탑골공원의 문화적 해석 (A Cultural Reading on Tapgol Park)

  • This study seeks to find new strategies for the development of Tapgol Park and to identify Programs to promote this development. In addition, the study specifies the purpose and meaning of these efforts by revealing social aspects not apparent in the physical form of the site, and reading how these aspects influenced the development of Tapgol Park Because the focus of the study lies in reading cultural aspects of the site which have to be understood within the context of their social circumstances, the study drew materials from mass media such as newspapers and literary magazines, which best reflect these social aspects. Interpreting the over 100 you history of Tapgol Park in a cultural context, the study found a meaningful suggestion that such a small urban place located in a city forms a cultural identity in the course of communicating with its surrounding social situations. The change in the identity of Tapgol Park has been sensitive to changing social circumstances rather than the physical structure of the space. The original function of Tapgol Park as a traditional city park has gradually changed towards strengthening social functions, much like the character of an urban plaza. In the process of change the park developed a unique culture. This park culture, however, came not from the original design but from its close interactions with social circumstances changing over time. At the same time, the change in identity seen in Tapgol Park has not been fresh formed. It can be said that the inertia came into light with the potential powers under the place over the long history having been combined into the then social circumstances. In early 2002, the park re-opened, refurbished as one of the relics of the March 1st Movement. Investigating how cultural inertias that have been developing in various forms to date will change and be maintained in this new paradigm is an important assignment for researchers.

Scottish Highland Dress 의 변천에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Scottish Highland Dress)

  • The origin and developing process of Highland Dress as a Scottish national dress has been discussed in this study. Parameters affecting transformation process of Highland Dress from regional to national dress over the modernization period during 19 C was analyzed and compared by sociological aspect. Anthony Giddenss social change was applied and divided into three main factors such as political , economic and cultural analysis. The basic requirement of the theory of social change is visual recognization of any cultural changes. Highland Dress as a Scottish national dress has established during modernization in Europe within short period(18C -early 20C) and the Highland tartan as a military dress was transformed to be a civilian dress during 19-20 C. It shows social changes affecting on costume pattern and eventually costume in particular time could be an indicator of social changed. Throughout the study of the functional role of costume in Scotland is able to clarify the understanding of acculturation phenomenon through cultural, political and economic changes.

농업·농촌의 사회·문화적 기능 가치 평가 (Assessing Economic Value of Social-cultural Function of Korean Agriculture)

  • Although the demand and awareness of public regarding social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas would increase recently, the sustainability of them has continuously decreased. To derive policy directions for improvements of social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas, This study analyzed willingness to pay for social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas and its determinants by uisng contigent valuation method. The results show that the willingness to pay for social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas is positively affected by awareness of the importance of agriculture, interest in problems regarding agriculture in Korea, awareness of social functions of agriculture, and experience in rural life. These results would imply that policies for the improvement of public awareness and experiences increase the value of social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas. In addition, the results imply that more diverse education programs and activities are required in order to change awareness of future generations in response to decreases in population having experiences in agriculture and rural life due to urbanization. Lastly, the results show that the average willingness to pay for social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas is about 35,600 won, and total willingness to pay for social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas is about 998.3 billion won. This is much larger than the government budget on enhancement of social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas in 2019. This difference between government budget and the total willingness to pay implies that Korean government would be required more positive policies to maintain and enhance social-cultural functions of agriculture and rural areas.

  • As a model house has attempted a role change from a conceptual perspective as a housing cultural center starting from the 90ties, it began to direct the change into a high end building. In particular, large construction companies have recently invested on an unimagined scale, unlike in the past, in building a model house and pursued the construction of new attractions of cities as well as the upgrade of a brand image by hiring and implementing the designs of celebrity architects or designers. In addition, they have been in pursuit of a change by enhancing the satisfaction and pride of residents by offering spaces and programs for various cultural arts for apartment residents or potential customers and having them participate in those programs. This study aims to expound on the possibility of the utilization of a housing cultural center as a local complex community center by analyzing the spatial organization and the operational program of a housing cultural center appearing since the 90ties. With this aim, the study analyzed the cases of a complex community center and the program and the operational method of a housing cultural center within the case study in order to propose the possibilities for the utilization of a local complex community center. The elevation of the cultural and economic level of citizens and a rapid social change are shown as various demands for welfare, and the subsequent social physical change has led to the expansion of a space as a complex community. A housing cultural center is also directed to grow as a complex community center from the perspective of diverse demands and participations of consumers, and prepares a field for a broad spectrum of communications from the perspective of housing and cities.

문화마케팅을 위한 주택문화관의 트렌드 변화에 관한 연구 (A study on the trend change of Housing Cultural Center for cultural marketing)

  • Recently major construction companies are building Housing Cultural Center instead of existing model house or housing gallery for accomplishing new marketing strategy. This Housing Cultural Center are different with existing model house or housing gallery on scale, spacial composition and operating program. And Background of differentiation is caused by change of housing market's environment, consumer's awareness level, service and marketing strategy. Because existing model house or housing gallery can not supply various consumer's needs and change of awareness level. Therefore, recent Housing Cultural Center is focused on cultural marketing for rapidly adjusting to new customer's need, including new customer acquisition and old customer retention. In accordance with this situation, it is very important to analyze out type and trend of Housing Cultural Center as facility for enlargement of cultural service and companies's social role for consumer. Therefore, the purpose of this study is an analysis about the trend of Housing Cultural Center as cultural space and a presentation of concept, function and direction when other construction companies build Housing Cultural Center hereafter.

효규범에 대한 사적인 고찰 -호혜성 및 공정성을 중심으로- (Historical Review on Filial Piety Norm -focus on Reciprocity and Fairness-)

  • The purpose of this study is to interpretate filial piety norm based on reciprocity and fairness. For this goal, we reviewed literature related to social, economical, and cultural situations, centered on the middle of the seventeenth century. The major results can be summerized as follow: The interaction between the parent generation and the married adult children generation changed according to the context of particular social, economical, and cultural conditions, so filial piety norm must also change paced along with social change. Therefore, the concepts of reciprocity and fairness has been an important one which maintains the quality of the relationship between the parent generation and the married adult children generation. So in general, we think it is reasonable to draw the conclusion that there are reciprocity and fairness principle between the parent generation and the married adult children generation.

글로컬라이제이션 시대의 문화변동과 지역발전: 문화콘텐츠를 중심으로 (Cultural Change and Regional Development in the age of Glocalization: Focused on Cultural Contents)

  • 본 논문은 지역의 역사적인 맥락을 중심으로 인지문화경제의 발전으로 이어지는 궤적을 살펴보고, 이에 따른 공간적 변화 및 문화 사회적 변동을 '글로컬라이제이션'이라는 주제로 관찰하고 함의점을 알아보고자 한다. 이때 특히 최근 창조경제에서 중요한 '문화콘텐츠'분야에 집중하고자 한다. 오늘날 대두되고 있는 '창조성'은 이미 오래전부터 공간 경제 사회문화적인 변화의 관련성과 깊은 연관을 맺어왔다고 할 수 있으며, 이것이 '인지문화경제'라고 하는 새로운 경제체제로 변화하기 시작했다고 할 수 있다. 이는 경제지리와 지역발전에 깊은 영향을 미치게 되며, 특히, 지역발전을 주도하게 된다. 이러한 맥락에 따른 문화변동의 특징은 재현과 이미지의 해석 등 추상적인 담론에서, 지역단위에서 실제적으로 일어나는 프로젝트로 등으로 대변하게 되며 보다 구체적인 특징을 지니게 된다. 더 나아가 글로컬라이제이션 시대의 지역발전의 가능성은 한류와 같은 문화콘텐츠를 통해 확인할 수 있다. SNS 등과 같은 현대 미디어의 환경은 서로 소통하는 공간의 기능뿐만 아니라 로컬 단위의 콘텐츠를 전 세계로 확대할 수 있는 역할을 담당하면서 공간을 확대시키고 있다. 향후 글로컬 콘텐츠의 보다 높은 가능성을 위해 공간과 지역의 연계 강조, 다양한 주체들의 유기적인 연계와 활성화, 로컬 단위의 발전성을 담보하기 위한 인프라 구축 등의 주기적인 노력이 수반되어야 할 것이다.

  • 본 연구는 제천시의 다문화 가족을 중심으로 포지셔닝에 대한 사회적 위치 변화에 어떤 요인이 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 또한, 본 연구의 목적은 제천시의 다문화 가족의 사회적 위치, 사회적 인식의 영향에 따라 정책설계를 분석하며, 1990년부터 2013년까지 뉴스기사, 인터뷰를 분석한 질적분석 방법을 수행하였다. 시간범위는 1990년대 다문화가정의 태동기, 2000~2005년 다문화가정의 양적 성장기, 2006~2011년의 다문화가정의 질적 성장기, 다문화 가정의 2012년 이후의 다문화가정의 반감기 시기로 구분하여 분석 할 수 있다.

  • This study looks into the change of the concept of museum and the programs as well from sociocultural point of view Since the very beginning in history, the museum has been a place to educate people with diverse evidences regarding on the human history by preserving legacies of the past. Throughout the long history, the concept of museum and its programs have been revised in accordance with social changes. Consequently, these changes brought the transformation of museums' roles nowadays. The reason is the public in diverse society are so accustomed to stimulus and dynamic cultural changes has induced those change in some senses. The study points that the variation of museum programs are to be developed and museum marketing strategies including global management of art museums should seriously be considered. It also brings new form of museum architecture. The concept of revitalizing museum can expand the band of public and provide them opportunities a place for various cultural activities which can lead a new trend in this society.

헤르만 헤르츠버거의 문화공간에 나타난 공공성 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on the implementation of public in Herman Hertzberger's cultural space)

  • Recent studies show that social networking within community is becoming more valuable than individualism, and many discussions of importance of social networking are taking place. In architectural term, the ultimate goal of designing public community space is to increase retention of people. Retention of people, in other words, making people "Stay Longer" is not exactly same as "The purpose of Public Community Space", but it is one of the most effective methods to increase retention of people. An attempt of increasing retention of user through offering public community space suggests a significant change in spatial composition of Herman Hertzberger's cultural space as they are becoming a new social interaction trend. This study aims to analyze architectural progress for the implementation of public of Herman Hertzberger's cultural project. Access. The Characteristics of public community space used in cultural space were extracted and organized into the systemized elements. The systemized elements are comfort, connect, continuity, sphere, transition, and abide. Also, the extracted elements were activated Herman Hertzberger's cultural space and processed the his architectural characteristics.
