군집분석을 이용한 아동의 창의적 사고유형 분석 (An Analysis of Children's Creative Thinking Styles According to Cluster Analysis)

  • This study explored the creative thinking styles of children according to cluster analysis and examined group differences in the gender of children. The participants consisted of 250 elementary school students living in Seoul, Korea. Data were analyzed by means of cluster analysis and ${\chi}^2$ test. The results from the cluster analysis based on the scores on the sub-factors of TTCT(Torrance Test of Creative Thinking) suggested the existence of four clusters('Non-creative', 'Divergent creative', 'Elaborate creative, 'Multiple creative'). Additionally, four clusters were found to be differentiated according to gender.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the expression characteristics of creative fashion illustration based on the theory of creativity by using the conceptual ideas related to visual expression in the theory of creativity of R. Bernstein. The contents of the study were theoretical basis of creativity theory and R. Bernstein's creative thinking tool. A specific checklist applying 13 creative thinking tools was developed to analyze individual cases and characteristics of creative thinking tools applied to visual arts and fashion illustrations. As a result, the application of a creative thinking method by the utilization, transformation and integration of R. Bernstein's thought tool yielded creative thinking about fashion illustration and the value of improvement creativity that can expand expression areas.

Creative Industries in Germany - Recent Development and the Role of Science and Technology Parks

  • The paper deals with the emergence of creative industries in Germany in the last decade and points out the recent development of creative industries at examples from different sub-segments. Recent national and regional policies are reflected and the importance of creative industries in relation to other economic branches will be discussed. Key factors for the development of creative industries are highlighted based on a literature review and a compilation of several empirical research studies. The paper points out the role of Science & Technology Parks for the development and further development of creative industries, based on German experiences. Finally, the conclusion deals with some ideas to facilitate the impact of Science and Technology Parks on creative industries in Germany.

창조도시 담론의 비판 : 생성의 로컬리티 탐색 (Critical Study on the Discourses of Creative City : Becoming Locality as an Alternative Thinking and Practice)

  • 창조도시 담론이 서구 자본주의 국가를 중심으로 진행된 세계화 혹은 탈산업화 사회 속에서 도시 발전 혹은 재생을 위한 정책수단으로 활용됨에 따라 다양한 논의가 진행되고 있다. 현실적으로 세계의 많은 국가의 도시들이 창조도시에 관한 충분한 검토를 결여한 채 도시 발전 혹은 재생 정책으로 채택하여 실천하고 있다. 본 연구는 창조도시, 특히 창조산업과 창조계급에 관한 문헌을 비판적으로 검토한 뒤 새로운 틀로 생성의 로컬리티를 제시하고자 한다. 이 틀은 창조성 혹은 창조도시와 관련된 문화 예술, 창조 행위자, 장소에 토대를 두고 있으며, 기존의 창조도시 논의를 생성하는 로컬리티 측면에서 새롭게 해석하고 나아가 도시 및 지역이 직면한 현실 문제들을 해결하는 데 도움을 줄 것이다. 생성의 로컬리티로서 창조도시는 세 가지 요소가 지속적으로 상호작용하는 관계 속에서 존재한다. 향후 제시된 틀은 다양한 창조도시 이론의 비판적 검토와 사례 연구를 통해 보완되고 정교화될 필요성이 있다.

창조도시와 창조계급: 개념적 논제들과 비판 (Creative City and Creative Class: Conceptual Issues and Critiques)

  • 창조도시 이론은 기본적으로 탈산업화 과정 속에서 '문화적 전환'에 따른 경제환경의 변화와 사회공간적 재구성간 관계를 반영한 이론이다. 이 논문은 우선 창조도시 이론의 발달 배경으로서 지식기반경제 또는 문화경제의 접근방법들을 고찰하고, 창조도시의 개념화에서 구분되는 유형들을 제시한다. 그리고 이 논문은 이러한 창조도시 이론을 직접 논의한 국내외 연구 동향에서 비판적 관점들을 정리하고, 이의 함의를 신자유주의와 관련시켜 비판적으로 고찰하고자 한다. 끝으로 이 논문은 창조성 또는 창조경제의 사회적 구성으로서 창조계급과 공간적 구성으로서 창조도시에 관한 개념적 논제들을 비판적으로 논의한다. 창조계급의 개념은 '계급' 개념과 범위의 모호성, 계급-편향성과 경제 특권적 사고, 상품화 또는 시장 가치화의 촉진, 탈공동체적 개체화, 유연적 노동시장의 규범화, 도시 경제의 성공 여부에 대한 불확실성 등의 문제 또는 한계를 가지는 것으로 지적된다. 창조도시의 개념은 (대)도시에 한정된 관심, 국가적 및 지구적 차원 무시, 탈맥락적 규범적 전망, 신자유주의적 도시의 정당화, 창조계급 유치 및 경제 발전과의 인과성 입증 부족, 도시 및 국토 공간의 양극화 심화 등의 문제 또는 한계를 가지는 것으로 지적된다.

국가산업단지의 창조클러스터화를 위한 발전방안 우선순위 도출: 구미국가산업단지를 대상으로 (A Study of the Criticality and The Priority for Developing Creative Cluster of The National Industrial Complex - For the Gumi National Industrial Complex)

  • 최근 글로벌 경제위기와 저성장기조의 장기화로 많은 국가에서 경제성장을 위한 중요정책으로 창조경제를 제시하고 있다. 우리나라도 핵심 정책으로 창조경제를 통한 창조산업 육성과 창업활성화, 일자리 창출 등을 주요 정책으로 추진하고 있다. 그러나 국가마다 창조경제에 대한 정의와 추진하는 세부분야가 상이하며, 국가산업단지의 창조경제 및 창조산업 활성화 방안에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 70년대 이후 국가경제에서 중요한 축을 담당하고 있는 구미국가산업단지를 중심으로 창조클러스터로 발전하기 위한 발전방안의 우선순위 및 중요도를 AHP분석을 통해 도출하였다. 분석결과 창조성 촉진 요인이 우선순위가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 창조인프라, 창조네트워크 순으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 국가산업단지가 국가경제를 지속적으로 견인하기 위해서는 창조성을 촉진하여야 하며, 이를 위해서 창조적 인재양성과 창조적 R&D의 확대가 우선하여야 한다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구는 국가산업단지를 창조클러스터로 발전시키기 위한 방안을 인프라 등의 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 정책 모두를 반영하여 우선순위를 도출함으로써 정부 및 지역 정책입안자들과 혁신기관에게 성공적인 창조클러스터 구축을 위한 기초자료와 실질적인 정책 가이드로 활용될 수 있다.

창의적 의복소비행동에 대한 실행연구 (An Action Research on Creative Clothing Consumption Behavior)

  • This study investigated how experience of creative dressing tasks influences consumers' perceptions and behavior towards clothing consumption. Consumer creativity can solve several problems in consumption practices; however, few studies have analyzed it in the consumption context. This study adopted an action research method so that consumers could experience creative clothing consumption in their daily lives. In-depth interviews and participant observations were conducted on eight adults in their 20s and 30s. Participants had to dress creatively 10 times and recorded their creative fashion styles, the ideas they used, and their feelings during the tasks in a consumer diary. The main results were as follows. Participants regarded the meaning of creative dressing as a 'visually novel, transformative, and hiding the physical flaws'. Based on these characteristics of creative dressing, they showed many creative ideas by expanding the product usages or varying coordination among the fashion items. As a result of the task experience, participants became aware their stagnant fashion style and reflected on shopping habits and low clothing usage-efficiency. This study is meaningful in that it systematically explored creative clothing consumption behavior step by step from a consumer perspective.

Generation and Detection of Terahertz Waves Using Low-Temperature-Grown GaAs with an Annealing Process

  • In this letter, we present low-temperature grown GaAs (LTG-GaAs)-based photoconductive antennas for the generation and detection of terahertz (THz) waves. The growth of LTG-GaAs and the annealing temperatures are systematically discussed based on the material characteristics and the properties of THz emission and detection. The optimum annealing temperature depends on the growth temperature, which turns out to be $540^{\circ}C$ to $580^{\circ}C$ for the initial excess arsenic density of $2{\times}10^{19}/cm^3$ to $8{\times}10^{19}/cm^3$.

R&D조직의 창의적 팀 특성이 혁신성과에 미치는 영향 : 창의적 풍토의 매개효과 (The Effects of Team Characteristics on the Innovation Performance in R&D Organizations : The Mediating Effect of Creative Climate)

  • This study aims at analyzing the relationship between team characteristic and innovation performance. The mediating effect of creative climate on the team characteristic and innovation performance is also measured. Based upon literature review, individual creative characteristics, team diversity, team cohesion, task characteristics are presented as antecedents of team characteristic. Creative climate affects the creative behavior and innovative performance. Creative climate is measured as the Team Climate Inventory (TCI) proposed by Anderson & West (1998) including goal, participative-autonomy and innovative-support. Data were collected from 186 survey responses (54 Teams) out of total 462 (69 teams) from the R&D department of a major ICT firm in Korea. Empirical results show the diversity, cohesion, job characteristic, individual creative characteristic have a positive effect on the creative climate and innovation performance. The participative-autonomy climate factor appears to mediate the relationship between team characteristic (diversity, cohesion, job and individual characteristics) and innovation performance. However, the mediating effects of goals and innovative-support factors were not significant statistically. It was confirmed that the organization can contribute to improve the team innovation performance by facilitating a autonomy and participative climate as well as fostering the team characteristic.

일반계고의 창의공학설계 수업을 위한 아두이노 기반 STEAM 수업자료 개발과 적용 (Development of STEAM Instructional Materials using Arduino for Creative Engineering Design Class in High Schools and Its Application)

  • The purpose of the study was to develop the Arduino based STEAM instruction materials for creative engineering design class. PDIE model was used in this study. We developed a STEAM lesson plan and a STEAM lesson worksheet for a total of six sessions through the steps of preparation, development, implementation and evaluation. The validity of the instruction materials was evaluated by the 10 experts using a survey. The instruction materials were applied to the class (52 students attended) of the creative engineering designs unit in technology and home economics subject. The class satisfaction and the creative solving-problem ability were examined after the calss. The class satafacition was high as the average of 10 item was 4.57 (out of 5). The paired t-test was conducted to compare the means of the creative solving-problem ability. It was observed that 'understanding and mastery of knowledge, thought, function and skills in a specific domain', 'divergent thinking', 'critical and logical thinking' and ' motivational factors' were significantly increased after the class. The instruction materials develped in this study were successfully designed to enhance the creative solving-problem ability by designing creative tasks and to intrique the interest by adding visual and auditory stimuli with the Arduino.
