The concept and discussion of copyright should reflect changes in using environments of digital properties and developments of technology. Further discussions are required about protection, transfer and usage of copyright for user created contents or digital activities. Digital archives should clarify the ranges of permitted usage or guides to quotation. One should not be biased toward regulating digital copying, but consider the value of diverse transformation of digital properties. This will trigger tension between private and public usage, or sharing of digital fabrications, which leads to the necessity of discussions on policy level. The interpretation of copyright is limited to protecting the copyright owner's right, but it should be suggested to widen the range to permitting fair use. The extended fair use of digital contents and by clarifying specific rules will activate creation and distribution of digital contents and contribute to more productive usage of innovation.

When we lose our memories or when our self-identity becomes blurred, we may feel as if our mind has split into multiple minds. If someone makes another 'me' by copying my body and mind, how should two conscious 'I's change their credences? In this article, we present a new thought experiment that can be called the 'Two Adams Problem'. This thought experiment represents a piece of philosophical inquiry that speculates on the nature of self-consciousness information that 'I am awake now'. On Sunday evening, as soon as Adam falls asleep, the philosopher Roro makes another Adam by copying Adam's original body and mind. They sleep separately in another room. Within a minute, Roro throws a fair coin. If the coin lands heads up Roro wakes just one of the Adams up on Monday. If the coin lands tails up Roro wakes both Adams up. On Monday, at least one of the Adams will wake up. To what degree ought they believe that the outcome of the coin toss is heads? We will argue that the correct answer to this question is 1/2.

Digital watermarking was developed to protect copyright by discouraging the illegal copying of digital content. On the other hand, recently, watermarking has also been used to verify the integrity of digital content, such as medical images, and detect illegal manipulation or distortion locations. Watermarking should be tenacious so as to protect copyright from illegal copying and should remain firm to the content through a range of attacks, such as distortion or filtering. At the same time, however, it should be removed easily even in a slight transformation of the material to verify the integrity. Therefore, this paper proposes a watermarking technique that easily checks and verifies the deformation or manipulation of digital images. In the proposed method, the entire image was examined in $16{\times}16$ blocks to check for deformation of the image. When deformation was detected, further inspection proceeded in $4{\times}4$ blocks and the location where deformation occurred was identified.

The $S{\bar{u}}tra$ of Great Dhāraṇī of the Uṣṇīṣa-cittā is one of the most widely published scriptures of Esoteric Buddhism during the Goryeo and Joseon dynasty. The sutra is often referred to as a Buddhist medical scripture whose recitation is believed to allay diseases such as difficult birth, chest pain, and infectious and incurable diseases. It utilizes two major methods for healing: reciting and copying the sutra or copying the dharani and talisman which appear at the end of the text with fine cinnabar and ingesting them with aromatic water. In order to understand the medical and historical value of this sutra, this study examines the historical background of its establishment in early China and its migration to Korea in the Goryeo period. This study also investigates the identity and value of the scripture in Buddhist medical history. The oldest known printed texts of the sutra in Korea are dated to the late 11th century. Because of the material benefits of the text, the tradition of printing and distributing the sutra was very popular between the 13th and 19th centuries. Therefore, examples of the sutra having been used for medicinal purposes during rites are found in historical records. Finally, the study tries to identify the relationship between the treatment methods of the Sutra and those of Korean traditional medicine focusing on several Korean traditional medical texts such as the Hyangyak-Jibseongbang (Compilation of Native Korean Prescriptions), the Donguibogam, and the Euibang-Hapbu.

The purpose of this research is to grasp the purpose of patent applications by companies. Based on this, we grasped the purpose of the patent application through consideration of previous research, selected 10 factors through expert Delphi, and conducted a questionnaire survey on these factors among practitioners in charge of patents in Chinese companies. Analysis results, Improve the technological image of your company, For use in negotiation: cross licensing, joint venture, Improve the situation in R&D cooperations, Enhance Reputation, Measure performance, Aacquire venture capital, Prevent patent infringement suits, Licensing Revenue, competitors' patenting and application activities, prevent copying or protect own technology from imitation. We hope that the results of this research will be useful as practical guidelines for understanding and applying factors that companies should prioritize when filing patent applications.

Recently, vector map data is developed and used in many domains widely. In the most cases, vector map data contains confidential information which must be kept away from unauthorized users. Moreover, the production process of vector maps is considerably complex and consumes a lot of money and human resources. Therefore, the secured storage and transmission are necessary to prevent the illegal copying and distribution from hacker. This paper presents a selective encryption algorithm using geometric objects in frequency domain for vector map data. In the proposed algorithm, polyline and polygon data in vector map is the target of the selective encryption process. Experimental results verified that proposed algorithm is effectively and adaptive the requirements of security.

채팅 시스템은 기계와 사람이 서로 의사소통 하는 시스템이다. 의사소통 과정에서 질문을 하고 질문에 대한 답변을 하는 질의응답 형태의 의사소통이 상당히 많다. 그러나 기존 생성 기반 채팅 시스템에서 자주 사용되는 Sequence-to-sequence모델은 질문에 대한 답변보다는 좀 더 일반적인 문장을 생성하는 경우가 대부분이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 복사 방법과 검색 방법을 이용한 생성 기반 질의응답 채팅 시스템을 제안한다. 템플릿 기반으로 구축한 데이터를 통한 실험에서 제안 시스템은 복사 방법만 이용한 질의응답 시스템 보다 45.6% 높은 정확도를 보였다.

Menu is regarded as the main factor for management of hotel and restaurant. Menu design was affected by many factors, but there are some items should be considered carefully for development of menu, such as a good understandings of consumers' demand. considering of the regional characteristics, establishing of the exact target, and careful thinking of a unit cost. At last, the most important factor is careful evaluation of developed menu and it have to be continuously reformed by feed back of these factors. Food service industries should create an independent menu(including restaurant layout, consumer level, marketing and advertising) rather than copying other restaurant' menu. Also. we have to design an efficient menu with useful information through the best of menu.

The Internet provides a new way of doing business, but ease of copying and of sharing valuable digital information illegally across the Internet undermine many viable business models. This paper investigates the Digital Rights Management(DRM) as a means to provide safe protection and proper delivery of digital contents through the Information highway. First, we briefly summarize the current endeavor of DRM technical development and standardization process held in key technical working groups. Then, the paper provides a generic architecture for a DRM framework and shows the implementation of a prototype of DRM system incorporating key conceptual and technical standardization development. This study emphasizes the importance of developing the DRM architecture that provides the proper protection and safe transformation of digital contents in electronic commerce.

In this study, we classified three copying papers and Korean, Chinese, and Japanese traditional papers using IR and/or NIR spectra and principal component analysis. Various chemicals are used when producing fine papers. In this case, the IR method to analyze functional groups is suitable for the classification of paper. On the other hand, NIR analysis is more suitable for the classification of traditional papers, as it uses nearly raw materials (pulp). Therefore, principal component analysis using IR and NIR depending on the paper production process will be the classification tool of paper.
