This study aims to examine the problems that transmissions of an intangible cultural heritage in Korea may be cut off because of the public indifference, low demand for it and lack of government funding and seek ways to revitalize an intangible cultural heritage by increasing citizens' awareness of it and demand for it. According to recent studies, many holders of important intangible cultural properties have a difficulty doing because government funding is not enough to make their living and people who want to learn and pass on traditional skills keep decreasing. Many experts say that governments need to increase citizens' awareness of an intangible cultural heritage and demand for it in the long run to solve this problem, but governments focus on improving condition of holders rather than that. On this account, this study criticizes the government's policy and surveys citizens' awareness of an intangible cultural heritage and demand for it and suggests a plan of revitalizing an intangible cultural heritage.

This study was conducted to analyze the relations among nutritional knowledge, nutrional attitude, eating practice and total nutritional diagnosis and also to find the influencing factors of them. The survey was done during the period from April 1990 to June 1990 and the target population were Ewha Womans University students (freshmen and senior) of whom 1,354 peoples were surveyed. The summarized results are as follows ; 1. For the teaming environment, the percentage of completion on nutritional knowledge course was 28.6% and among them the department of foods and nutrition had the highest score(100.0%) and the next was dept. of medicine (53.4%). 2. To find the relation which the nutritional knowledge, nutritional attitude, eating practice and the total nutritional diagnosis influence on one another, the multiple correlation analysis was done. The attitude and the practice were highly correlated with total nutritional diagnosis, but the correlation between nutritional knowledge and total nutrional diagnosis was not significant. The correlation between the practice and nutritional knowledge which were positively and significantly correlated with attitude respectively was positive but not significant. 3. The difference which were analyzed by department, grade and completion on knowledge course on the nutritional knowledge, attitude, eating practice were significant (p<0.01) by ANOVA. 4. The significant variables on nutritional diagnosis are the eating practice points, the grade, the knowledge course, the breakfast and the attitude ($r^2=10.3%$) by multiple regression analysis. This study has the limitation that it did not consider the environmental factors of dietary life such as dietary culture, family environment, cultural habit. Therefore important points of these dietary studies are to extend to the practical nutritional education and dietary improvement for the national health not restricted to the local area or local population.

The experimental group received this program once a week for four weeks and each class lasted one hour. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test and Fisher's exact test with the IBM SPSS Statistics version 21.0 program. Results: After attending the program, cultural competency (t=8.30, p<.001) increased significantly in the experimental group compared to the control group. There were also significant differences between two groups in cultural awareness (t=7.53, p<.001), cultural attitude (t=6.41, p<.001), and cultural knowledge & skills (t=7.79, p<.001) as components of cultural competency. In this study, we tried to represent representative animals in traditional dance and study about cultural symbolic representations that symbolize them, thus meaning Korean worship of animal worship and philosophy of life and discuss the identity of Korean traditional art. This is to ask fundamental questions about Korean culture and art, and to express the cultural philosophical reason for the representation of animal imitation. Therefore, Korean animal imitation dance was able to get a glimpse of Koreans' recognition of artistic value which is reflected in dance beyond simple cultural code. In other words, it was found that not only magic and sexual metaphors but also the adaptive attitude through natural friendly life and the ethical practice in reality were inspired by artistic aesthetics.

It is rare that the dwelling buildings designated as cultural assets owing to the demands of the rapid-changing times and their residences are conserved as their original shapes, though the extent varies. Meanwhile, there has been a continuous effort to preserve and take over our traditional dwelling culture. Yet, the effects were not tangible because the viewpoints are different between the conservation promoters and related residents-officials-experts and because the conservation method is not decided in advance. Thus, in conserving the traditional dwelling culture containing the history of human life, this study tries to find out the reasonable ways for conserving traditional residence based on the consciousness research of citizens on conserving and utilizing the cultural assets. Furthermore this study also tries to suggest to contemporaries - who should live side by side with the historic cultural assets - what attitude they should have. On the basis of above survey, the objective of this study is said to consist in presenting the directions - what efforts are needed - for the more active and participant conservation.
