  • Today any data storage system cannot satisfy all of these conditions, however holographic data storage system can perform faster data transfer rate because it is a page oriented memory system using volume hologram in writing and retrieving data. System can be constructed without mechanically actuating part therefore fast data transfer rate and high storage capacity about 1Tb/cm3 can be realized. In this research, to reduce errors of binary data stored in holographic data storage system, a new method for bit error reduction is suggested. Firstly, find fuzzy rule to use test bed system for Element of Holographic Digital Data System. Secondly, make fuzzy rule table using DNA coding method. Finally, reduce prior error element and recording digital data. Recording ratio and reconstruction ratio show good performance.

Influence of the porosities on the free vibration of FGM beams

  • In this paper, a free vibration analysis of functionally graded beam made of porous material is presented. The material properties are supposed to vary along the thickness direction of the beam according to the rule of mixture, which is modified to approximate the material properties with the porosity phases. For this purpose, a new displacement field based on refined shear deformation theory is implemented. The theory accounts for parabolic distribution of the transverse shear strains and satisfies the zero traction boundary conditions on the surfaces of the beam without using shear correction factors. Based on the present refined shear deformation beam theory, the equations of motion are derived from Hamilton's principle. The rule of mixture is modified to describe and approximate material properties of the FG beams with porosity phases. The accuracy of the present solutions is verified by comparing the obtained results with the existing solutions. Illustrative examples are given also to show the effects of varying gradients, porosity volume fraction, aspect ratios, and thickness to length ratios on the free vibration of the FG beams.

7세부터 9세 사이의 한국인 어린이의 굴절 이상 (Refractive Error in 7-9 Year-old Korea Children)

  • Purpose. To analysis the refractive error in 7-9 year-old Korea children. Methods. From July 2013 to June 2014, two hundred eighty two subjects were performed in refraction test using the Auto-Refractometry. Results. The refractive error by spherical equivalent among all subjects was myopia 47.58%, emmetropia 42.35%, astigmatism 32.33%, and hyperopia 8.76%. Myopia was more common in female than males although the difference was not statically significant. The axis of astigmatism was with the rule in 65%, against the rule in 31.5%, and oblique in 3.5% There was a statistical significance between 7 year and 9 year of male in the spherical equivalent power(p=0.010). Also there was a statistical significance between 7 years and 9 years of female in the spherical equivalent power(p=0.036). However, there was not a statistical significance between male and female in spherical equivalent power(p>0.5). Conclusions. In this study, myopia was the most common refractive error. On the other hand, The prevalence of the axis of astigmatism was the with- the- rule. The spherical equivalent of refractive error was similar results between male and female. However The refractive error was different style with aging. these data suggested that the analysis of the refractive error at young children can provide the information of useful diagnosis for the correction of visual acuity.

규칙처리 표현방식을 이용한 이상 보행용 전문가 시스템의 설계 (A Design of the Expert System for Diagnosis of Abnormal Gait by using Rule-Based Representation)

  • This paper describes a design of the expert system for diagnosis of abnormal gait patients. This system makes the rule-based representation that can easily extend the knowledge-base and naturally represent the uncertainty, and the inference engine that uses forward chaining which covers the reasoning from the first condition to the goal. The results of inferring various maladies using this system are as follows: 1) In cases of progressive muscular dystrophy, cerebral vascular accident, peripheral neuropathic lesion and peroneal nerve injury, the result of inference is the same as that of medical specialists' with 100% accuracy. 2) In cases of Neuritis, Paralysis agitan and Brain tumor, the accuracy of inference is less than 50% compared to that of medical specialists. With above results, we decide that the rule-based representations of some maladies ard accurate relatively, but that the correction and the extention of some rules and some methods of problem solving are required in order to construct the complete expert system for diagnosis of abnormal gait patients.

Lightweight Named Entity Extraction for Korean Short Message Service Text

  • In this paper, we propose a hybrid method of Machine Learning (ML) algorithm and a rule-based algorithm to implement a lightweight Named Entity (NE) extraction system for Korean SMS text. NE extraction from Korean SMS text is a challenging theme due to the resource limitation on a mobile phone, corruptions in input text, need for extension to include personal information stored in a mobile phone, and sparsity of training data. The proposed hybrid method retaining the advantages of statistical ML and rule-based algorithms provides fully-automated procedures for the combination of ML approaches and their correction rules using a threshold-based soft decision function. The proposed method is applied to Korean SMS texts to extract person's names as well as location names which are key information in personal appointment management system. Our proposed system achieved 80.53% in F-measure in this domain, superior to those of the conventional ML approaches.

  • This study describes computer-aided design system for stepped asymmetric forgings. To establish the appropriate process sequence, an integrated approach based on a rule-base system was accomplished. This system has four modules, which are undercut prevention module, shape cognition module, 3D modelling module and corner/fillet correction module. These modules can be used independently or at all. The proposed shape cognition method could be widely used in forging design of asymmetric parts.

10대와 20대의 원용안경에 관한 임상적 연구 (The Clinical Study on Far Diatance Spectacles for Teen-age and Twenty-age)

  • 본 연구는 안경원을 방문한 10대 134명(남 : 78명, 여 : 56명)과 20대 123명(남 : 64명, 여 : 59명)인 총 257명의 굴절검사 처방전을 참고하여 성별, 연령대별로 구면도수, 난시도수, 난시축, 양안 구면도수와 난시도수의 차이 등을 조사하였다. 구면교정도수는 주로 -0.25D~-4.00D 사이에 280안(88.60%)이 분포되어 있으며, 난시교정안에 있어서 우안 난시안의 경우 48안(49.48%)이 C-0.25~C-0.50, 29안(29.89%)이 C-0.75D~C-1.00D 범위의 난시도수로 처방되었으며 65안(67.01%)이 직난시이고, 좌안 난시안의 경우 43안(42.57%)이 C-0.25D~C-0.50D, 37안(36.63%)이 C-0.75D~C-1.00D의 난시도수로 처방되었으며 73안(72.27%)이 직난시로 나타났다. 또한 양안 구면교정도수와 양안 난시교정도수에 차이가 없는 경우가 각각 108명(47.16%)과 28명(25.00%)으로 나타났다. 또한 10대 94안(39.49%)과 20대 104안(42.27%), 남성 119안(41.90%)과 여성 79안(34.34%)이 난시교정을 필요로 하고 있었다. P.D에 있어서 59mm~54mm가 165명으로 대부분을 차지했다.

국내 학술논문의 동명이인 저자명 식별을 위한 방법 (A Method for Same Author Name Disambiguation in Domestic Academic Papers)

  • 저자명 식별이란 다른 이름으로 표기된 한 명의 개인을 식별하는 것과 같은 이름을 가진 서로 다른 저자들을 각기 구별된 개인으로 분류하는 것으로, 저자의 연구 목록 및 연구 업적 평가, 특정 분야의 전문가를 검색하거나, 인용색인과 같은 학술 정보 서비스의 원활한 운영을 위해 반드시 해결해야 할 문제이다. 본 연구는 단순 머신러닝만을 사용한 실험 결과와 휴리스틱 방식으로 데이터 셋의 오류 수정 및 정규화 작업을 이후 머신러닝의 처리 과정에 룰 베이스 기반의 규칙을 부여한 저자명 식별 실험의 결과의 비교를 통하여, 인간의 개입이 머신러닝의 단점을 보완하고 저자명 식별 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는지 알아보았다. 그 결과 F-measure 0.1 이상 향상시킨 정규화 된 email기반의 룰 베이스 저자식별 결과로 정규화 과정과 휴리스틱 설정에 필요한 인간의 패턴인식과 추론능력이 머신러닝의 단점을 보완해줄 수 있음에 대한 가능성을 나타내었다.

한국어 경량형 띄어쓰기 교정 시스템의 구현 (An Implementation of a Lightweight Spacing-Error Correction System for Korean)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 규칙 기반 방법과 통계 기반 방법의 장점을 취하면서도 메모리 사용량이 적은 한국어 띄어쓰기 교정 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 철자 오류와 조사 생략이 빈번히 발생하는 모바일 구어체에 강건하도록 모델을 학습시키기 위해서 일반 구어체 말뭉치로부터 가상의 구어체 말뭉치를 자동으로 구축하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 새로운 음절 패턴에 대한 적용 범위를 증가시키기 위해서 음절 유니그램 통계 정보를 이용하며, 정밀도 향상을 위해서 음절 바이그램 이상의 오류 교정 규칙을 이용한다. 가상의 모바일 구어체 문장에 대한 실험 결과에 따르면 제안 시스템은 1MB 내외의 적은 메모리를 사용하면서도 92.10%(일반 구어체 말뭉치에서 93.80%, 일반 균형 말뭉치에서 94.07%)라는 비교적 높은 정밀도를 보였다.

A simple quasi-3D sinusoidal shear deformation theory with stretching effect for carbon nanotube-reinforced composite beams resting on elastic foundation

  • The objective of the present paper is to investigate the bending behavior with stretching effect of carbon nanotube-reinforced composite (CNTRC) beams. The beams resting on the Pasternak elastic foundation, including a shear layer and Winkler spring, are considered. The single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) are aligned and distributed in polymeric matrix with different patterns of reinforcement. The material properties of the CNTRC beams are estimated by using the rule of mixture. The significant feature of this model is that, in addition to including the shear deformation effect and stretching effect it deals with only 4 unknowns without including a shear correction factor. The single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) are aligned and distributed in polymeric matrix with different patterns of reinforcement. The material properties of the CNTRC beams are assessed by employing the rule of mixture. The equilibrium equations have been obtained using the principle of virtual displacements. The mathematical models provided in this paper are numerically validated by comparison with some available results. New results of bending analyses of CNTRC beams based on the present theory with stretching effect is presented and discussed in details. the effects of different parameters of the beam on the bending responses of CNTRC beam are discussed.
