축소 철근콘크리트 벽체의 내력과 균열진전에 대한 개구부모서리 균열제어 띠의 영향 (Effect of Crack Control Strips at Opening Corners on the Strength and Crack Propagation of Downsized Reinforced Concrete Walls)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 철근콘크리트 벽체의 내력, 변형 및 균열진전에 대한 개구부 모서리의 사인장 균열 제어를 위한 다양한 보강방법들이 효율성을 평가하는 것이다. 개구부 모서리의 사인장 균열제어 보강방법으로서 이 연구에서 제안한 균열제어 띠, 기존의 경사보강근 배근방법, 그리고 응력분산곡면판을 선택하였다. 균열제어 띠에서는 균열치유 기능성이 부여된 것도 함께 고려하였다. 개구부 주위의 체적변화 및 균열 폭 진전을 평가하기 위하여 개구부 모서리에서 사인장 균열 유도를 위한 축소 벽체 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 균열제어 띠는 경사보강근 및 응력분산곡면판에 비해 개구부 주위의 체적변화 감소 및 개구부 모서리 균열 폭 제어에 효율적이었다. 균열 치유 기능이 포함된 균열제어 띠는 사전 실험에서 발생한 균열들을 치유하면서 축소 벽체의 내력 향상 및 균열 폭 감소에 가장 좋은 성능을 보였다.

  • This paper is related to investigate adding effect of fluorine-silicate hybrid type crack controlling agent(FS) on initial behavior, dynamic properties, adibatic hydration temp, and plastic crack behavior of concrete(Specification : 25-30-18). It is appeared that adding of FS contributed to strength elevation, lowering of hydration temperature as well as plastic crack reduction without disturbance of initial behaviors of concrete such as slump, air content and setting.

  • This study reviews the factors controlling the weld metal cracking and shows the difference from those of HAZ cracking. It further reviews the recent progresses made in consumable design for improving the crack resistance in the high strength weld metal. Previously the controlling factors for weld metal cracking were regarded as weld metal strength, diffusible hydrogen and weld metal height. However an overall review presented in this article shows that the cold crack resistance can be improve significantly through the microstructural control and that an increase in tensile strength is not necessarily related to a decrease in the resistance to cold cracking.

괘선터짐과 라이너지 물성간의 상관성 분석 (Correlation Analysis Between Physical Properties of Linerboard and Score Crack)

  • Cracking of scored or creased lines on boards is a serious problem in converting process of corrugated fiberboard. It is important to reduce the possibility of score crack in advance by controlling the related quality factors of linerboard. To find out the key properties affecting score crack, we carried out the correlation analysis between score crack and physical properties of linerboards. Score crack was evaluated by visual rating on surface crack after folding a linerboard using laboratory folding resistance tester. Thickness of linerboard was the most important factor to score crack. The critical limits of thickness and strain can be determined by correlation analysis for reducing the possibility of score crack.

철근콘크리트 휨부재의 균열 제어에 관한 연구 (Crack Control in Reinforced Concrete Flexural Members)

  • 콘크리트구조설계기준에서는 균열 검토시 설계의 간편함 때문에 철근 간격을 제한하는 간접 균열 제어 방법을 사용하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 구조설계기준 부록에서는 균열폭을 산정하는 직접 균열 제어 방법도 제시하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 두 방법을 통한 균열 검증 결과에는 모순이 있다. 이 연구에서는 구조설계기준, 구조설계기준 부록 및 Frosch 제안식을 통해 최대 철근 간격을 산정하고, 콘크리트 압축강도, 단면 높이 그리고 피복 두께에 따른 차이를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 구조설계기준 본문과 구조설계기준 부록에 따른 최대 철근 간격에는 큰 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 직접 균열 제어와 간접 균열 제어 사이에 일관성을 확보할 수 있는 합리적인 균열 검증 모델을 제안하였다.

탄소성 동적 균열전파의 만곡현상 (Dynamic elastic-plsstic Crack Curving Phenomenon)

  • The elastic dynamic crack curving could be obtained by controlling the loading rate, the initial crack-tip blunting to store much energy before crack initiation and the magnitude of reflected wave from finite boundaries. However there is no theoretical and experimental elastic-plastic dynamic curving study. This paper proposes a specimen geometryfor a study of dynamic elastic-plastic crack curving and presents a preliminary result. The specimen has a blunt physical crack tip on a side, and a round notch tip on the other side. From the experiment using this specimen, it is found that the narrow plastic zone ahead of the round notch tip produces the change of load direction and anti-symmetricity of the dynamic isochromatics, and each result causes the crack curving phenomenon. After a certain time, as the elastic-plastic crack gets close to the round notch tip near, the degree of the crack curving get larger. The elastic reack curving propagates more sensitively to the surround of crack tip than the plastic crack curving does. The cynamic elastic-plastic crack curving is found to be proportional to the CTOA(the crack tip opening angle). The dynamic elastic-plastic crack may propagate in the direction perpendicular to the loading. An apparant strip yield zone which is similar to the Dugdale strip yield zone is noted ahead of the physical crack tip.

Interfacial Crack Propagation Under Various Mode-Mixes

  • Initiation and propagation of interfacial crack along bimaterial interface are considered in this study. A biaxial loading device for a single specimen is used for obtaining a wide range of mode-mixities. The specimen is an edge-cracked bimaterial strip of glass and epoxy; the biaxial loading device, being capable of controlling displacements in two perpendicular directions, is developed. A series of interfacial crack initiation and Propagation experiments are conducted using the biaxial loading device for various mixed modes. Normal crack opening displacement (NCOD) is measured near crack front by a crack opening interferometry and used for extracting fracture parameters. From mixed mode interfacial crack initiation experiments, large increase in toughness with shear components is observed. The behavior of interfacial crack propagation analyzed as a function of mode-mix shows that initial crack propagation is delayed with increase of mode-mixity, and its velocity is increased with positive mode-mixity but decreased with negative case. However, it is found that crack propagation is less accelerated with positive mode-mixity than the negative mode-mixity, which may be caused by contact and/or effects of friction between far field and near-tip Held along the interfacial crack.

비대칭 레이저 빔에 의한 유리 절단 시 파단 효과 (The Fracture Effect of a Non-Symmetric Laser Beam on Glass Cutting)

  • A non-symmetric laser beam was used for cutting a thin glass substrate and its effect was investigated. In laser cutting of brittle materials, controlling crack initiation on the surface is crucial; however, it is difficult to ensure that crack propagation occurs according to a designed laser path. A lot of deviation in crack propagation, especially at the edge of the substrate, is usually observed. A non-symmetric laser beam generates a non-uniform energy distribution, which enhances directional crack propagation. A 20-W pulsed YAG laser was used for cutting a thin glass substrate. Parametric analysis was carried out and the crack control of the non-symmetric laser beam was improved. A theoretical model was presented and the limitations of the proposed process were also discussed.

초기재령 철근큰크리트 라멘교의 균열제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Crack Control of Early-aged Reinforced Concrete Rahmen Bridge)

  • 초기재령 콘크리트 수화과정의 메카니즘과 초기재령 콘크리트 균열 제어기법의 개발은 주로 매시브한 콘크리트를 대상으로 실험적 연구와 수치해석적 연구가 이루어져 왔으나 철근 콘크리트 라멘교의 상부슬래브와 같이 비교적 두께가 적은 부재에 대해서는 연구 내용이 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 4개의 철근 콘크리트 라멘교의 상부 슬래브에 대한 수화열을 현장 실측하여 온도이력과 강도 발현 모텔 및 건조수축 모델에 의한 응력들을 근거로 하여 초기 재령 철근 콘크리트 라멘교의 상부슬래브에 발생할 수 있는 균열을 제어할 수 있는 설계기법을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 해석기법을 이용하여 초기재령 철근 콘크리트 라멘교의 상부슬래브에 발생되는 균열 폭을 계산하여 균열제어를 위한 철근량 산정방법을 제시하였고, 설계하중 재하 시 배력철근으로만 취급되는 헌치부의 철근이 초기재령 철근콘크리트 라멘교의 온도응력 검토 시에는 주철근이 됨을 알 수 있었다. 제안한 해석기법은 초기재령 철근콘크리트 라멘교의 온도균열제어를 위한 설계에 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • This study is related to comprehending performance for watertightness and crack control of concrete added with crack reducing agent concerning to high strength concrete mixs. It was confirmed that watertightness of concrete added with agent could be improved by evaluation absorption ratio, permeability ratio and pore size distribution of hardened concrete. As well resistance to crack resulted from shrinkage was transferred to better state by the addition of agent.
