The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors of CRM(Customer Relationship Management) activity and the difference in CRM effects according to customers responses. The investigators interviewed the buyers of three department stores in Daejeon area and surveyed 468 people aged over 20 who had ever shopped at those stores. For data analysis, we used factorial analysis, multiple regression analysis, path analysis, and ANOVA, etc., along with SPSS 10.0. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Six CRM activity factors were identified as 'Benefit & Information,' 'Service,' 'Customer Invitation,' 'Customer Contact,' 'Special Management,' and 'Purchase-related Help.' 2) Customer satisfaction of CRM-positive group was affected by such factors as 'Service,' 'Customer Invitation,' and 'Special Management,' and also customer loyalty directly by 'Customer Satisfaction' and 'Benefit & Information.' On the other hand, customer satisfaction of CRM-less-positive-group was influenced by the factors such as 'Service,' 'Purchase-related Help,' 'Customer Contact,' and 'Special Management,' and also customer loyalty directly by 'Customer Satisfaction' and 'Service.'
The purpose of this research is to identify causalities among service quality, service value, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty and to compare the causalities between in-patients and out-patients. A multi-group structural equation model was used to test the hypothesis of conceptual model. Empirical results indicate that two factors such as assurance and empathy have direct impact on service value and customer satisfaction in both the patients. In the results of multi-group comparison test, however, the path coefficients from service value to customer loyalty and from customer satisfaction to customer loyalty were different across the two groups. In out-patients, customer loyalty is more positively related with service value. In in-patients, customer loyalty is more positively related with customer satisfaction. It is proven that service quality influences customer loyalty. Therefore To compete successfully in today's volatile & competitive medical markets, the hospital needs to manage the service quality, considering the type of patients.
The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the effect of job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior on customer orientation to investigate the causal relationships among these variables. The questionnaires was administered to 121 fashion product employees of department stores in Gwang-ju city during February $10{\sim}15$, 2006. For analysis of data, frequency, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, regression analysis, and path analysis were applied. The results indicated that job satisfaction of employees significantly influenced customer orientation(p<0.001) and organizational citizenship behavior(p<0.001). The organizational citizenship behavior of employees significantly influenced customer orientation(p<0.001). The job satisfaction had both direct and indirect effects on customer orientation mediated by organizational citizenship behavior.
The purposes of this study were to empirically examine the effect of relational benefits and relationship quality in the core variables of relationship marketing on customer satisfaction, to investigate the causal relationships among these variables. The questionnaires was administered to 417 women shopped in a fashion retail store in Gwang-ju city during January 14-18, 2002. For analysis of data, frequency, factor analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis were applied. The results were as follows: 1. The customers' perceived relational benefits were categorized as follow: 1) special treatment,2) social, and 3) psychological benefits. Relationship quality was categorized into two factors: trust and commitment 2. The relational benefits significantly influenced customer satisfaction. 3. The relational benefits significantly influenced relationship quality. 4. The relationship quality significantly influenced customer satisfaction. 5. The relational benefits had both direct and indirect effects on customer satisfaction mediated by relationship quality. The results indicated that causal relationship was existed among these three variables.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between medical service quality, emotional attachment, customer satisfaction, and customer behavioral intention of small and medium hospitals. Methods: 228 patients who have used small and medium hospitals' medical services were selected. The analysis methods used were confirmatory factor analysis, validation of discrimination, path analysis, and bootstrapping using SPSS 23 and AMOS 23. Results: As a result of the hypothesis test, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance were found to have a positive (+) influence on emotional attachment and customer satisfaction, while empathy had a positive (+) influence on emotional attachment only. Emotional attachment had a positive (+) influence on customer satisfaction and behavioral intention, and customer satisfaction had a positive (+) influence on behavioral intention. Conclusions: Medical service providers in small and medium hospitals should recognize that increasing customer satisfaction based on emotional attachment is a pathway to customer acquisition and, ultimately, a way to promote effective management.
This Research analyzed with itinerary tracking : two of each other shopping sites were selected as research point. Analyzing the result, pedestrian path choice is affected by direction of escalator, visual information of the object, plain form of passage, presence and absence of companion and proportion of spatial knowledge from experience. The factors affecting pedestrian path choice are divided into two groups which are the effects from the environment, and personal characteristics.
Purpose: A restaurant is a business of the physical distribution of food and beverages which includes intercultural interaction. This research paper aims to examine the influence of Japanese taste as a product advantage, determining service quality factor in the restaurant business, the e-CRM that involves technology, social media campaigns to reach the target market of young people, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in Sushi Tei restaurant. This study also intends to find direct and indirect influence between the variables. Research design, data and methodology: Quantitative research was conducted using a survey method by distributing 100 questionnaires to Sushi Tei customers in Jakarta, consisting of Gen Z and Millennials. Samples were taken at each outlet in the Jakarta area on weekend and weekdays by purposive sampling. Data was generated by path analysis Results: The results showed that Japanese taste, service quality, and e-CRM significantly influence customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. However, social media campaigns failed to influence customer loyalty. As a result, customer satisfaction has a significant influence on customer loyalty within Sushi Tei restaurant. Conclusion: The study also proposed significant implications to develop and maintain a relationship with the customer to gain satisfaction and loyalty in the food and beverage industry.
Background: The emotional labor performed by organization members affects psychological well-being at the individual level, which consequently affects results at the organizational level. Moreover, despite evidence that the customer orientation and service level of nurses greatly affect hospital management, studies that comprehensively analyze emotional labor, work burnout, and work engagement related to customer orientation and service level are lacking. This study investigated relationships and paths by designing a model of the effect of emotional labor performed by nurses on the level of service delivery and customer orientation. Methods: This survey-based study was based on a path analysis designed to verify a hypothesized model involving emotional labor performed by nurses, level of service delivery, customer orientation, work engagement, and burnout. Questionnaires were distributed to 378 nurses in general hospitals with more than 500 beds located in Seoul, Republic of Korea, between March 25 and April 8, 2013. Results: The results showed that deep acting and work engagement had direct and indirect effects on increasing the level of service delivery and customer orientation of nurses. However, surface acting had an indirect effect on reducing the level of service delivery and customer orientation. Conclusion: It would be more effective to develop interventions to enhance deep acting and work engagement than to attempt to reduce surface acting and work burnout in clinical nursing settings.
Identifying the major moving patterns of shoppers' movements in the selling floor has been a longstanding issue in the retailing industry. With the advent of RFID technology, it has been easier to collect the moving data for a individual shopper's movement. Most of the previous studies used the traditional clustering technique to identify the major moving pattern of customers. However, in using clustering technique, due to the spatial constraint (aisle layout or other physical obstructions in the store), standard clustering methods are not feasible for moving data like shopping path should be adjusted for the analysis in advance, which is time-consuming and causes data distortion. To alleviate this problems, we propose a new approach to spatial pattern clustering based on longest common subsequence (LCSS). Experimental results using the real data obtained from a grocery in Seoul show that the proposed method performs well in finding the hot spot and dead spot as well as in finding the major path patterns of customer movements.
