Several full mission simulators have been installed since about 10 years ago in Korea. The newly established Marine Simulation Training and Research Center at Korea Maritime University has played a key role for education and training of both cadets and in-service officers trainees, and for research on Korea ports such as Jeju international cruise port, Ulsan SBM and Kwangyang container port and many others. This study mainly focuses maritime education and training on the ship handling simulation and the bridge resource management conducted by Korea Maritime University.

Since accommodation, public space and service areas where people stay for all day occupy about 70% of a huge cruise ship, they have to be protected from the fire. International Maritime Organization has resolved that a water mist system should be equipped in this cruise ship according to SOLAS II-2 Reg. 10.6 and FSS code Ch. 7. The water mist system consists of mist nozzles, pressure vessels, section valves and pump unit etc. In particular, the water mist nozzles should be recognized by fire tests in accordance with IMO Res. MSC 265(84). In this study, the fire tests for cabin, corridor, public space and storage area have been conducted to develop the water mist nozzles appropriate to the regulation. Totally 5 types of nozzles were developed and have satisfied the whole performance requirements.

The present study is concept research on the operation cost management of shipping firms, especially considering technology for economical ship operation of existing ships in units of voyage. The factors that influence economical ship operation management were identified by analyzing the current status of the shipping industry, the development of economical ship operation technologies, technological requirements, and the cost factors of ship operation. Economical operation of existing ships, especially, the economical operation of the units of each voyage, may minimize fuel cost and port charges. This requires low-load streaming cruise control, ballast control, optimal trim, optimal routing, terminal work efficiency improvement, and ship energy management. Optimal routing and terminal work efficiency improvement manage the time saved. To determine the low-load streaming, cruise control, ballast control, optimal trim and ship energy management are meeting the recommendations.

As a result, be far removed from information age. Currently, ship is connected with the outside world via satellite on the voyage. But, because high billing, ship is possible data transfer using low speed bandwidth. Because ship is not possible using LAN, only limit ship's crew some use internet in limited space. So, ship is required construction of the network. In this paper, because composition of basic IT environment with information need of crew and customer from ship to cruises, there construct LAN in ship and propose network design for network of ship.

As the amount of the wireless mobile products like a 'Smart phone' used increases, the studies about the Location Based Service (LBS) is highly increasing. Outdoor location determination can use the GPS which is built-in in the wireless mobile products. However, it is not possible to use GPS inside the huge cruise bigger than a normal building, it is regarded to consider Indoor location determination which is appropriate at the inside environment. Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) does not need an extra installation process because it is already installed here and there inside the building. In this respect, Wi-Fi has low price competitiveness compared to other wireless sensor products. In this paper, I will introduce 'Bayesian Algorithm' which can recognize useful space with Wi-Fi signal.

This study is to analyze the structure of the networks of tourism marketing on Twitter, identifying the most prominent users, the flow of information about tourism marketing, and the interaction between the users posting tweets. This study employs NodeXL pro as a visualization software package for social network analysis. The number of vertices or nodes is 171, and the number of the unique edges or links is 128, but there are 101 edges with duplicates, so the total links are 229, which means that there are fewer Twitter accounts in the social network on tourism marketing, but they have a few close relationships by sharing information. The research can map the social network of communicators of tourism marketing using Twitter data. The network has a complicated pattern, including one independent network and some connected networks. Some mediators connect each network and can control the information flow of tourism marketing. More communicators are getting the information than the ones providing it, which means that there is likely to be the dependence of information among communicators that can cause an obstacle and distortion of the information flow system, especially in the independent network.

As the high speed rail to be opened at 2004, the. railroad will dominate over the transportation market in the Seoul-Busan corridor compared to road transport. But, it is obvious that the LOS(level of service) of railroad at 2004 will be worse in the areas that are not served KTX. For the speed-up of conventional line, it is a worldwide trend that tilting trains are served on the conventional railway line. That is the reason serving tilting trains is very efficient to use existing facilities and improve cruise time when capacity is available. In this paper, we suggest 10 routes are replaced with present operating trains(saemaeul, mugunghwa) by the tilting train.

Arrival management is a tool which provides efficient flow of traffic and reduces ATC workload by determining aircraft's sequence and schedules while they are in cruise phase. As a decision support tool, arrival management should advise on air traffic control service based on the understanding of human factor of its user, air traffic controller. This paper proposed a prediction model for air traffic controller sequencing strategy by analyzing the historical trajectory data. Statistical analysis is used to find how air traffic controller decides the sequence of aircraft based on the speed difference and the airspace entering time difference of aircraft. Logistic regression was applied for the proposed model and its performance was demonstrated through the comparison of the real operational data.

This study is a study on the effect of university students' entrepreneurship education service quality on educational satisfaction and entrepreneurship intention. Although various entrepreneurship education is being operated at universities, there is not much research on entrepreneurial intentions. In this study, in order to analyze the factors for increasing the entrepreneurial intention, the effect of the service quality of entrepreneurship education on educational satisfaction and entrepreneurial intention was examined. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, questionnaires were distributed to university students in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and statistical analysis of 298 questionnaires that were faithfully answered was conducted using SPSS 22. TA is a result of multiple regression analysis on the effect of start-up education service quality on educational satisfaction, tangibility, responsiveness, certainty, and empathy had a significant effect, but reliability did not have a significant effect, and educational satisfaction had a significant effect on entrepreneurship intention. Recently, start-up businesses in Korea have been revitalized, and various programs such as start-up education, start-up support policies, and commercialization support are emerging. Since the quality of educational service for start-up at universities affects the will to start a business, service quality capabilities should be strengthened to increase educational satisfaction.
