Sung Yung Shin was adopted as a Korean infant to an American family. She is now one of the most important writers in Asian American literary field. This paper analyzes the characteristics of her literature, focusing on Skirt full of Black (poetry)and Cooper's Lesson(children's book). Sun Yung Shin uses collage in Skirt full of Black as an effective rhetorical device because it can express her experience as an adopted other in the multicultural American society. She rewrites the fairy tale of Swan Prince in the viewpoint of silence. For a yellow Asian adopted woman, speaking is suppressed. In the end, the attempt to escape from silence is the writer's resisting activity, and the rewriting of the tale is her questioning in place of the princess. I analyses Cooper's Lesson in the viewpoint of transcultural assimilation. Cooper's lesson is accomplished not by his white father but by a Korean settler, Mr. Lee. Cooper's family is a hybrid composed of white American father, Korean mother, and their half son. So this family has many complicated difficulties, though it's small. Mr. Lee who accepted a new language to establish a new identity teaches Cooper the importance of cultural assimilation, which is not a one-sided integration to dominant culture but an intercultural communion while sustaining each culture's singularity. Cooper learns that he should live in an harmonious and balanced life in a multi-cultural society while keeping his own subjective point of view.

Tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS)로 형성된 gel의 film 형성 특성을 증가시키기 위하여 (3-glycidyloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane (GPTMS)와 1,2-bis(triethoxysilyl)ethane (BTEOS)를 추가한 유기-무기 복합 용액을 제조하였다. 화강암과 사암에 적용한 후, 접촉 각 및 고형화 시간, silicate의 함유량, 수분 흡수율 및 석재에 적용되었을 때의 공극률 변화를 측정하여 silicate를 기본으로 하는 복합제의 특성을 분석하였다.

단옥수수의 적정재식밀도를 구명하기 위하여 1982년 수원에서 간생 교잡종인 Golden Elite 70을 간기 및 보통기재배로 4수준의 재식밀도(4,500, 5.500, 6,500, 7,500본/10a)에서 재배한 후 생육 및 수량을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 조기재배보다 보통기재배에서 간장, 착수고, 이삭크기 등은 컸으나 이삭수는 적었고 10a당 이삭무게는 비숫하였다. 2. 재배유형과 재식밀도의 상호작용은 이삭길이를 제외한 다른 수량구성요소 및 수량 등의 형질에서 5％ 수준에서는 유의하지 않았다. 3. 재식밀도간 출사기, 간장. 착수고, 이삭크기는 차이가 없거나 일정한 경향이 없었고 개체당 이삭수는 밀식 할수록 감소되었다. 4. 10a당 이삭수와 이삭무게는 10a 당 6,500본까지는 밀식할수록 증가되었으나 그 이상 밀식할 경우 감소되었다. 5. 따라서 단옥수수의 적정재식밀도는 재배유형에 관계없이 10a당 6,500본 정도가 알맞은 것으로 생각된다.

In this paper, I will explore disparate voices embedded in the interactions of stories in which personal, cultural, historical, and mythical consciousness brings up diverse ideas about the experiences of Native Americans. The accommodation of differences and changes is clearly manifested through the healing ceremony of Tayo, which poses some practical questions: what could be the authentic tradition of Native Americans?; which direction should it be led to? As these questions suggest, Tayo needs to think over and work through the way that Native oral stories will enrich the signification of being Indian within multicultural U. S. society. In other words, Tayo should transfer the oppositional relationship between Anglo and Native American world into an interactive one to bring forth new meanings concerning their interactions. As a hybrid, Tayo begins to recognize that his fragmented consciousness could represent the pervasive but surmountable anxiety about the cultural clash between Native and White Americans. Going through the multiple layers of his stories, Tayo learns that Native Americans need to hold a balanced viewpoint firmly: this demonstrates that storytelling brings restoration and renewal to him. As a result of Betonie's healing ceremony and his intimate relationship with Ts'eh, Tayo comes to have a holistic comprehension about how all the living things are interconnected to one another. After acquiring this recognition, Tayo succeeds in his quest to get back Josiah's cattle and recovers his identity as a Laguna Pueblo Indian, still letting diverse voices, cultures, and stories flow into the process of storytelling. As the last scene in which the conversations among Tayo, Auntie, and Grandmother took place illustrates, Tayo has newly secured a position that will require him to create a new, alternative story, not just repeating previous stories.

아시아를 중심으로 한 크루즈산업은 매년 관광객의 지속적인 증가로 인하여 급성장하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 아시아의 대표 항만 도시들 간에는 크루즈 관광객 및 크루즈선사를 유치하기 위하여 심한 경쟁을 하고 있는 실정이다. 한국도 예외는 아니며 부산을 중심으로 크루즈산업을 성장시키기 위하여 많은 노력들이 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문의 목적은 부산을 Hybrid항만 도시로서의 발전 가능성을 분석하였고 이를 위하여 크루즈 이용객을 국적별로 분류하여 부산에 대한 기대치와 만족도를 통하여 새로운 전략을 모색하였다. 위의 분석을 위하여 탐색적 요인분석과 IPA가 사용되었다. 부산이 크루즈 중심지로 발전하기 위해 우선적으로 개선이 필요한 요인은 다양한 관광옵션, 독특한 경험, 직접 서비스 인프라, 관광매력도, 타 교통수단과의 연계성, 관광명소와의 연계성으로 분석되었다. 부산이 동북아 경쟁 항만들을 뛰어넘는 세계적인 크루즈 중심지로 발전시키기 위해서는 지속적으로 다양한 관광상품 개발 및 차별화된 체험형 상품 개발이 시급하며 국제공항의 활성화 및 다양한 항공노선 확장을 통하여 Fly & Cruise 연계상품 개발에 주력해야한다. 또한 부산을 대표할 수 있는 국제적인 페스티벌을 유치하여 잠재적 승객 유치가 필요한 것으로 분석되었으며 크루즈 터미널의 재개발을 통한 상업적 문화공간 확충이 절실한 것으로 분석되었다.

Three different male-sterile cytoplasmic lines and their common maintainer 'Zhenshan 97B' and two elite restorer lines were used to study cytoplasmic effects on agronomic trait manifestation per se under different nitrogen supply levels. The result showed that cytoplasmic effects could be modified by nitrogen environments. The cytoplasmic effect on grain yield under 150 kg N/ha varied depending on crosses, while it was significantly negative in most crosses under both 60 and 330 kg N/ha. The correlation and path-coefficient analyses suggested that it was expected to improve cytoplasmic effects through reducing maximum tillers and increasing the percentage of productive tillers, leading to increased productive tillers and higher yield in hybrid rice by the aid of cultural practice and genetic transformation. This study also revealed that the same cytoplasm in different combinations had differential effect under the same nitrogen environment, indicating that cytoplasmic effect was produced by interaction of nuclear genes with cytoplasm rather than cytoplasm per se. These results indicated the usefulness of evaluating diverse cytoplasmic sources in various nuclear genotypes bred for hybrid rice breeding program. The finding also suggested that negative cytoplasmic effect could be effectively overcome by elite restorer lines through the interaction of nuclear genes with female cytoplasm.

표고(Lentinula edodes)는 우리나라의 주요 임산버섯으로 최근 표고 톱밥재배가 정착됨에 따라 급속도로 확산되고 있으나 국내 환경에 적합하고 재배시기를 다변화 할 수 있는 균주의 육성이 시급하다. 따라서 9개의 균주를 시험재배하여 생산성이 높고 자실체 특성이 우수한 4개 균주(SANJO701HO, FMRI2534, FMRI2337, FMRI2613)를 모균주로 선발하였고 균주당 각각 20개씩 총 80개의 단핵균주를 분리하여 117개의 교배균주를 육성하였다. 그중 산조701호와 FMRI2337의 교배조합이 다른 조합의 교배균주들보다 평균생장속도가 10% 가량 낮았으며 이들 교배균주의 배양 및 생리적 특성을 비교 조사하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 우수한 톱밥재배용 품종개발의 기반조성을 마련하고자 하였으며, 차후 교배균주에 대한 생산성 검정의 연구가 필요하다.
