  • In the 21st century, the dualistic worldview of the Cold War era collapsed and we entered an era of new creation and fusion. The fusion of different designs between East and West, the design activities of traditional clothing from the past, the use of new materials that are continuously being developed, and the mixing of unique items are being conducted in various fields. However, research is being conducted by combining fusion characteristics with hair. In addition, the period is short and the amount of research is small. Therefore, this study analyzed hairstyles of fusion images shown in hair collection using data of Juno Hair collection from 2013 to 2022 as analysis data and examined types of fusion images shown in the work of folk images, mixed images, and future images. Oriented images were divided into three categories and analyzed. In this study, we added Results of such research can be used not only as data for predicting future fashion trends, but also as basic data for exploring new design developments. In future research, it is expected that convergent research will be conducted, such as analyzing fusion images from an integrated perspective.

  • In the modern society of the 21st century where the visuality is emphasized, the illustration which expresses one symbol by embodying it is getting more spotlight than the use of character. Specifically, the fashion illustration serves the role of image promotion in other fields, for such as book, magazine, etc, as well as the fashion, and is taking root in daily lives. In response to that, this study researched on the fusion style fashion and the fashion illustration by using the violet color. The violet color which symbolizes the mysticism is being applied to society and culture in various forms, and has been considered as a precious color that represents god since ancient time, and still possesses its mysterious image even in the modern times. Moreover, as the appearance of fusion styled clothes which consolidates the latest trend image of the west and east is combined with the mysterious image of the purple to express new cultural image beyond highlighting specific image element of a country, the study on the fashion illustration based on the clothes based on the purple and fusion style would be very interesting. This study tried to produce the work that aims at the practical study based on the purple & fusion style and the theoretical consideration of fashion illustration through the analysis and investigative study of preceding studies. The findings from the study is like this: First, the violet the color, which represents the mysticism, can be confirmed to be an sophisticated, elegant and attractive image color that leads the modern fashion. Second, the fusion style which is coming into the spotlight recently can be found to have a great visual effect of consolidating the image of the west and east through the mixture with the purple color. Third, it was confirmed in our production of works that the fashion illustration was expressing a mysterious and new fusion style by blending appropriately with the purple color.

  • The fusion rates of nuclear transplant embryos with various DC voltage were 55.6-79.2%. The significantly higher fusion rates of nuclear transplant embryos were achieved at the electric field strenght of DC 1.0-2.0kV/cm(72.0-79.2%) than DC 0.75kV/cm(55.6%, P<0.05). No significant differences in the percentage of embryos that cleaved(48.1, 55.4 and 42.6% respectively) and the percentage of cleaved embryos that developed to morulae/blastocyst(1.9, 5.3 and 1.9% respectively) could be found among the three types of in vitro culture system (Granulosa cell, BOEC co-culture and SOF, P>0.01). The age of the recipient cytoplast(30 vs 40hr) had no effect on the fusion rates and the rates of cleavage development(36.9 vs 44.1%, P>0.01).

  • The synthesis of myosin, actin, tropomyosin and troponin in the cultured muscle cells of chick embryo during the differentiation were analyzed. The synthesis of myosin and actin were very active prior to the myoblast fusion while the troponin synthesis became active after the fusion. Tropomyosin was synthesized practically constantly throughout the culture period. Several proteins were detected in the muscle-conditioned medium strongly suggesting that the cells in culture released polypeptides which might act on the membrane of neighboring cells cells to initiate the fusion.

  • In order to find out whether myoblast cells release into the culture medium any substances that induce or promote the fusion of myoblasts, chick embryonic myoblasts were cultured and the cultured medium (muscle-conditioned medium, MCM) was collected. The MCM was then added to the newly cultured myoblasts to examine if it has fusion-promoting activity. The MCM was also analyzed for its protein content before and after its addition to the second culture. The MCM apparently showed fusion-promoting activity when applied to unfused young myoblasts, suggesting that it contained substances that promote the fusion and that had been released from cells fo the previous culture. Analysis of proteins in the myoblasts and in the MCM suggested that the released protein was absorbed by or tightly bound to myoblasts of the second culture. One of the released proteins of about 175 kilodalton was degraded to a polypeptide of approximately 145 kilodalton, which appeared to act upon the membrane proteins of unfused myoblasts so as to stimulate their membrane to fuse with neighboring cells.

  • In order to find factors which are essential for the differentiation of chick embryonic myoblasts in culture, chick embryo extract was fractionated by ammonium sulfate or/and Sephadex G-75, and the effects of each fraction on the proliferation and fusion of the myoblasts were examined. The results obtained were as follows: (1) High concentration of embryo extract in the culture medium enhanced the cell proliferation and delayed the fusion of myoblasts. (2) The Sephadex G-75 fractions of embryo extract having proteins of molecular weight between 40,000 and 22,000 enhanced the proliferation and fusion of myoblasts when added to culture media. (3) The fraction of embryo extract precipitated in $60\\sim95%$ saturated ammonium sulfate solution enhanced evidently both the proliferation and fusion of myoblasts. Elution of this effective fraction by Sephadex G-75 showed similar elution profile and effects on the myoblast differentiation as those observed by Sephadex G-75 chromatography of the whole embryo extract, suggesting that the Sephadex fractions and ammonium sulfate fractions contain the same factors that enhance the proliferation and fusion of myoblasts.

  • To investigate the svnthyesis of muscle proteins during differentiation of chicken myoblast, cvtosolic and membrane fractions were used for both sodium dodecvl sulfate polvcrylamide gel eBectrophoresis and two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. An extensive cell fusion was observed in 4 day culture. In the protein pattern of the cvtosolic fraction from SDS-PAGE. several protein bands including 250 kDa and 46 kDa showed remarkable changes during culture. the protein of 46 kDa was the most prominent one ann its optical density was the highest in 5 day culture (OD = 1.30). In the membrane fraction, band of 19.8 kDa showed the highest absorbance with 0.93 OD at 12 hr after initial plating and decreased gradually thereafter to 0.23 in 5 nay culture. From the results of two-dimensional gel electrophoresis of cytosolic fraction, the 46 kDa spot was observed as ko separated forms from culture 2 nary culture, and the sixte of this spot was the largest in 5 nay culture. In the pattern of membrane protein, the extensive appearance of newiv synthesized Proteins was found in a naut culture, but no Prominent spot was observed throughout culture. From the results of the present clay, we found that, during myoblast differentiation, the most prominent proteins were bands of 46 kDa and 19.8 kDa in cvtosolic and membrane fraction, respectively, and the appearance of new proteins was initiated at 48 hr after initial plating, and the 46 kDa protein was predominant in the cytoplasm of late culture in which extensive cell fusion was observed.
