This paper explains the design and implementation of the FDA(Fault Detection Agent) based on IP-USN. FDA is a system that is suitable for detecting software error for multimedia distance education running on home network environment based on IP-USN. This system consists of an ED, and ES. ED is an agent that detects an error by hooking techniques for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment. ES is an agent that is an error sharing system for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment.

We have done the input-output analysis to see the over all impact of flounder industry of Jeju region on the domestic economy of Korea. To do the input-output analysis, we have constructed the data set for the input-output table by using the existing data set in the "2003 input- output table of Jeju regional area" published by the joint work of Jeju branch of Korea bank and the Jeju Development Institute, together with some raw data provided by Jejudo Marine Fish-Culture Cooperative. We have also produced input coefficient of flounder industry by making flounder industrial sector exogenous, separated from intermediate demand. To summarize our empirical results, the inducement effect of production, value added, and employment of Jeju flounder aquaculture industry are 300 billion won, 116 billion won and 1,800 people respectively. In conclusion, the results of this study suggest flounder industry of Jeju region contributes powerfully to not only Jeju economy but also all over the Korea economy.

To achieve a cooperative work between human and robot, it is thought helpful to estimate the states of human mind, which originates his behavior. In this paper, human mind was considered to modify instinctive desires according to the conditions of external world surrounding the instinct. A simple human mind model was designed so that it finds a balance between instinctive desire and restriction from the external world. The external world is divided into three sub-worlds like subject´s whole body, its partner and concerned periphery. Proposed mind model has three-layers construction. Cooperativeness within an organization can be conceptualized as the degree of members' willingness to work with others. The simulation study investigates the relationships of cooperativeness with team performance at different levels of information redundancy by using a multi-agents model called Team-Soar. The model consists of a group of four individual Al agents situated in a network, which models a naval command and control team consisting of four members. The study used a $9{\times}3$ design in which agent cooperativeness was manipulated at nine levels by gradually replacing selfish team members with increasing numbers of neutral and cooperative members, while information redundancy was controlled at three different levels(i.e., low, medium, and high). Results of the Team-Soar simulation show that cooperation has positive impacts on team performance. Further, the results reveal that the impact of agent cooperativeness on team performance depends on the amount of information needed to be processed during the decision making process.

Differential detection schemes do not require any channel estimation, which can be employed under user mobility with low computational complexity. In this work, a soft-input soft-output (SISO) differential detection algorithm is proposed for amplify-and-forward (AF) over time-varying relaying channels based cooperative communications system. Furthermore, maximum-likelihood (ML) detector for M-ary differential Phase-shift keying (DPSK) is derived to calculate a posteriori probabilities (APP) of information bits. In addition, when the SISO is exploited in conjunction with channel decoding, iterative detection and decoding approach by exchanging extrinsic information with outer code is obtained. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed non-coherent approach improves detection performance significantly. In particular, the system can obtain greater performance gain under fast-fading channels.

In this paper we discuss the contrastive nature of formalism and functionalism in linguistics. Though the mainstreams of linguistic analysis have been focused on the form and function, they have been challenged from each other's strong points. On the one hand, the formal description has been studied in the tradition of generative grammar. On the other hand, the functional nature has played a crucial role in the framework of language use. It seems undesirable to argue that there is one-sided bias toward any type of linguistic approach. I try to present a balanced view of these two contrastive approaches. We also argue that there should be a cooperative work in developing the mutual growth of linguistic theory.

This study is a preliminary study to suggest an idea for the establishment of the Korean standard authority database system for Korean libraries. It analyzes in detail the current status of the mjor libraries in Korea operating authority system Because the authority work is very hard for a library to accomplish for its costs and efforts needed, it is desirable to establish and maintain the system through cooperative venture. The future society will demand that enables one to solve in many fields by connecting various informations in many fields and then creating his own information. In the coming society, creativeness will be regarded much important. This ability can be developed with materials through group activities experimental class in math classes. This classes using these materials are not teacher-oriented, explanatory classes but student-oriented ones. They offer students opportunities to think by themselves and expand their potential abilities. They are suitable for rising and keeping student's interests. Therefore experimental classes through group activities enable students to think mathematically and make them recognize the importance of mathematical approach by letting them work connecting other subjects or things in real life. They can develop not only expressive, communicative ability and cooperative spirit, but also the ability to transcend the class itself and then reorganize facts in new insights. Besides, math classes with experiments can arouse student's curiosity familiarizing them with mathematics. Moreover, they can expand student's originative and problem-solving abilities.

Nanobiotechnolgy is a typical interdisciplinary field of research, and is based on the cooperative work of biologists, chemists, physicists, engineers, and medical doctors. This review article describes recent research and development of nanobiotechnology including nanobioanalysis, nanobiochip/sensor and nanobiomaterials.

최근에 웹 기반의 공동 작업에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 웹 표준 언어인 XML 데이터에 대한 접근 제어 및 관리에 대한 필요성이 점차 중요시되고 있다. 이에 접근 제어 표준인 XACML이 제안되었지만, 공동 작업에 대한 정의가 없는 문제가 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 공동 작업에 관한 기능을 기존의 XACML 스키마에 추가하여 확장하였으며, 이를 통해 기존의 공동 작업을 위한 XML 데이터에서 원하지 않는 권한 모두를 위임하는 경우를 방지하고, 권한의 오 남용을 줄 일 수 있게 되었다. 또한 본 논문에서는 이러한 공동 작업을 관리하기 위한 접근 권한 메커니즘을 설계하고 구현한다.
