P1394 시리얼 버스 IC의 설계 (A design of P1394 serial bus IC)

  • In this paper, I designed a P1394 serial bus chip as new bus interface architecture which can transmit the multimedia data at the rate of 400 Mbps and guarantee necessary bandwidth. because multimedia data become meaningless data after appropriate time, it is necessary to transfer multimedia data in real time, P1394 serial bus chip designed in this paper support isochronous transfer mode to solve this problem. Also, designed P1394 serial bus chip can transfer high quality video data or high quality audio data because it support the speed of 400 Mbps. While user must set device ID manually in previous interface such as SCSI, device ID is automatically determined if user connect each node with designed P1394 serial bus cable and power on. To design this chip, I verified the behavioral of the entrire system and synthesized layout. Also, I did layout the analog blocks and blocks which must be optimized in full custom.

  • In this paper, STATCOH(static synchronous compensator : one of the custom power equipment) is proposed for balancing unbalanced loads. Compensation current references are given by the analysis of the unbalanced 3-phase currents. And for detecting negative-sequence components, digital Butterworth LPF(low pass filter) is used. The predicted current controller in the synchronous rotating coordinates is also proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of STATCOM is verified by the simulations for unbalanced loads.

  • Owing to a tremendous progress of information technology we have faced a great change of a society. This change has happened to almost all of a society. As a result intangible goods are also included as a major concern in international trade. We may say U.S. is one of the countries transaction of software is the most flourishing. I have tried to classified the cases of software transaction in U.S. into five groups. As a result I have known the UCC had been applied to the almost transaction of standard software. However UCC had not been applied to custom software and data processing. In these days UCITA which is very similar to a previous proposal UCC 2B has been presented. This is a contract law that would apply to computer software, multimedia products, and databases. It has been designed to create a uniform commercial contract law for those products. Now therefore we should make observation of a tendency about transaction of software in U.S. The reason is that we pay attention to the symbol and dormant power of U.S. in international trade.

  • We have developed an optimization algorithm based formulation for performing efficient time driven simultaneous place and route for FPGAs. Field programmable gate array (FPGAs) provide of drastically reducing the turn-around time for digital ICs, with a relatively small degradation in performance. For a variety of application specific integrated circuit application, where time-to-market is most critical and the performance requirement do not mandate a custom or semicustom approach, FPGAs are an increasingly popular alternative. This has prompted a substantial amount of specialized synthesis and layout research focused on maximizing density, minimizing delay, and minimizing design time.

  • 고도화 정보화시대의 도래로 수용가측의 전력품질에 대한 관심이 나날이 높아지고 있고, 전원 품질에 의한 경제적 피해가 늘어나면서 중요 부하 및 계통을 보호하기 위한 전력품질 보상기기 개발에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 대표적인 전력품질 향상기기로는 STATCOM, DVR, SSTS 등이 있으며, 이러한 기기의 사용이 늘어나면서, 하나의 배전계통에 여러 종류의 전력품질 보상기기들이 동시에 운영될 경우, 보상기기 상호간에 미치는 영향, 그리고 대용량의 비선형 부하가 존재할 경우 보상기의 정상 동작에 미치는 영향을 함께 고려하여 보상기기의 동작 특성을 실계통에서 검증하기 위한 전력품질 실증시험장 구축이 필요하다.

  • 본 논문은 DVR과 DSTATCOM 같은 수 MVA급 용량의 CPD (Custom Power Device)를 평가하기 위한 Sag 및 Swell 전압 발생 장치에 사용될 두 가지 형태의 새로운 회로 방식에 관한 것이다. 제안된 Sag 및 Swell 전압 발생 장치는 계통선로에 직렬로 연결된 직렬 변압기를 통해 다양한 형태로 전압을 발생 시킬 수 있으며, 전격회로는 Solid-State Switched Tap Changer와 AC-Chopper 두 가지 방식을 이용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 각각의 방식에 대한 고조파 분석을 하였고, 또한 시뮬레이션을 통해서 제안된 Sag 및 Swell 전압 발생장치를 통해서 원하는 형태의 전압을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • This paper describes a new 3 phase Sag-Swell generator for the test of custom power devices such as UPS, DVR, DSTATCOM, SSTS, etc. The proposed scheme has good features of simple structure, high reliability wide range of sag and swell variation, It can also generate voltage outage. The control scheme for the generation is simple. The operation principle of the proposed scheme is described and verified through simulations.

복식에 표현된 시대적 이상미 - 르네상스.바로크 시대를 중심으로 - (Ideal Beauty Represented in Dress - Focused on the Renaissance and Baroque Periods -)

  • Each stylistic period through history has its own unique look. The characteristic look of each period is completed and visualized with its prevailing ideologies, aesthetic consciousness and morality by means of 'form'. A period expresses its characteristics in accordance with form according to the widespread preferences of the time. Among the various cultural factors that form the look of the time, those that the period holds as ideal aesthetic values create the concept of 'ideal beauty' for that period. This study begins by establishing the conceptual definition of 'ideal beauty' and develops the premise that dress reflected ideal beauty. To attain the goal of the study, the selected objects are dresses represented in paintings, the actual garments from the Renaissance to Baroque periods and written references about art, art history, and history of costume. The results, based upon a theoretical study of the zeitgeist and aesthetic values of the 16th and 17th centuries, are as follows: first, ideal beauty influences the substance and form that constitute dress style. It is a byproduct of the spirit of time, the zeitgeist. The concept of ideal beauty is born within the lifestyle pursued by the ruling class and focuses on the body as an epitome of beauty, moral values, custom, lifestyle and taste as it becomes visualized via form. Second, the aspect of dress representing the ideal beauty of particular time varied according to the times. In both periods, power and dignity were used to achieve the ideal aesthetic values. In the Renaissance, power was expressed by the horizontal extension of dress (i.e. wide farthingales and sleeves) and in the Baroque period, by vertical extension (i.e. long and tall wigs, fontanges and trains). It can be said that fashion in both periods achieved an ideal, such as power and dignity, via the same means, by extending dress sizes, but the ways in which those ideals were portrayed in each period's dress yielded very contrary styles. It is understood through this study that ideal beauty influenced the dress style of the Renaissance and Baroque periods and played a decisive role in determining its forms and symbolic meanings.

  • 최근 대체에너지에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 수소에너지를 기반으로 하는 차세대 발전 장치인 연료전지 관련 기술 개발이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 특히, 고온 연료전지의 대표적인 형태인 용융 탄산염 연료전지(MCFC: Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell, 이하 MCFC)는 전력사업용으로의 높은 가능성을 인정받아 화석연료를 대체할 발전방식으로 평가 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Aspen Custom Modeler($ACM^{TM}$)에서 평형반응식을 이용하여 스택 모델을 구성한 후, Aspen $Plus^{TM}$에서 BOP(Balance of Plant) 시스템과 스택을 연결하여 전체 MCFC 발전 시스템의 정상상태를 모사하였다. 모델의 유효성을 입증하기 위해서 전류밀도, 연료이용률, S/C ratio, 재순환 흐름 비와 같은 주요 조업변수에 따른 셀 전압, 전력, 효율 등 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다. 그리고 Aspen $Dynamics^{TM}$에서 PID제어 방식을 적용하여 제어루프를 구성하였고 부하변화, 설정점 변화, 재순환 흐름비 변화에 따른 각각의 사례연구를 통하여 전체 시스템의 성능변화를 예측하였다. 그 결과 연료이용률과 전류밀도의 변화에 따른 전체 시스템의 최대 발전 효율 및 출력전압을 위한 운전조건을 제안하였다.
