The purpose of this study was intended to identify the difference of two sample groups for the student's awareness on the environment after ecological education in elementary school. For the elementary school participated in this study, we studied how the education influences the student's awareness on the environment using survey. The result showed that even though various kinds of environmental education programs were given to the participated group, there was no significance compared with the other group who did not participate. This was probably because the students not participated in the education program were frequently exposed to other similar types of environmental activities. In terms of the change of the student's awareness on the environment and their desire for continuing environmental education in future, 95.8% of students who participated in the survey showed positive answers. Considering the current environmental education that has mostly been made in class and the lack of variety of the education program, various types of environmental education programs are required, so schools, education system, and social groups should work together to compensate for the lack of the in-class education. In addition, the change of students awareness and altitude toward the environment proved the positive effect of the environmental program and showed the appropriateness increasing the opportunity for the environmental education.

Purpose: Using green supply chain management (GSCM), the current study focuses on the fashion design industry as a central player in promoting an eco-conscious consumption culture by creating awareness of the need to produce and consume eco-friendly fashion products instead of only capitalizing on the shifting consumer tastes, preferences, and expectations. Research design, data and methodology: This study selected a PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) checklist as a research methodology. The purpose is the detailed and disinterested evaluation of all the published information related to the topic of the research. Results: This study suggests brief solutions of the GSCM based on the five categories of sustainable fashion activities that contribute to the development of eco-friendly fashion designs and marketing strategies. This strategy employed by firms to promote sustainable production and consumption is a major factor in enhancing consumers' environmental awareness. Conclusions: The study delves into how brands in the fashion design industry provide a platform for collective action by investing in educational campaigns and transparent communication, collaborating with various stakeholders to maximize awareness of the need for eco-conscious consumption and the availability of green fashion products. Practitioners should consider developing a comprehensive framework to assess the feasibility of different awareness strategies and purchase stimulation approaches.

Real Estate Auction Information System purposes on providing high quality information of auction customized to consumer's situation and preference. Especially, ever-changing real time information such as the number of hits and advanced analysis for expecting the winning bid are requiring of mobile information system based on context awareness. Therefore, this paper studies on Real Estate Auction Information System based on context awareness under a smart phone environment providing auction information such as consumer's current position, the number of hits to a specific real estate, and the number of bidder to anticipate the winning bid.

The purpose of this study was to find out awareness of the environment-friendly planning elements for residential unit space among practitioners. The respondents in this questionnaire survey were 140 practitioners in architecture and interior design field. The major findings of this study were as follows; most of the respondents were aware of the impact of indoor built environment on residents' wellness. In addition, the survey respondents viewed that the factors for planning environment-friendly high-rise apartments were represented by gardening and energy-saving while their perception on the concept excluded comprehensive components affecting residents' life quality. Over 50% of respondents had an experience of applying environment-friendly planning elements in their works, and high frequency appeared on the general planning elements which had been applied special awareness as pro-environmental features. The respondents considered environment-friendly planning elements as important. Specially, space planning and system were considered more likely important in interior design field. In application of environment-friendly planning elements, cost, lack of consumers' awareness of and underdevelopment of environment-friendly materials were of concern. Therefore, the consumer's cognition needs to be improved for wide application about environment-friendly planning element, and then consumers are willing to pay additional construction cost of environment-friendly apartments. At the same time, the current practice that housing developers pass the additional cost on to residents needs to be changed. Then, the quality of life in high-rise residential settings can be improved. More importantly, the exchange and development of the reliable information on environment-friendly planning elements need to be made, and technical support and long-term policy for the development are required. This research showed current status of knowledge and practice in sustainable planning of unit apartment and proved basic information for future direction.

Currently, the amount of containers is growing up continuously. However, they still depend on humans checking or validating. In this situation, humans must participate in the systems. Situation-awareness technologies allow human participation to be minimized. The situation-awareness technologies provide data or service appropriate to the object's current state, and the state is recognized automatically by the system. They can automatically execute working processes without human intervention. We suggest a middleware system based on situation-awareness technologies using an ontology for the safety transportation of containers. The middleware is aware of the current state and sends the data required by an application. It can help build new applications by enhancing agility, and it can also support automated service processing by invoking the service required like fire-fighting, fixing container, and so on. Improving transportation of containers process automation with situation-awareness technologies reduces manpower requirements for checking and validating containers, and so saves logistics costs of container transportation.

Clean and safe water is the fundamental element for the good life of people. However, expanding the distrust on the tap water increased the anxiety on drinking water and accelerated the growth of the natural and purified water market. In this respect, this study was made to find an opportunity to invigorate the use of the Seoul tap water for drinking by means of assessing the awareness of the citizen and the current condition on the tap water in Seoul. The findings were that the direct use of the tap water for drinking was very low and 'use after boiling' was also lower relative to 'use of purified water'. Also, the education on the environment should include the importance of the use of the tap water to improve the awareness of the citizen on the tap water and the administrative role, typically for educational institutes and schools, might be required to increase the use of the tab water for drinking.

Purpose: This study was undertaken to identify the effect of current health conditions and preparation for old age of university students on the awareness of successful aging. Methods: Totally, 273 university students, based across several cities in South Korea, were enrolled for the study. Data collected were analyzed by applying descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression, using the SPSS Statistics 23.0. Results: There were three types of hierarchical regression model for awareness of successful aging in university students. Its explanatory power of each model was adjusted R² of .04, 07, and .31 respectively. Major (β=.14, p=.007), health condition (β=.13, p=.028), preparation for old age (β=.52, p<.001) were significant predictors of awareness of successful aging. Conclusion: Our study results indicate that for university students, diverse interventions to promote the awareness of successful aging must focus on improving the health condition and enhancing preparation for old age.

Indoor location system using wireless sensor network technology was applied for the status evaluation and activity monitoring of elderly person or chronic invalid at home. Location awareness application is transparent to the daily activities, while providing the embedded computing infrastructure with an awareness of what is happening in this space. To locate an object, the active ceiling-mounted reference beacons were placed throughout the building. Reference beacons periodically publish location information on RF and ultrasonic signals to allow application running on mobile or static nodes to study and determine their physical location. Once object-carried passive listener receives the information, it subsequently determines it's location from reference beacons. By using only the sensor nodes without any external network infrastructure the cost of the system was reduced while the accuracy in our experiments. was fairly good and fine grained between 7 and 15 cm for location awareness in indoor environments. Passive architecture used here provides the security of the user privacy while at the server the privacy was secured by providing the authentication using Geopriv approach. This information from sensor nodes is further forwarded to base station where further computation is performed to determine the current position of object and several applications are enabled for context awareness.

This study was conducted to examine the policies and current status of career education at universities and to compile foundational data for improving career education through an analysis of undergraduate's career awareness and career education programs. The data was collected by restructuring career education-related items from a career awareness survey conducted on 1,322 enrolled students at G University. Analyzing students' career awareness based on their year and major, a cross-analysis was conducted, while the preference for career education programs was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on the research findings, the proposal was made to strengthen career exploration programs through self-understanding, expedite the timing of career decision-making, and highlight the necessity of developing career education programs tailored to individual career readiness levels.
