가정용 태양광/ESS 통합 스마트 PCS 개발 (Development of Smart PCS(Power Conditioning System) Integrating PV/ESS for Home)

  • 최근 들어 가정 내 태양광과 에너지저장시스템을 도입하여 에너지 자립도를 높이고자 하는 기술 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 낮에 생산된 전기를 에너지 저장 시스템에 충전해 두고 전기요금이 높을 때 사용함으로써 효율적인 에너지 관리를 수행할 수 있다. 국내에서는 아직까지 가정용 실시간 요금제가 이루어지고 있지 않지만 누진제 상의 일정 목표까지 전기 사용량을 낮출 수 있다. 가정 내 태양광을 도입하기 위해서는 전력 변환장치인 PCS를 필요로 한다. PCS는 직류로 생산된 전력을 교류로 변환하여 사용하고 에너지 저장 시스템의 충방전을 수행하도록 한다. 에너지 자립형 스마트 홈 시스템은 태양광, 에너지저장시스템에 대한 일반인들의 관심이 높아지면서 해외를 중심으로 시장이 형성되는 단계이다. 본 논문의 결과물은 실환경에 설치되어 검증을 수행하였으며 실시간 요금제를 가정하여 에너지 절감 효과를 분석하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 해양목장에서 음향을 사용한 어군행동제어에 관한 기초적인 자료를 얻기 위하여, 감지하기 쉬운 주파수의 순음과 먹이의 조합으로 어류를 학습시켜서, 음향 순치의 가능성을 검토했다. 미차체장이 385~459mm인 수컷 8마리와 암컷 5마리를 실험 수조에 수용하여, 수조내에 설치한 수중 스피커로부터 감지하기 쉬운 200Hz의 순음을 방성하면서 원격급이 장치로부터 급이하여 조건학습을 실시했다. 학습과정을 수록한 비디오 영상으로부터 물고기의 행동을 해석하여 색이장에 출현하는 빈도를 방성 전.방성 중.방성 후로 나눠서 해석했다. 학습 개시 일로부터 8일째에 학습 음에 첫 반응을 보였으며, 4일간 학습을 중지한 후에 학습 음을 방성 하여도 반응을 보였다. 방성 후에 음원부근에 위집 하는 율이 방성 전보다 높아져서, 1분간의 평균 출현빈도는 51%였다.

R-410A 비등열전달에 미치는 미세관경의 영향 (Effect on Flow Boiling Heat Transfer of Minichannel Diameter for R-410A)

  • Two-phase flow boiling heat transfer of R-410A in horizontal small tubes was reported in the present experimental study. The local heat transfer coefficients were obtained over a heat flux range of 5 to 40 kW/$m^2$ a mass flux range of 170 to 600 kg/$m^2s$, a saturation temperature range of 3 to $10^{\circ}C$, and quality up to 1.0. The test section was made of stainless steel tubes with inner diameters of 0.5 and 3.0 mm, and lengths of 330 and 3000 mm, respectively. The test section was heated uniformly by applying a direct electric current to the tubes. The effects on heat transfer of mass flux, heat flux, inner tube diameter, and saturation temperature were presented. The experimental heat transfer coefficients are compared with six existing heat transfer coefficient correlations. A new boiling heat transfer coefficients correlation based on the superposition model for R-410A in small tubes was developed with mean deviation of 10.13%.

Flow-conditioning of a subsonic wind tunnel to model boundary layer flows

  • This study aims at modeling boundary layers (BLs) encountered in sparse and built environments (i.e. open, suburban and urban) at the subsonic Wind Tunnel (WT) at Ryerson University (RU). This WT has an insignificant turbulence intensity and requires a flow-conditioning system consisting of turbulence generating elements (i.e., spires, roughness blocks, barriers) to achieve proper turbulent characteristics. This system was developed and validated in the current study in three phases. In phase I, several Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) simulations of the tunnel with generating elements were conducted to understand the effect of each element on the flow. This led to a preliminary design of the system, in which horizontal barriers (slats) are added to the spires to introduce turbulence at higher levels of the tunnel. This design was revisited in phase II, to specify slat dimensions leading to target BLs encountered by tall buildings. It was found that rougher BLs require deeper slats and, therefore, two-layer slats (one fixed and one movable) were implemented to provide the required range of slat depth to model most BLs. This system only involves slat movement to change the BL, which is very useful for automatic wind tunnel testing of tall buildings. The system was validated in phase III by conducting experimental wind tunnel testingof the system and comparing the resulting flow field with the target BL fields considering two length scales typically used for wind tunnel testing. A very good match was obtained for all wind field characteristics which confirms accuracy of the system.

Conditioning Effects on LSM-YSZ Cathodes for Thin-film SOFCs

  • [ $50/50 vol\%$ ] LSM-YSZ의 양극은 콜로이드 증착법에 의해 YSZ 전해질상에 증착하였다. 양극 특성은 주사전자현미경과 임피던스 분석기에 의해 고찰하였다. LSM-YSZ양극의 제조 조건에 따른 영향을 관찰하였으며, 그 영향에 대한 개선책이 고체산화물 연료전지의 성능향상을 위해 제시되었다. 임피던스에 대한 온도, YSZ전해질로의 양극 접착에 대한 표면 오염, 사용하는 Pt 페이스트, 미세구조에 대한 곡표면에 가해진 연무질 분사기술과 셀과 셀의 변동성에 대한 영향들은 각각 $900^{\circ}C$ 측정, YSZ표면 연마, 일단의 Pt페이스트 사용, 평편한 YSZ판의 사용과 일관된 절차와 기술의 사용에 의해 해결되었다. 이때 재현성 있는 임피던스 스펙트럼들이 향상된 셀을 사용함으로써 얻어졌고, $900^{\circ}C$에서 (공기)LSM-YSZ/YSZ/LSM-YSZ(공기) 셀에 대해 측정된 전형적인 임피던스 스펙트럼들은 2개의 불완전한 호로 구성되었다. 또한 LSM-YSZ 양극의 임피던스 특성은 촉매층, 양극 조성, 인가 전류 등과 같은 실험 조건들에 의해서도 영향을 받았다.

  • 최근들어 자동차에어콘 콤프레셔의 전기마그네트식 콘트롤밸브는 내부형 스워시 프레이트형을 사용하고 있다. 이 시스템은 외부로부터 공급되는 전류량(신호)에 의하여 작동되며 동시에 스워시판 작동에 의한 압력은 냉매가 흐르는 비율에 의하여 결정된다. 본 논문에서는 압축기의 크랭크케이스 압력이 전기마그네트 콘트롤 밸브 전기 흐름량에 따른 유량의 값을 측정하여 엔진의 효율을 향상시키고자 한다.

컴팩트형 VAV 공조기의 성능평가와 경제성 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Economic Analysis and Performance Appraisal of Compact Type Variable Air Volume)

  • Ceiling cooling and heating system that consider load arrangement and space in the ceiling needs to be developed. Therefore, experimental and economic changes were done to verify the performance of compact type VAV. The test results were as follow. 1) Noise test result, measuring approximately 50.4 dB~56.6 dB (before ceiling in landfill), had a better ceiling deadline than the current measure, about a 10 dB noise reduction, so that the office baseline (40~50 dB) noise was judged to be less than test. 2) For the static pressure test result, taking out an outside hydrostatic 25 mmAq, 24.8 mmAq was measured, respectively, at the point. 3) For the life-cycle cost analysis result, the initial investment cost, maintenance replacement costs, and maintenance costs increased 0.2%, but the energy savings ratio was 19.5% while the whole life cycle savings of 40 years LCC was reduced 11.9%.

공동주택에서 바닥복사 난방시스템의 실별 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Individual Room Control of Radiant Floor Heating System in Apartment Buildings)

  • In Korea, the radiant heating system has been widely used as a residential heating method, which has been modernized to use hot water running into the tubes embedded in the floor structure. According to the recent improvement of living standard of residential buildings, the requirement of the thermal comfort and energy saving in heating system has been raised. Until now, the radiant floor heating system has been controlled by room thermostat installed in the living room, but for better thermal comfort, an individual room control method is adopted as an alternative. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the control performance between the current control method and the individual room control method. In this study, the control performance between the two systems is evaluated through the field experiment. And the control performances of room air temperature and energy performances are analyzed through the simulation using TRNSYS. Firstly, the simulations are performed in the various outdoor conditions and the flow rates and the simulation results are analyzed for the control performances. Also, to evaluate the energy performance, the simulations are performed under the operating conditions in which the set-point of the room air temperature is fixed or changed according to the schedule of occupancy, and the simulation results are analyzed between the two methods.

자동차 공조용 대체 냉매로서의 H냉매에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Fluid H in Automotive Air Conditioning System as an Alternative Refrigerant)

  • It is time to prepare the phaseout of R134a, the current refrigerant, in automotive air conditioning system because the EC deadline has been coming with new platform vehicles in 2011 and all vehicles by 2017. Until now a high-pressure carbon dioxide($CO_2$) system is the leading replacement of R134a in European auto-makers but there is no firm agreement in the world automotive market. Recently three new fluids have been announced as the possibilities from Honeywell, DuPont and INEOS Fluor. The new alternative refrigerant should meet the requirements like non flammable, non toxic, no ozone depletion effect and low GWP(under 150 to meet EC regulation). The objectives of this paper are to review the fluid H from Honeywell, the more possible alternative refrigerant in 3 new fluids, compare the properties of R134a & fluid H and see the possibility as a replacement of R134a. In this experimental paper we ran and reviewed the cooling performance data in the bench system, the vehicle and the field test. We found the possibility of fluid H system to meet the R134a system performance with some hardware modifications but agreed that it is still needed to study about the long term safety, environmental effects, material compatibilities and so on.

전기자동차 압축기용 표면부착형 영구자석 전동기의 극/슬롯수 조합에 따른 특성해석 및 설계 (Design and Analysis of Surface-Mounted PM Motor of Compressor for Electric Vehicles Applications according to Slot/Pole Combinations)

  • This paper deals with design and analysis of surface-mounted PM (SPM) motor for compressor of air-conditioning system for electric vehicle applications according to slot/pole combination. First, required torque-speed curve characteristics are determined from operating conditions of the compressor. Restricted conditions such as motor size limit and current density are also determined. And then, under same rated and restricted conditions, twelve models which have different slot/pole combinations each other are designed for various pole arc/pitch ratio using simple equations and 2-d finite element (FE) analyses. Designed models are analyzed and compared in terms of back-emf THD, cogging torque, torque ripple, power losses, efficiency, etc. On the basis of analysis results, it is found that the motor with a 6-pole PM rotor and a 27-slot stator has most outstanding performances in electromagnetic aspects. Finally, through the mechanical modal analysis and demagnetization analysis, it is concluded that the determined motor is most suitable for the compressor of air-conditioning system for electric vehicles.
