본 연구는 서울 올림픽공원과 북경 올림픽공원을 대상으로 한 중의 현대조경설계에서 전통문화의 접근방법을 밝혀보고자 하였다. 이론적 고찰과 연구대상지의 전통문화의 이용방법을 분석한 결과, 현대조경설계에서 전통문화에 접근하는 방법은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 깊이 있는 전통문화의 이해가 필요하다. 대규모 조경설계의 경우 많은 경우 자기나라의 고유 특성을 표현해야 하므로 자국을 대표할 수 있는 문화를 잘 알아야한다. 이런 문화는 모든 사람들이 공유할만한 가치를 지닌, 세계에 보여줄 수 있는 문화들이다. 둘째, 전통문화와 향토지식을 존중한다. 전통문화와 향토지식을 존중하고 전통적인 경험을 받아들인다. 생활환경에서 정신적 영향을 받기 때문에 자신의 환경에 대해 인지하는 것이 외지인이 아는 것보다 더 심오한 깊이를 가진다. 그래서 설계시 현지인과 문화전통에 대해 진지하게 생각해야 한다. 또한 합리적으로 지역적 환경을 이용하고, 입지의 자연조건에 순응해야 한다. 입지외의 생태요소는 입지에 대해 직접적인 영향과 작용을 주므로 설계는 입지만을 고려해서는 안 된다. 위의 내용을 구현하는 방법은 대체적으로 네 가지가 있는데 보존, 재현, 모방, 반영으로 구분되어진다.

Object of this study presents marketing of new market segmentation as what I classify a social stratum, and analyze sense of value about each social class clothes and a taste, but is. The study way used a questionnaire as an investigation study way, and I did execution from September to October in 1999, and the investigation object picked up an any table with the woman university student who lived in Seoul and did investigation, and analysis targeted total 550 people. I used a measurement item of economic capital and cultural capital as a classification item of a social stratum and selected a dwelling, a kind of property, an annual salary of parents as an index of economic capital. Presentation held an occupation of parents, scholarship, culture activity as an index of cultural capital. It is social stratum structure an occupation arranges in 12 job categories by, for your reference, I do a social orbit of the P. Bourdieu which is a French sociologist and an index of inheritance cultural capital, and having set up eight phases of evaluation, and to do a Y, Cultural Capital with X with economic capital. Sense of value about clothes and attitude selected social value, aesthetic appreciation enemy value, authority a few value in sense of value of the 6 type that E. Spranger(1922) presented, and a proposal did type in 3 about clothes. The measurement way used a 11 question item and measured I with five phases of Likert-type criteria and executed factors analysis by main ingredient analysis and varimax revolution law. I named a more than inherent 1 with the liver which was social man, aesthetic appreciation enemy man, an authority enemy with a basis. The results are as follows : People of the group which they belong to the same social class, and there is have a similar taste and select a similar product, and scholarship and an occupation of parents please lay a taste of children and sense of value, a hierarchical difference of attitude too and do it.

본 연구에서는 지난 25년간 우리나라에서 수행되어진 채색문화재 안료분석 및 복원과 관련한 중요연구들을 짚어보고자, 학술논문을 중심으로 연구 동향을 조사하였다. 그간 우리나라에서 분석된 채색문화재는 100여점이 넘으며, 축적된 분석데이터들에 대한 비교고찰이 이뤄지고 있는 추세이다. 또한, 기존 분석기술의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 새로운 분석기술 적용과 분석데이터 DB구축이 수행되고 있으며, 전통안료에 대한 재현 복원 노력도 꾸준히 연구로 이어지고 있다. 이제는 기존의 많은 연구 데이터들을 종합하고, 진단하여 부족한 부분을 보완할 수 있는 연구가 진행되어야 할 때이며, 이를 위하여 여러 기관의 연구자들이 필요성을 인식하고 동참하여야 한다. 또한 환경영향연구와 같이 지속적이고, 꾸준한 연구가 필요한 분야에 대해서는 지금보다는 장기적인 안목으로 끈기 있게 기다릴 수 있는 연구가 기획되어야 할 것이다.

최근 중요유물의 가치를 제고하고 일반인의 이해를 돕기 위한 방법으로 복제품을 전시하는 경우가 많아지고 있다. 우리나라에서 유물복제는 외형에만 치중한 복원 복제 방법으로 많이 이루어지고 있다. 복제품, 유물복원이 증대하고 있는 상황에서 유물에 손상을 최소화하고 조형물처럼 커다란 유물에도 적용 가능한 복원기술의 연구가 필요하다. 월정교 출토 사자상 복원을 위한 모본 제작은 미술사적 조사를 바탕으로 3차원 스캔을 활용한 실측도와 단면도를 만들었고 이를 기초로 비접촉식 복제방법을 선택하였다. 비접촉식 방법의 장점은 정밀한 결과물도 얻을 수 있는 것이다. 일반적으로 비접촉식 방법일 경우 소형 유물에만 적용 가능하고 추가적인 재처리 등의 문제점이 있는 것으로 알려져 있으나 금번 연구대상인 사자상 같은 조형물에도 정밀하게 적용 가능함을 발견할 수 있었다. 따라서 이 연구는 월정교 출토 사자상의 학술적 가치를 제고하는 한편 사자상의 형태를 이용한 복원을 통해 복원된 월정교의 역사적 진정성을 보완하는 의미가 있으며, 유사 유물의 복제와 복원에 관하여 연구 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

the purpose of this study is to investigate (1) the real life of urban employed husbands and their wives(2) the balance between labor force reproduction and the labor force consumption(3) and the share of family responsibility by analysis patterns of their time use. Data for 227 couples were gatherd from using structured questionnaire and time diary. (1) Because of Husbands' long labor time and employed wives' roleoverload their social-cultural time is too short which means the pattern of their time use are very unbalanced type. (2) Regardless of wives' employment status husbands' housework time is too short which means that family responsibility is scarcely shared.

An interesting bacterium (#271) was isolated from the abyssal plain of the Sigsbee Deep of the Gulf of Mexico. The organism exhibits marked polymorphism (baciloid, coryneform and myceloid morphologies) in response to certain cultural conditions. the organism has been observed undergoing reproduction by transverse fission, fragmentation and arthrospore production. The presence of arthrospores indicates the bacterium is a member of the genus Arthrobacter; however, computed affinity coefficients do not confirm this genus. Until further studies have been completed on this isolate the authors are reluctant to place it in a generic group.

The meaning of images are changed rapidly by a time, and the images' social function and skills are different by times. Nowadays, the reasons to have different meanings of images are the different ways of representation and reproduction of images by new digital technologies. However, the images are communicating with each other, and the image makers should have responsibility to represent the images. Also, the images should be concerned in social, cultural context, and focused on positive ways to represent. It is hard to predict the future of images, but people shouldn't be controled by manipulated digital images. Therefore, image makers need to have right ethics and morals in digital era not to be controled by commercial enterprises.

1899년에 철도가 부설된 이후 철도관련시설은 근대화의 상징이다. 그러나 증기기관차의 운행이 중단된 후 급수탑은 방치된 시설이었다. 근대문화유산의 가치를 살린 급수탑 주변 요소에 따른 활성화 방안은 다음과 같다. 1)근대사의 현장성과 예술 작품의 배경 지역을 이용 2)주변 장소와 연계한 공원화 3)산업유산의 전시시설 4)지역의 역사유적 5)급수설비의 재생이 필요하다. 지방 자치단체의 기획 단계부터 전문가 집단의 조언과 지역주민의 활발한 참여가 필요하며, 급수탑 활성화가 도시정비차원에서 이루어져야 한다.

The purpose of this dissertation is to interpret fashion through a socio-cultural phenomenon called kitsch by understanding its aesthetic characteristics and clarifying its significance in the modern consumer society and analyzing the examples of kitsch appearing in modern fashion. The following are the arguments and conclusion of this dissertation. First kitsch has negative meanings such as aesthetic inadequacy or bad tastes implying vulgar popular tastes of faked sensations just imitating elite culture and using things indiscriminately for inferior reproduction or at best the philosophical and aesthetic category that expresses the mass of people's attitudes toward life in accepting the consumer culture of the industrial society. It started from the art of romanticism accompanied by th commercializing of art with the bourgeois society background formed in the mid-19th century. Though kitsch started to prevail following the socio-cultural changes caused by the Industrial Revolution in the 19th century it is only in the late 20th century that kitsch has come tc our everyday life and has become an object of aesthetic arguments. Second formative characteristics of kitsch appearin in fashion have a cumulative inadequate romantic pleasure-seeking satirizing and multicomplex nature. Third the socio-cultural meanings of kitsch appearing in fashion are as follows: The extension of commercialism which gratifies the pleasure-seeking mass consumers the enlargement of the aesthetic category by inclining to everyday commonplace aesthetic sense the expression of one's identity through the gratification of desire and the new aesthetics of resistance and deviance by an anti-traditional and anti-elite tendency towards the traditional society and aesthetic values.

Over the last three decades, the field of American Studies has increasingly paid attention to transnational approaches in an effort to diversify and expand the field's concerns beyond the narrow sense of the nation-state in today's globalizing world. Yet, the mediation of the transnational requires a careful analysis of the nation that is still in transit. In this context, this essay examines Herman Melville's novel Moby-Dick (1851) as a case study that vividly shows how reading American literature and culture through transnationalism not only offers new interpretations of canonical texts, but also helps us to better understand the historical roots and cultural contexts of contemporary issues such as global labor and migration, US citizenship and racial justice. To address the complexity of the text's circulation and reproduction, coupled with US national ideology and cultural conditions, I first turn to the canonization of Melville's Moby-Dick during the Cold War era as a national project and then explore the possibilities of transnational readings by focusing on the politics of race and global capitalism in the nineteenth century whaling industry. In doing so, I argue that critical transnationalism allows readers to keep questioning about their own understanding of race, nation, and cultural identity while remaining attentive to the destructive force of US imperialism and global capitalism in the twenty-first century.
