An Analysis of a Causal Relationship between a Franchise Coffee Shop's Servicescape Factors and the Ability to Provide Service with Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty

  • Purpose - This study aims to provide domestic franchise coffee shops with useful information by analyzing the impact of servicescape and the ability to provide service on the customer satisfaction and loyalty in franchise coffee shops in Seoul. Research, data, and Methodology - The data were collected for a month from 1st in February, 2016 through judgement sampling. Then, the available collected data were analyzed with SPSS 19.0 package. Results - The results from this study are as follows. First, the servicescape factors, which have impact on a franchise coffee shop's customer satisfaction, are determined to be interior, cleanliness and coziness. Next, the ability to provide service affects customer satisfaction. Third, servicescape factors have impacts on customer satisfaction. Also, the service from a coffee shop affects customer loyalty. Therefore, a customer's satisfaction through services of a coffee shop has an impact on customer loyalty. Conclusions - It is important to have not only the ability to provide service but also servicescape factors, such as interior, cleanliness and coziness in order to be distinct from other competitors. These difference might create customer satisfaction and retention which will bring profits.

  • In terms of company management for market segmentation and creating new market opportunity, Blog service has much important meanings. This study was designed to investigate the casual relationship among service quality, service value, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty in the given blog service site "Cyworld". Through the empirical results, specific factors of blog service quality were discovered to be amusement, interaction, customization, reliability and convenience. Also rte confirmed that service value intervening between blog service quality and customer satisfaction plays an important role. This paper presents much implications both theoretical and practical side.

  • This research suggests the strategic adoption methodology of Customer Relationship Management. The backgrounds of CRM is the business environment changing that Market power is shifting to the customer who has unprecedented powers of choice today. The strategic adoption of Customer Relationship Management determines the value, needs and preferences of each customer or customer segment. Customer Relationship Strategy is an explicitly defined plan for how a company has decided to connect with, relate to, and focus on its chosen customers to create value. Deliberate decisions must be made, often involving trade-offs, so that investments are aligned with customer needs and value. Plan defined in terms of target customers value proposition, role in value delivery, and risk/reward sharing. All customers are not created equal; specific customers and/or customers segments are more desirable/valuable to pursue. Key premise of CRM is that value can be created by changing company's business model to better connect with customers. Area of service of Customer Relationship Management are as follows. Portfolio strategy, Market Opportunity Assessment, Brand Equity, Market Positioning, Pricing, Channel Strategy, Market Segmentation. Target Market Identification, Customer LifeTime Value Analysis, Customer Profitability, Customer Connections Economics Analysis. The objects of CRM are maximizing customer service effectiveness, improving customer loyalty, increasing customer service efficiency, optimizing intelligence about customer behaviors and preferences.

  • The more advanced IT and mobile technologies get, the smarter customers become in the use of airline services. Using an airline, passengers are expecting more value than what airline're willing to provide them. Therefore this paper tries to find out the effect of airline staff's perception of airline's service management strategies to realize passengers' value based on previous oversea's research results. First of all, this paper provides t-test analysis results between passengers and airline staff regarding the perception of airline's service management strategy and customer orientation. Moreover, it was analyzed how the staff's understanding of the upper management's decision on service strategies would results in meeting customer's expecting values through such mediating variables as job satisfaction and customer orientation. It was proven the perception of service management strategies by staff played a very important role to realize customer's value.

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to analyze franchise coffee shop service quality factors based on pilot research. In the proposed analysis, store atmosphere is added as one of the service quality factors. We aim to examine how franchise coffee shop service quality and store atmosphere influence customer satisfaction and loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology - Data was collected from 482 Korean coffee shop franchises and analyzed using frequency analysis, reliability/validity assessments, correlation analysis, and regression analysis with the software program SPSS 19.0. Results - The results are as follows. First, taste is revealed to be the most influential factor among components that have an impact on service quality. Second, taste also turned out to have the most impact on service quality among components influencing customer loyalty. Last, customer satisfaction affected customer loyalty. Conclusions - This study's findings show that taste was the most influential factor on service quality. The conclusion here is that most of the coffee shop customers are very familiar with coffee taste and this is influencing their loyalty.

An Integration of Kano's Model and Exit-Voice Theory : A Case Study

  • The purpose of this study was to examine overall customer satisfaction associated with medical service quality in Taiwan by integrated Kano's model and customer satisfaction index model. Another purpose was to confirmed nonlinear and asymmetric relationship of Customer Satisfaction and Quality Performance by the research outcome. By analyzing 1,100 patients or their family members, this study used the structural equation model (SEM) with AMOS software for data analysis. The results show that must-be attributes, one-dimensional attributes and attractive attributes had a direct effect on overall customer satisfaction, Surprisingly, overall customer satisfaction had positively influenced customer loyalty customer satisfaction had negatively influenced customer complaints. The study also found that customer complaints have direct effect on customer loyalty. Importantly, the study found out the must-be attributes, the attractive attributes and one-dimensional attributes increased, the level of overall customer satisfaction also increased. The customer satisfaction positively influences customer loyalty in medical service quality in Taiwan. The findings might reveal new insights for researchers dealing with quality of medical service and for hospital managers who devote resources exclusively to achieving highest possible levels of patient satisfaction.

Customer Retention Model in the Medical Service Organization: Focusing on Specialized Hospital Services

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the theoretical basis for assessing the strategic increase in customer perception of service quality, justice, and relationship benefits. Especially in terms of increasing relationship commitment and customer loyalty in the medical service sector. Research design: Data were collected by questionnaires through specialized hospital services. Survey was conducted on patients who have been treated at a spine specialized hospital. Results: Research shows that service quality, justice, and relationship benefits have the greatest direct impact on relationship commitment, and relationship commitment has a strong direct impact on customer loyalty in the medical service organization. Conclusions: The effect of combination of core and voluntary service behavioral attributes such as service quality, justice and relationship benefits have the most positve impact on relationship commitment and customer loyalty. Administratively, this study contributes to understanding the role of service quality, justice, and relationship benefits in the medical service sector. The results showed that in order to induce service quality, justice and relationship benefits should be facilitated relationship commitment and customer loyalty enlarged.

  • In this paper, we identify the factors of supplier service quality, and explore the relationships between these factors and customer satisfaction, and between these factors and customer loyalty. Through empirical analysis, the five factors, such as technical ability, information service, service flexibility, delivery reliability, and after service, are identified. The analysis also shows that information service and service flexibility influence customer satisfaction, and service flexibility and after service influence customer loyalty.

  • The main purpose of this study intends to study the theoretical interconnection between human response capability and customer relationship management advantage while considering the essential role of service application of information technology as direct, indirect (mediating), and interactive (moderating) influences in the theory. Based on the study sample, the new findings help comprehend the overall interconnected relationship which includes the direct and indirect (mediating) effects of information technology service capability and human response capability as well as their interaction (moderation) on customer relationship management advantage. The new insights interprets the two capabilities (human and information technology) are vital to business because they are the foundation set of service resources significantly to enhance customer relationship management advantage.

Role-Play Training Factors that Positively Influence Training Satisfaction and Customer Service Orientation

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of effective role-play and training on employee education satisfaction and customer orientation. Evidence of the suggested objective is obtained by monitoring the effectiveness of hotel service training. Research design, data, and methodology - Data were collected from 280 role-play sessions performed in a Korean Hotel and examined using a frequency analysis, reliability/validity assessments, correlation analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS 19.0. Results - 1) Entrepreneurs and training instructors should enthusiastically apply service education in order to enhance each employee d evaluation in terms of customer satisfaction and customer orientation. 2) The most effective factor on customer satisfaction and orientation is the instructor's qualifications. 3) Since a higher level of education-training satisfaction leads to better customer orientation, effective education-training is essential to achieve this result. Conclusions - The study was able to obtain practical evidence that can confirm that service education-training through role-play positively affects employee customer service orientation. In future advanced research on training effects on customer orientation, various internal factors of a business should also be considered.
