  • This study aims to analyze policy changes over time by conducting a textual analysis of the basic plan for activating convergence research and development. By examining the basic plan for convergence research development, this study looks into changes in convergence research policies and suggests future directions, thereby exploring strategic approaches that can contribute to the advancement of science and technology and societal development in our country. In particular, it sought to understand the policy changes proposed by the basic plan by identifying the relevance and trends of topics over time. Various analytical methods such as TF-IDF analysis, topic modeling (LDA), and network (CONCOR) analysis were used to identify the key topics of each period and grasp the trends in policy changes. The analysis revealed clustering of topics by period and changes in topics, providing directions for the convergence research ecosystem and addressing pressing issues. The results of this study are expected to provide important insights to various stakeholders such as governments, businesses, academia, and research institutions, offering new insights into the changes in policies proposed by previous basic plans from a macroscopic perspective.

  • This study analyzed the domestic and foreign cases of the existing smart home service and grasped the needs of the future smart home service in the future of the Internet of Things. As with all smart homes, the effectiveness of future use is important when comparing needs and random services according to user usability and destination patterns. In order to improve the reliability and to promote the development direction, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 110 people in 20 ~ 30 age group. The survey shows that the reliability of the smart home service is low. The low trust factors include: 1. lack of usability; 2. lack of device recognition; 3. lack of specialization services. Since the smart home service is still in the early stage, various smart home services and ecosystem should be constructed according to user's needs.

  • As the number of applications containing nanomaterials increase, aquatic ecosystem exposure to nanoparticles (NPs) is unavoidable. In this study, we carried out toxicity assessment to Au-nanoparticles(NPs) of Rana dybowskii eggs and tadpoles. Toxicity was recorded hatching rate, body condition(Snout-tail length, STL), and behavioral sensitivity. Behavioral sensitivity was analyzed to anti-predator behavior using Ethovision XT 9. Au-NPs did not show any toxicity of hatching rate and STL. But, Tadpoles exposed to Au-NPs decrease behavioral sensitivity of stimuli. This study has value of environmental toxicity evaluation because these results show the new way of toxicity assessment.

  • The Dokdo coast is known for its high biodiversity. However, few studies have examined the biodiversity and macrobenthic community on the subtidal soft-bottom. Therefore, we collected macrobenthos (> 1 mm) using a Smith-McIntyre grab ($0.1m^2$) at 15 stations along the Dokdo coast in September 2016. The sediments consisted of badly sorted (1.7) coarse sand with gravel and the mean sediment grain size was $-0.4{\phi}$. In total, 177 macrobenthic species were collected; their mean density was $1,566ind./m^2$. The number of species and density of macrobenthic fauna decreased significantly with the mean grain size. The dominant species were the amphipods Melita denticulata (16.5%) and Melita shimizui (5.5%), polychaete Salvatoria clavata (5.4%), bivalve Glycymeris aspersa (4.4%), and ophiuroid Ophionereis dubia (4.3%). The dominant macrobenthos species on the subtidal soft-bottom differed from the coastal areas of the East Sea, suggesting that the difference in the sediment grain size affected the macrobenthos. Cluster analysis was performed to divide the study area into four groups, and environmental factors which correlated with species composition and distribution in the study area were the combination of the four parameters of salinity, dissolved oxygen, total organic carbon and depth. A future seasonal investigation is needed to understand the species composition and characteristics of the Dokdo macrobenthos.

  • In recent years, the outstanding performance of large language models (LLMs) trained on extensive datasets has become a hot topic. Since studies on LLMs are available on open-source approaches, the ecosystem is expanding rapidly. Models that are task-specific, lightweight, and high-performing are being actively disseminated using additional training techniques using pre-trained LLMs as foundation models. On the other hand, the performance of LLMs for Korean is subpar because English comprises a significant proportion of the training dataset of existing LLMs. Therefore, research is being carried out on Korean-specific LLMs that allow for further learning with Korean language data. This paper identifies trends of open source based LLMs and introduces research on Korean specific large language models; moreover, the applications and limitations of large language models are described.

  • The log data generated by security equipment have been synthetically analyzed on the ESM(Enterprise Security Management) base so far, but due to its limitations of the capacity and processing performance, it is not suited for big data processing. Therefore the another way of technology on the big data platform is necessary. Big Data platform can achieve a large amount of data collection, storage, processing, retrieval, analysis, and visualization by using Hadoop Ecosystem. Currently ESM technology has developed in the way of SIEM (Security Information & Event Management) technology, and to implement security technology in SIEM way, Big Data platform technology is essential that can handle large log data which occurs in the current security devices. In this paper, we have a big data platform Hadoop Ecosystem technology for analyzing the security log for sure how to implement the system model is studied.

  • The major thrust of this research focuses on the development of phased big data distribution model based on the big data ecosystem. This model consists of 3 phases. In phase 1, data intermediaries are participated in this model and transaction functions are provided. This system consists of general control systems, registrations, and transaction management systems. In phase 2, trading support systems with data storage, analysis, supply, and customer relation management functions are designed. In phase 3, transaction support systems and linked big data distribution portal systems are developed. Recently, emerging new data distribution models and systems are evolving and substituting for past data management system using new technology and the processes in data science. The proposed model may be referred as criteria for industrial standard establishment for big data distribution and transaction models in the future.

  • The market for medical tourism services in the world is steadily increasing and the medical tourism market in the South Korea is also showing high growth. However, they have also problem such as informal various information and services, irregularity price competition etc. In order to solve this problem, We have designed a medical tourism service model based on ICT specific on domestic medical ecosystem. First, analysis trends of domestic and overseas medical ecosystem and identify current problem of medical tourism. In order to solve existed problem we also have designed a medical tourism strategy. Based on the strategy, we have designed business service model based on ICT platform for as fit as Korea medical tourism status. The proposed medical tourism business service model can provide usability to customer and also can solve current medical tourism problem. We expect industrial effect and contribution to the activation.

  • Systems for underwater environment monitoring and natural resources can be considered as a part of digital convergence where real-time data transmission is possible with the help of underwater wireless sensor network (UWSN). One of key technologies required for the deployment of the systems is underwater acoustic micro modem. In this work, we design and implement an acoustic modem equipped with a commercial omnidirectional transducer. We also make experiments at the northern Han river for the verification of the developed modem. According to the experiments, the modem supports the working distance of 250 m and the data rate of 200 bps with a negligible bit error rate. It is expected that the acoustic modem can be used for various applications based on UWSN in a near future.

  • Since the 17th century, international trade has increased as a result of the development in the navigation skills. Recently, maritime transport, compared to other modes, is used more than 70% worldwide by shippers and ports, and it also has become essential in international trade. Most researchers focused only on port development, in topics like ensuring depth of water, port competition and port governance, but have left some topics undone, such as environment, ecosystem and balanced development. Therefore, this study provides insight to the academic world in port research using SNA (Social Network Analysis). The result of the SNA study shows that Baltic Sea ports researchers have focused on "Shipping", "Marine ecosystem"and "Pollution". The implications of this study are: first, the environment has become a main issue in the research field; second, the results suggest focusing on the main keywords from the keyword network. This study has some limitations such as excluding domestic journals and focusing in the recent 10 years.
