This paper proposes an experimental method for measuring the quality of experience to measure the influence of the participants' immersion, satisfaction, and presence according to the application of sensory effects to 360-degree video. Participants of the experiment watch 360-degree videos using HMD and receive sensory effects using scent diffusing devices and wind devices. Subsequently, a questionnaire was conducted on the degree of immersion, satisfaction, and present feelings for the video you watched. By analyzing the correlation of the survey results, we found that the provision of sensory effects satisfies the 360-degree video viewing, and the experimental method was appropriate. In addition, using the P.910 method, a result was derived that was not suitable for measuring the quality of the immersion and presence of 360-degree video according to the provision of sensory effects.

This paper studies how marriage migrants are being depicted in Korean Cinema. In the recent years, the foreign population in South Korea has been increasing and so has done the presence of migrant minorities in media, including cinema. This study discusses that korean cinema shows dominant ideologies of power in Korean society where marriage migrants are located at the bottom. Five films were analyzed and from this analysis five frames were extracted. Marriage migrants are frequently depicted as subordinated or powerless, they are usually women in the role of wives, mothers, and daughters-in-law, they are treated as ethnic others, sexualized others or commodities. Consequently, their relationships with Korean nationals are formed by power relations. Moreover, Korean national who do establish some sort of intimate relationship with the marriage migrants are represented as people in the margins of Korean society. In this way, it is reinforced the social position of marriage migrants as outsiders in the Korean society.

As multicultural population has been drastically increasing over the decade in Korea, their quality of life needs to be studied. This study focuses on multicultural youths' suicidal issue in Korea. Suicide is one of the most obvious indicators to show the current status of mental health. Unfortunately, suicide attempt rate of multicultural youths was two-times more than that of non-multicultural youths in Korea during the past two years(2014-15). Through the literature review in Korea as well as the United States, this study explores the related variables to their suicide attempt. Research result says that multicultural youth's suicide is related to a variety of variables, including physical, psychological, educational, socio-economical, and cultural variables. Research implications are as follows: First, these variables can be utilized as predictive or protective factors to prevent their suicide. Second, theoretical framework for comprehensively understanding their suicidal issues needs to be developed. Third, both emergent and normal suicidal interventions need to be provided for multicultural youth in Korea.

This study investigated Seoul's image as a tourism destination that Chinese tourists perceived, taking advantage of Chinese Social Media "Renren". The study used visual method (V-method) to collect images and analyzed them in terms of convergent disciplinary approach. It searched Chinese word, "首爾", in Renren social network. 526 Seoul's photos were collected from 129 users' mini-homepage. Destination planners and marketers should understand how the Chinese tourists perceive the Seoul's image and recognize the contribution factors to representations of the city. It is recommended that more cultural experience should be offered to Chinese tourists.

Electromagnetic penetration into an annular aperture in a thick conducting plane is investigated with the integral transform and eigen-function expansion method. The solution is analytic and is represented in rapidly-convergent series which is amenable to numerical analysis. Numerical computations shows that apertures with narrow annular gap have sharp transmit power peaks in frequency response.

The purpose of the study is to explore the justification and the possibility of convertgent gifted education through science and arts. Because the nature of art make up the base of each discipline and the creative talents in the heart of gifted education can be achieved through arts education. In order to achieve the purpose of these studies, three aspects have been explored. First, the relevance between the ontological nature of arts and gifted education discussed in philosophical and aesthetic point of view was explored. Second, the practical possibility was confirmed through an analysis of previous studies about the science and arts for gifted education. Finally, by looking at today's social and cultural phenomenon and future talent, it was argued that the development of convergent talent must be needed in the future. This paper will be a springboard for follow-up study to prove the feasibility of convergent gifted education through identifying factors in creative thinking process of gifted students in science and arts. And views of convergent gifted education with artistic will be expanded further and newly recognized. In addition to, it is expected that this study will help the establishment and operation Arts Gifted Education Institute in University and Science and Arts Gifted School.

The purpose of this study was to examine the convergent awareness of emergency medical technicians serving as paramedics on the standard operating procedure(SOP) and their performance of it. The subjects in this study were 400 selected emergency medical technicians who were working as paramedics, and SPSS 20.0 was employed to make an analysis. The findings of the study were as follows: As for the convergent awareness of the subjects, they were best aware of the prevention of respiratory infections, and they were least aware of hand hygiene. Concerning performance, they performed best in handling treatment equipment and ensuring staff safety, and they performed least well in terms of hand hygiene. Overall, they were rated higher in awareness than in performance. Second, regarding the influence of general characteristics, there were statistically significant differences in awareness according to age, gender and injury experience, and significant differences were found in performance according to career only. The convergent awareness of the emergency medical workers was positively correlated with their performance. Given the findings of the study, it's required to improve both the Standard Operating Procedure awareness and performance of emergency medical workers who serve as paramedics, and it's expected to make it possible to boost their performance when repeated education is provided with the kind of programs that aim at improving awareness.

The terrestrial phetogrammetry has the relative convenience of selecting the site of photo station in contrast with the aerial photogrammetry, and the flexibility in accuracy prediction of object point positioning. So it has the advantage in designing optimum photo taking system which can fulfill the required accuracy. For the convergent photos which are frequently used for the monitoring of cultural assets and ground facilities, almost all of the traditional studies for the optimum photo condition, both in theoretical or experimental, are basically depend on the symmetrical configuration at the normal direction to the center of the object. However, in many cases the surroundings of the object do not allow the normal photo direction or sufficient convergent angle, even more the object features are not always be seen as one panel like planar. In this paper, the accuracy variation of convergent photos for the multi-planar objects, which are composed by some orthogonal planes, are investigated to establish the optimum photo condition. The results of the accuracy analysis for the photo direction, convergent angle, as well as the object feature are expected to be utilized in system design of geometric configuration of convergent photos, which are adequate for the accurate monitoring of the objects, such as culural assets, facilities, precision instruments, deformation surveying, etc.

The purpose of this study was to analyze STEAM elements and convergence types that appeared in the creative and convergent activities in elementary school science textbooks, which were converted from the national issuance system to the authorized system in 2022. For this study, 6 elementary school science textbooks for 3rd and 4th graders were selected. And STEAM elements in creative and convergent activities were analyzed by publishers, grade-semesters, and science fields, and the convergence type was analyzed for each publisher. The results of this study are as follows. First, the total frequencies of STEAM elements and the ratios of each element in the creative and convergent activities of textbooks were different for each publisher. However, among the four elements except for science (S) element in all publishers, the tendency to have a high proportion of art (A) element and a very low proportion of mathematics (M) element was common. Second, the higher the number of fused STEAM elements, the lower the rate of appearance in the textbooks in overall. Also the ratio of convergence types of STEAM elements varied by each publisher. Third, the ratio deviations of art (A), technology (T), and engineering (E) elements for each grade-semester were not large, but the ratio deviation of the mathematics (M) element was large. Fourth, technology (T) and engineering (E) elements appeared a lot in the fields of 'movement and energy' and 'material', while art (A) element appeared a lot in the fields of 'earth and universe', 'life', and 'integration'.

In this study, silicone injection molding technology with curved thermoplastic insert was developed to produce super-hydrophobic surface. Thermoplastic insert part and injection mold design of base plastic cover were performed to produce cost effective hydrophobic surface part. An optimization process of part thickness for thermoplastic insert part was performed with transient thermal analysis under silicone over-molding process condition. Structural thermal analysis of silicone injection mold was also performed to obtain uniform temperature condition on the surface of micro-patterned mold core. Super-hydrophobic surface for the silicone injection molded part with thermoplastic insert could be verified from the measurement of contact angle. It was shown that the averaged contact angle was over $140^{\circ}$.
