guide to the future. Security is involved in on one way or another in virtually every decision we make and every activity we undertake. The global environment has never been more volatile, and societal expectations for industrial security and increasing if anything. The complexities of globalization, public expectation, regulatory requirements, transnational issues, jurisdictional risks, crime, terrorism, advances in information technology, cyber attacks, and pandemics have created a security risk environment that has never been more challenging. We had to educate industrial security professional to cope with new security risk. But, how relevant is a college education to the security professional? A college degree will not guarantee a job or advancement opportunities. But, with a college and professional training, a person has improved chances for obtaining a favored position. Commonly, Security education and experience are top considerations to find a job so far, also training is important. Today, Security is good source to gain competitive advantage in global business. The future of security education is prospect when one considers the growth evident in the field. Modern people are very security-conscious today, so now we had to set up close relevant industrial security programs to cope with new security risk being offered in colleges or several security professional educational courses.
Information Security Incidents that have recently happen rapidly spread and the scale of that incidents' damage is large. In addition, as it proceeds to the era of converged industry in the future environment and the virtual cyber world expands to the physical world, new types of security threats have occurred. Now, it is time to supply security professionals who have a multi-dimensional security capabilities that can manage the strategies of technological security and physical security from the management point of view, rather than the ones who primarily focus on the traditional technologic-centered strategies to solve new types of security threats. In conclusion, in this paper we try to produce the curriculum of information security featured in the occupational classification system and analyze the subjects that are additionally required for those who move to other occupations to cultivate security professionals who suited to the converged-industrial environment. It is expected that multi-dimensional security professionals who suited to the converged-industrial environment will be cultivated by harmoniously integrating information security subjects from technological and business/managerial perspectives, and education training courses will be developed that effectively provide core knowledges per occupational classification when people moves to other occupations in the areas of information security.
Private security organizations are complementary to the national safety of life and property of individuals as a social role to play in maintaining peace and order. Pursuit of profit is to the public practice according to the logic of capitalist markets and customers seeking to protect the lives and property. However, the legal and institutional constraints of private security is being requirements inhibited by the development. Crime prevention as a private security role that the private companies, which will pursue the public interest. After all, the expansion of the private security crime is results in an increase in unit. The current level of private security in the 1970s remain, and the constraints is being under goodwill and expertise outside of the training system on the market. Variety of crimes, including cyber crime increases and considering the reality of the constraints on private security requirements are able to improve or supplement shall be realistic. In particular, the legal, regulatory and institutional factors must be improved, with goodwill, and for the creation of new industrial policy as a complement to the public interest should be also provided. The private security law interests through integration of private security guards should be guaranteed, and the term of the theorem, sales activities, ensuring the training of professional staff with professional qualifications system is to be settled. As a private security guard industry growth and development can be based on this composition.
Remote control is used for operating maritime autonomous surface ships. The operator controls the ship using control data generated by the remote control system. To ensure successful remote control, three principles must be followed: safety, reliability, and availability. To achieve this, the suitability of both the control data and operators for remote control must be established. Currently, there are no international regulations in place for evaluating remote control suitability through experiments on actual ships. Conducting such experiments is dangerous, costly, and time-consuming. The goal of this study is to develop a suitability evaluation method using the output values of control devices used in actual ship operation. The proposed method involves evaluating the suitability of data by analyzing the output values and evaluating the suitability of operators by examining their tracking of these output values. The experiment was conducted using a shore-based remote control system to operate the training ship 'Hannara' of Korea National Maritime and Ocean University. The experiment involved an iterative process of obtaining the operator's tracking value for the output value of the ship's control devices and transmitting and receiving tracking data between the ship and the shore. The evaluation results showed that the transmission and reception performance of control data was suitable for remote operation. However, the operator's tracking performance revealed a need for further education and training. Therefore, the proposed evaluation method can be applied to assess the suitability and analyze both the control data and the operator's compliance with the three principles of remote control.
