해사대학 여학생들이 인식한 진로장벽이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Career Barriers Perceived by Women at Maritime University on the Career Decision Level)

  • 해운·항만 산업분야는 전통적으로 남성 중심으로 운영되어 온 산업으로, 여성 해기사의 진출 범위가 늘어나고 있지만 여전히 여성 종사자의 비율은 낮은 수준이다. 그러나 본 산업분야의 여성들이 겪는 진로발달 상의 어려움을 설명하고 이를 개선하기 위해 개인이 속한 사회문화적 맥락이나 환경적 요인을 포괄적으로 설명할 수 있는 진로장벽 및 진로결정수준에 대한 연구가 아직 수행되지 않고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 M대학교 해사대학에 재학 중인 여학생들을 대상으로 진로장벽 요인을 도출하고, 진로장벽이 진로결정수준에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 조사였다. 해사대학 여학생들이 인식하는 진로장벽 요인으로 성차별(GD), 진로 미결정 및 준비 부족(IOU), 직장-가정 갈등(WFC), 개인특성 부족(LPQ), 기대보다 낮은 직업 전망(LOE)이 도출되었다. 도출된 진로장벽 요인이 진로결정수준에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석한 결과, 진로 미결정 및 준비 부족(IOU)이 진로결정수준에 유의한 부의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 성차별(GD), 직장-가정 갈등(WFC), 개인특성 부족(LPQ), 기대보다 낮은 직업 전망(LOE)은 진로결정수준에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 결론은 진로장벽을 극복하고 진로결정수준을 향상시키기를 원하는 해사대학 여학생들을 대상으로 하는 진로지도 및 상담을 위한 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

신종감염병지식과 임상실습스트레스가 간호대학생의 스트레스대처방식에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Emerging Infectious Disease Knowledge and Clinical Practice Stress on Nursing Students' Coping with Stress)

  • 이 연구는 간호대학생의 신종감염병지식과 임상실습스트레스가 스트레스대처방식에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 이를 통해 자가성장하는 간호사를 육성할 실습교육 및 심리적 지원 전략의 근거를 제공하고자 한다. 연구 참여자는 서울 및 충북지역에 거주하는 간호대학생으로 2022년 9월 10일부터 10월 10일까지 총 259부의 자료를 수집하였다. 통계프로그램 SPSS 21.0을 활용하여 피어슨 상관계수를 통해 신종감염병지식, 임상실습스트레스, 스트레스대처방식 간의 상관관계를 분석하였고 진입(Enter)방식의 다중회귀분석을 통해 임상실습스트레스가 스트레스대처방식에 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 실습교육환경, 업무부담으로 인한 임상실습스트레스와 적극적 스트레스대처방식 간에 양의 상관관계를 보였고(r=.17 p<.005, r=.15 p=.017), 대인관계 갈등, 환자와 갈등, 업무부담, 바람직하지 않은 역할모델로 인한 스트레스는 소극적 스트레스대처방식과 양의 상관관계(r=.18 p=.040, r=.28 p<.000, r=.17 p=.006, r=.19 p=.003)를 보였다. 임상실습만족도에서 만족한다(B=.25, p=.003), 실습교육환경 스트레스(B=.17 p=.004), 성별(B=-.19, p=.023)순으로 적극적인 스트레스대처방식 총 변화량의 15%를 설명하였고, 실습업무부담으로 인한 임상실습스트레스는 소극적인 스트레스대처방식 총 변화량의 7%를 설명하였다. 따라서 이 연구는 임상실습스트레스에 보다 적극적이고 자발적으로 대처할 수 있도록 상담이나 교육프로그램을 제안하는 근거가 될 것이다.

아동·가족학분야 진로 탐색: 교육과정과 학술지 연구주제 분석을 중심으로 (Career Exploration in Child and Family Studies: Focus on Curricula and Research Topics)

  • This study analyzes child and family department curricula at domestic universities and research topics in articles found in related representative domestic journals. Curricula were collected from the web pages of 26 out of 90 departments of 77 universities. Research topics were collected from the Family Environment Research, Journal of Child Studies, and Journal of Korean Association of Family Relations published from 2000 to February 2015. From those journals, the number of articles related to child studies were 1,843 and family studies 1,239. Among those articles, 6,593 keywords related to child studies and 4,748 keywords related with family studies were collected and analyzed. The results of this study were: first, we found four types of curricula provided by Child and Family Departments such as Child Studies, Child and Family Studies, Home Economics Education, and Family Welfare. Second, the identified research topics in child studies were child development, education & childcare, parent education, counseling & therapy, cross cultural study, instrument development, and policy. Family research topics were also categorized by individual family members, child rearing & education, family dynamics & problems, families & culture, work & family, family formation, dissolution & diversity, family practice, family theories & methods, and midlife & later years. We suggest several future careers in child and family studies based on these findings.

노령화에 대한 애도 - 영화 '수상한 그녀'의 정신분석학적 탐색- (Grief about Aging - Psychoanalytic search of the movie 'Miss Granny'-)

  • 본 연구는 영화 '수상한 그녀'에서 노령화에 대한 애도의 과정을 융 복합적으로 분석하였다. 영화의 내용을 반복적으로 탐색하면서 주인공이 노화과정에서 나타난 노년의 상실감을 애도의 과정으로 해석하면서 정신분석학적으로 탐색하였다. 즉 노화 과정을 인생의 재해석 과정과 향후 삶에 대한 발달적 태도 변화를 애도의 심리세계로 정신분석학적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과의 애도과정은 '상실과 결핍' ${\rightarrow}$ '도피와 퇴행' ${\rightarrow}$ '탈동일시와 탈집중' ${\rightarrow}$ '새로운 현실 적응'으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과에 의하여 상담자는 내담자의 애도작업이 원만하게 이루어지도록 심리적 애도환경 조성에 주력해야 할 뿐 아니라, 내담자의 애도능력 향상을 위한 복합적 상담기법을 구사할 수 있어야 함을 제언하였다.

보건 영양사의 직무만족도 및 자기진단평가 (The Job Satisfaction and Self-assessment of Public Health Nutritionists)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the general characteristics of public health nutritionists, the current status of nutrition services operation, the recognition about nutrition services of public health center related man power, the job satisfaction and self-assessment and the need for a retraining course of public health nutritionists. The subjects were 58 public health nutritionists who responded to the questionnaire distributed at the annual retraining program in 1998. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1) 46.5% of the nutritionists were 26-30 years old, 62.1% were 4 year university graduates 74.1% were food and nutrition majors and 51.7% were daily workers. 2) Among the public health center-related manpower, the recognition about nutrition services was the highest for the manager of family health section, followed by the head of public health centers, and then the general nurse in public health centers. 3) The ranking of the reasons for job satisfaction of the public health nutritionists was, relationship with colleagues(3.84), inhabitants response after nutrition counselling(3.53), specialized value realization/conviction about duty(3.35), contents of the work(3.10), value achievement(3.08), self achievement/development(3.00), self discretion(2.92), participation in policy decisions(2.90), work load(2.75), chance of retraining and acquisition of new information(2.73), working environment(2.69), supervisio $n^port by superiors(2.67), salary(2.38), supply of necessary education material, technique(2.37), and budget security(2.22). 4) The satisfaction of the inhabitant's responses after nutrition counseling was the highest among the 4 year university graduates(p<0.05), the satisfaction of the specialized value realization/conviction about duty was the highest among the nutritionists 26-30 years old(p<0.05). Food and nutrition majors(p<0.05) and those having worked less than 3-5years at public health centers also showed much satisfaction(p<0.05). Satisfaction with the salary was the lowest among the food and nutrition majors(p<0.01) and daily workers(p<0.001). The satisfaction with the participation in policy decisions was the lowest among the daily workers(p<0.01). 5) The ranking for the level of self-assessment were, nutrition and dietetic practice(2.92), communication(2.80), management(2.77), public health science and practice(2.66)(p<0.01). The general characteristics such as the level of education, major, employment condition, current public health center's tenure, and charge experience of the nutrition guidance work were not significantly related to self-assessment except the management part(p<0.05). The higher the satisfaction of specialized value realization/conviction about the duty, the better the total score on the self-assessment(p<0.05)..

Do Low Self-Esteem and High Stress Lead to Burnout Among Health-Care Workers? Evidence From a Tertiary Hospital in Bangalore, India

  • Background: Low self-esteem can be an issue among health-care workers due to the hierarchical medical system. Health-care workers are also in a high pressure environment that can lead to stress and burnout. This study was conducted to estimate the proportion of health-care workers with low self-esteem, high stress, and burnout and the factors associated with these in a private hospital in Bangalore city. Methods: This cross-sectional study included a random sample of health-care workers of various cadres - doctors, nurses, nursing aides, technicians, and workers in ancillary departments such as laundry, dietary, central sterile supply department, and pharmacy, with probability proportional to size. Rosenberg Scale for Self-esteem, Cohen's Perceived Stress Scale, and Shirom-Melamed Burnout Measure were used as study tools. Results: Among the 306 health-care workers, there were high levels of low self-esteem (48.4%), stress (38.6%), and burnout (48.7%), with the lowest levels being among doctors. Those aged younger than 30 years had significantly lower self-esteem and greater stress. Conclusions: Health-care workers with low self-esteem were nearly thrice more likely to suffer high stress, Odds Ratio (OR) = 2.84 (1.36-5.92), and those who were stressed had more than three times higher chance of experiencing burnout, OR = 3.6 (2.02-6.55). Path analysis showed that low self-esteem among health-care workers had a direct effect on burnout, as well as an indirect effect through stress (mediator variable). This study indicates the need for screening and counseling for low self-esteem, stress, and burnout as part of a periodic medical examination of all cadres of health workers.

녹색성장을 위한 가정경영의 가치와 실천 (Value and Practice for Green Growth from the Perspective of Family Resource Management)

  • Since environmental problems were globalized, discussions on 'Sustainable Development' started from Rio Declaration on Environment and Development(Rio Agenda 21). In Korea, the idea of 'Green Growth' was introduced and generalized since the celebration speech made on 8.15(Independence Day of South Korea) on 2008. And Low Carbon- Green Growth Basic Law was established on 2010. There are 3 strategies and 10 sub-tasks to achieve green country-traffic and green revolution of life. Family resource management is capable of changing life style from energy wasty to ecologically green. The value of family resource management plays a critical role in changing the lifestyle through influencing the goal and standard setting. So, this study is aimed to suggest the green value and green way of life from the perspective of family resource management. Results are as follow. First, the green value is to change from 'material-oriented' to 'people-oriented'. The 'material-oriented value pursues pleasure from possessing, but the 'people-oriented' value pursues pleasure from being itself. Second, the change from the value of 'human-mastery of the nature' to the value of 'mother -nature' is necessary. The value of 'human-mastery of the nature' seeks pleasure from the velocity and tangible outcome. But the value of 'mother- nature' seeks pleasure from the time to relax and slow way of life. 'Third, the change from the value of 'individualism' to the value of 'community sprit' is necessary. Individualism focuses on man's achievement, which may fall into family egoism. And the green way of life suggests the change from 'results-oriented' to 'enjoy the process itself", from 'consumption' to 'ecological restoration' and from 'work to home and then home to community'.

버스 운전직 근로자들의 감정노동이 직무 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Emotional Labor for Job Stress in Bus Drivers)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the association between emotional labor and job stress in bus drivers, as well as to propose management strategies for job stress. Methods: The study was conducted in February 2013 and involved 182 bus drivers working in the Gyeonggi area. Results: emotional labor was $9.5{\pm}2.34$ on average, and job stress was higher than the median of the same indicator among Korea's workers in the areas of physical environment, job autonomy, and relationship conflicts. Factors that affected job stress was lower if the subjects' Higher values for emotional labor indicated a higher level of job stress. Conclusion: To reduce among drivers, the following measures are necessary: increase the comfort of the driver's seat within the vehicle, provide adequate rest between bus headways, provide comfortable in-house rest facilities, and establish physical training spaces to reduce musculoskeletal disorders as well as programs for reducing back pain. In addition, relationship conflicts may be relieved by increasing job autonomy as much as possible, by granting autonomous control of working hours and bus headways, as well as by banning long work hours. Moreover, various club activities, exercise programs, and counseling programs that workers can be involved in together may be beneficial. This study is significant in that it identified the relationship of the bus drivers' emotional labor and job stress, which has previously been ignored as a research topic. Through its results, this study provides baseline data for the preparation of management strategies that can address the job stress of bus drivers.

Study on Development of Remote Mental Health Care Program with VR for Seafarers

  • 선원은 해운물류에 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 하지만 선원직은 상당기간동안 선박에 승선해야하며 고립되어 근무를 하기 때문에 정신질환에 상대적으로 취약하다. 특히, COVID-19로 인한 팬데믹 상황에서 세계 곳곳의 항만 폐쇄로 선원교대가 지연되고 있어 선원들에게 정신적인 부담이 가중되고 있다. 이러한 선원들의 정신적인 문제는 인명 및 선박의 대형 사고로 이어질 수 있기 때문에 선원들의 정신건강관리가 중요하다. 본 논문은 설문조사를 통하여 선원들의 정신건강관리에 대한 필요성을 확인하고 현재 운영되고 있는 정신건강관리 프로그램과 교육과정에 대한 문제점을 식별하였다. 또한 식별된 문제점에 대하여 VR기술 기반의 개선방안을 제시하여 선원들이 적기에 정신질환에 대한 상담치료를 받을 수 있도록 도우며 민감한 개인정보 노출을 방지하여 선원들의 정신적인 부담을 줄일 수 있도록 제안하였다. 이를 통하여 안전한 선원근무 환경을 구축하여 원활한 물류산업 발전에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A study on the Role of Ergonomics Experts in Industrial Safety and Health

  • 본 논문은 인간공학 전문가를 활용하여 보다 나은 안전보건 환경을 조성하여 산업재해예방을 하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 사용한 데이터는, 산업안전보건연구원에서 조사한 산업안전보건동향조사를 사용하였으며 분석 데이터 수는 2,084개이다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. 설문조사 중 22.9%만이 인간공학 전문가를 활용하고 있었다. 다른 사업장의 경우 인간공학에 대한 이해도와 접근이 부족하여 활용하지 않는 것으로 사료된다. 2. 산업현장에서 인간공학 전문가는 작업절차서(94.8%), 모니터링 지침(85.5%), 위험요소 근로자에 정보제공(95.8%), 위험요소 교육실시(96.6%), 기타 예방조치(94.1%)를 체계적으로 관리하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 인간공학 전문가를 활용하는 기업은 활용하지 않는 기업에 비해 안전보건 의사소통은 2.391배(1.949-2.932) 잘 이루어지고 있으며, 안전보건문화는 2.128배(1.786-2.537) 안정적으로 정착되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과, 산업현장의 안전보건 분야에서 인간공학 전문가의 활용이 유의미함을 증명해 낼 수 있었다.
