저소음 다이아몬드톱의 절삭소음특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the Cutting Noise Characteristics of Low-Noise Diamond Saw)

  • An experimental and numerical approach has been carried out to characterize the noise and the safety of circular diamond saw with chinks by laser-cutting. The sound pressure level of a circular diamond saw with chinks was measured when cutting workpieces. Therefore, frequency analysis results show us that the sound level was reduced as position of chinks approach to out-diameter. But the safety of circular diamond saw was lower due to the stress concentrated at the edge of chinks while cutting workpieces. FEM analysis was used for safety evaluation with the variation position of chinks. The noise characteristics of circular diamond saw were also estimated during cutting test.

Using various tools with different geometry, relationships between tool geometry parameter (rake angle, clearance angle, length of cutter) and cutting process (cutting force, surface accuracy, surface roughness) have been studied.   • In end milling processes, characterized by use of rotating tools, the underformed chip thickness varies periodically with the phase change of tool. In current study, as a new approach to analyse shear behaviors In the shear plane and chip-tool friction behavior chip-tool contact region during an end milling process. In this approach, an up-end milling process is transformed into an equivalent oblique cutting process. Experimental investigations for two sets of cutting tests i.e.. up-end milling and the equivalent oblique cutting test were performed to verify the presented model.

  • In this paper, we conducted finite element analysis to investigate the residual stress redistributions of weldment due to cutting. To evaluate the effect of the residual stress on the fatigue behavior of weldment, test specimens are commonly cut from the weldment, but the distributions of the residual stress in the cut specimen should be different from those in the original weldment. Our work is to evaluate the difference between the residual stresses before and after weldment-cutting to understand the effect of cutting on the residual stress. Transient heat analysis, elastic-plastic mechanical analysis and element removal technique are used to simulate the welding and cutting procedures on the commercial finite element code ABAQUS.

절리분포 양상에 따른 디스크커터의 절삭력에 관한 수치해석적 연구 (Numerical Analysis on Cutting Power of Disc Cutter with Joint Distribution Patterns)

  • LCM 시험은 디스크커터의 설계와 굴진성능 예측을 위한 가장 신뢰성 있는 시험으로 알려져 왔다. 하지만, 실대형 시료를 대상으로 실제의 커터 하중을 예측할 수 있는 이점이 있음에도 불구하고, 시료의 채취 및 운반이 용이하지 않고 1회 시험에 많은 비용이 소요된다는 단점을 갖고 있다. 또한 절리를 포함한 시료에 대한 시험의 경우, 시험 과정이 용이하지 않을 뿐만 아니라, 시험에서 예측된 모델을 설계에 반영하기 어려운 경우가 많다. 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위해 수치해석 모델개발에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 입자의 유동해석을 효과적으로 묘사할 수 있는 PFC2D를 이용하여 디스크커터의 절삭운동에 의한 암석시험편의 파쇄형상 및 균열 전파양상을 분석하고자 하였다. 또한 절리를 포함한 암석시험편을 모델링하여 절리의 경사각, 절리의 경사방향 그리고 절삭면에 노출된 절리의 간격의 변화에 따른 디스크커터의 절삭력을 수치해석적으로 분석하였다. 해석결과, 절리의 경사방향이 디스크커터의 진행방향과 반대일 때, 절리의 경사각이 작을수록, 노출된 절리의 간격이 좁을수록 더 큰 절삭력이 요구됨을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 수치해석 결과를 토대로, 디스크커터와 절리의 분포 특성과의 상관관계를 LCM 시험 결과와 비교 분석한다면, 보다 정확한 수치모델을 개발할 수 있을 것으로 판단되며 TBM(Tunnel Boring Machine) 굴착성능 예측 및 디스크커터의 적합 설계에 합리적인 판단기준을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • In the semiconductor industry the memory and chip were developed to high density memory and high performance chip, so circuit design was also high integrated and the test bed was needed to be thin and fine pitch socket. LGA(Land Grid Array) IC socket with thin wall thickness was designed to satisfy this requirement. The LGA IC socket plastic part was manufacture by injection molding process, it was needed accuracy, stiffness and suit resin with high flowability. After injection molding process the side gates were needed to remove for further assembly process. ln this study, the cold press cutting process was applied to remove the gates. For design of punch and die, the cold press cutting analysis was implemented by$DEFORM-2D^{TM}$ ln consideration of the simulation results, an adequate punch and die was designed and made for the cutting unit. In order to verify the performance of cutting process, the roughness of cutting section of the part was measured and was satisfied in requirement.

  • 로드헤더에 미치는 변수의 영향력을 분석하기 위해 픽커터 절삭시험 관련 참고문헌들을 조사하였고, 수록된 데이터들을 수집하였다. 입력 인자는 일축압축강도, 절삭 깊이, 절삭 간격, 받음각, 비틀림각, 출력 인자는 비에너지, 절삭력, 수직력으로 결정했다. 입력 인자와 출력 인자로 분류 후 실험계획법을 작성하였고 분산분석을 이용해 변수들에 대한 기여도를 조사하였다. 그 결과, 절삭력과 비에너지에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 일축압축강도와 절삭 간격으로 분석되었다.

플라즈마 절단 후 제작된 용접부의 기계적 특성

  • The influence of surface preparation methods after plasma cutting on the quality of welding zone is investigated. For comparison. three types of welded specimens are prepared by machining(YM), plasma cutting with light regrinding(WPG) and without regrinding(WP), by using three kinds of materials, carbon steel(S45C), stainless steel(Type304) and aluminum alloy (6061-T6). Nondestructive examination, hardness test, microstructure examination, and fracture toughness test are performed. The results show that there is no appreciable reduction in hardness or fracture toughness in WP specimens. But a little difference in heat affected gone size is observed.

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the chip breakability during turning using the experimental equation, which is developed by an orthogonal array method. The chip breaking index(CB), non-dimensional parameter is used in the evaluation of chip breakability. The analysis of variance(ANOVA)-test has been used to check the significance of cutting parameters. And using the result of ANOVA-test, the experimental equation of chip breakability, which consists of significant cutting parameters, has been developed.
