  • This study aims at investigating the effect of product innovation accounting on the market success of instant food and convenience food businesses in Thailand with customer response capability as the mediator. In addition, it examines the effects of management accounting systems, marketing intelligence, and technology orientation on product innovation accounting. The sample for this study is 258 instant food and convenience food businesses in Thailand. To test the research relationships, a structural equation model is used. The results of this study show that product innovation accounting has a significant effect on both customer response capability and market success. Similarly, customer response capability significantly leads to market success while it mediates the product innovation accounting-market success relationship. Testing the antecedents of the research relationships, management accounting system, marketing intelligence, and technology orientation potentially affect product innovation accounting. Accordingly, product innovation accounting is a key source of competitive advantage. Product innovation accounting must be recognized by company management as a strategic tool for competing in markets and environments. • The ultimate goal of inventory management is to decide the timing and the quantity of ordering in response to uncertain demands. Recently, some researchers have focused upon an impact of distortions in the information, e.g., customer order cancellation, on an economical inventory policy. The customer order cancellation is considered a kind of distortions in demands, because a demand that is eventually cancelled is equivalent to a phony demand. Also, there are some additional distortions in the inventory information. For instance, the procurement of suppliers may include some nonconforming items as a result of imperfect production and inspection by the suppliers, and/or damage in transit. The nonconforming item should be considered a kind of distortions in the inventory information, because the nonconforming item is equivalent to a phony stock. In this article, we consider an inventory model under the situation that customers can cancel their orders and the procurement of suppliers may include some nonconforming items. Then, we introduce the customer order reservation into the inventory model for the purpose of avoiding the costly backlogs, because the customer order reservation gives retailers a period to fulfill customer's requests. We formulate a periodic review (s, S) inventory model and investigate the economical operation under the situation mentioned above. Further, through the sensitivity analysis, we show the impact of these distortions and the effect of the customer order reservation on the inventory policy.

  • The CRM(Customer Relationship Management) is the business strategy model for higher profits and competitive power of the enterprise in a new business environment. The large-scale customer response service technique uses internet, e-mail, SMS (Short Message Service), Telephony service, DM(Direct Mail) by customer channel point. Recently, business model diversify for new contract and retaining existing customer to the effort for a profitable model of business. This paper is based on Avaya PDS(Predictive Dialing System) model for CRM bond center. If the number of "available" agents are less than the number of inbound channels, then there may be real-time response problems in PDS system implemented. The Organization cannot afford to have many agents in available mode because of the high cost of manpower. This paper provides two contributions to the study. First, we present Call Object Management Mechanism of Customer Channel integration for reduce outbound consulting and reduce CallBack data in the PDS. Second, we design and implement the proposed system. Our simulation results show analysis of old model and proposed model. The proposed model can be efficiently used in Large-scale CRM.

  • Recently a large number of people have been using social networking and microblogging services such as Facebook and Twitter. These mediums play a pivotal communication channel in a business-to-customer (B2C) relationship. Given its importance in today's business, companies have invested in the strategic application of social network services to reach out to customers. This study provides a blueprint for mechanisms for successful execution of social network services in the context of developing an effective B2C relationship, such as customer participation behavior. The S-O-R(Stimulus-Organism-Response) framework lays out the foundation for developing our research model and provides a structured view for understanding customer participation behavior on brand loyalty. For the methodology, this study employed a mixed-method approach. Additionally, in order to provide empirical evidences, a total of 121 respondents have completed the survey. All the data were compiled and analyzed through structural equation modeling and were implemented in partial least square (PLS). To sum up, this study presented theoretical and practical implications by providing the effect of customer participation behavior on brand loyalty through B2C microblogging.

  • Purpose: Due to the explosive growth and widespread use of smartphones, new business opportunities are emerging. Despite the importance of creating customer value in using smartphone applications, past studies on have mainly focused on functions or factors and specifications that influence users to use the device. Methods: This study is intended to identify how customer dissatisfaction from the use of smartphone application services affects customer sentiment and behavior. The research model is tested via a survey of 290 smartphone application users. Results: The result of this empirical study indicates that customer dissatisfaction significantly affects the user's disappointment and regret in using a service, which are subordinate values of customer emotion. The user's anger is positively associated with 'Negative word of mouth' and 'Complaint', which are subordinate values of customer behavior, but not with an intention to switch to another service. 'Regret' and 'Disappointment' are positively associated with 'Negative word of mouth' and 'Switching intention', but not with 'Making direct complaints'. Finally, customer's negative sentiments are a significant intermediary in the relationship between customer dissatisfaction and behavioral response. Conclusion: Finally, the study offers a more systematic understanding on the phasal response process of customer dissatisfaction in relation to the provision of smartphone application services.

  • Purpose - This study aims to identify the priorities of medical service quality improvement by customer satisfaction characteristics and potential customer satisfaction improvement (PCSI) index based on the dualistic quality classification of Kano Model (1984) for Comprehensive Health Screeening Center in General Hospitals and Centers only for Comprehensive Health Screening and suggest a direction for future improvement. Research design, data, and methodology - Through advanced research on health screening medical service quality, this study set four service quality factors, including tangible, human, process and supportive factors, and 39 measurement items. Based on these items, the study used 117 questions, which consist of dualistic quality factors, customer satisfaction coefficients, positive and negative questions for PCSI index and questions for current satisfaction. 300 effective samples were collected for adults in their 20s who experienced health screening service in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Incheon within the past two years. Collected data were input in the quality evaluation duality table to categorize quality factors and calculate customer satisfaction coefficients by Timko(1993). The study also analyzed PCSI index in comparison with current satisfaction and identified priorities in quality improvement. Results - It was found that the most urgent factors to improve the quality in both groups were adequate waiting hours and emergency response for complications, which are process factors classified as unitary quality. It is urgently needed to improve the quality as the PCSI index was high in supportive factors (complaint response team) as attractive quality in Comprehensive Health Screening Center in General Hospitals and in process factors (prevention of infection) as unitary quality in Centers only for Comprehensive Health Screening. As the PCSI index was low in space use as a tangible factor, it was found that the current level can be maintained instead of improvement. Conclusions - To improve the health screening medical service quality, it is required to focus on process factors (adequate waiting hours, emergency response for complications, prevention of infection) and supportive factors (complaint response team) among service qualities perceived by users. It is proposed to ensure continuous efforts to manage and reinforce priorities as a direction for future improvement in health screening service.
