플로팅 슬래브궤도를 적용한 선하역사 구조물 진동해석 (Vibration Analysis of Station under Railway Lines with Floating Slab Track)

  • In the areas susceptible to vibration and noise induced by railway traffic such as downtown area and stations under railway lines, the vibration and the structure-borne noise can be solved by floating slab track system separating the entire track structure from its sub-structure using anti-vibration mat or springs. In other countries, the core technologies for vibration-proof design and vibration isolator - one of key components - have been developed and many installation experiences have been accumulated. However, in Korea, since the design technology of system and components are not yet developed, the foreign systems are being introduced without any adjustment. Thus, in this study, the vibration isolator has been developed and its performance are investigated by the dynamic analysis of a station structure under railways lines and the floating slab track system. For this purpose, the loads transferred from the vibration isolator of the floating slab track were evaluated by train running simulation considering vehicle-track interaction, and then the dynamic analysis of station structure subjected to these loads was performed. The dynamic analysis results show that the proposed floating slab track can reduce the vibration of structure by about 25dB compared with that in conventional ballast track without floating system.

  • In this paper, The Next Generation High Speed Railway inverter system based on IPMSM drives using Random Pulse Position Modulation is proposed to reduce electromagnetic noise. To verify the validity of study, the simulator for the proposed system is designed and impplemented. Simulation program is developed using Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results of the proposed system was compared with the system using conventional method. The results show that the voltage and current harmonics of the proposed Next Generation High Speed Railway Inverter system. significantly decrease and spread into wide band area by the proposed Random Pulse Position modulation technique based on Space Vector Modulation method.

  • Bogie is the connection device between carbody and wheel. It is the core part that exert a important effect on the passenger safety and running safety. Bogie largely consist of bogie frame, suspension, brake, wheel set. Static and Dynamic load have acted on it complexly. So when the bogie is designed, finite element method, static load test, fatigue test running test should be considered. Some bogie frame of high speed railway freight car have the problem. It's end beam was cracked. The crack of the end beam have a bad effect on brake system. ROTEM co. made an improved end beam and applied one set to freight car. this report showed the vibration characteristic which was compared conventional bogie to improved bogie for running safety.

  • In general, the wheel-skid prevention of braking system is very important in modern railway applications. This is because wheel-skid can lead to an increase in noise and vibration from wheels with flat points, as well as an increased braking distance. However conventional anti-skid control has problems because wheel adhension and skid characteristics are very difficult nonlinear systems and time consuming to accurately model. In this paper, we design a fuzzy controller using a model of relation between ahdension and braking force, we show that anti-skid fuzzy controller has a very good performance, performing better than the previous conventional controller.

  • Tilting trains are now an established feature of railway operations throughout the world. For intercity traffic, tilt provides operators with increasing speeds, and therefore enhanced competitiveness, on existing routes where insufficient traffic or a lack of funds precludes the construction of a dedicated new high-speed railway. Appling the tilting train, we can expect 30% of speed up on existing lines, but the stability of the electric current would be low because of tilting the train. Also, the spark between the catenary and pantagraph cause environmental problems such as noise, radio wave malfunction. Therefore, the tilting on pantagraph for the power suppling device is very essential for stable electric power supply.

  • Recently, the microprocessor with network function based-controlled systems instead of conventional microprocessors is widely used to industrial applications, and also those technologies are widely adopted for train control and monitoring in modern rapid transit systems such as railway vehicles. The purpose of this paper is to propose a high quality data transmission line of railway vehicle system controlled by a microprocessor, which was designed and realized through SMG 7&8 and ISA project. Noise, distortion and attenuation are always present in data transmission system and strictly limit performance. This paper describes a method to calculate the propagation constant, attenuation constant, phase velocity and length of stub.

  • 철도 전동 소음은 철도에서 발생하는 대표적인 소음으로서 차륜과 레일의 음향 조도에 의해 가진 된 차륜 및 레일의 진동으로부터 발생한다. 철도 전동 소음 해석 시 레일 방사 소음은 자유 공간에 놓인 레일의 음향 방사 파워를 이용해 원거리에서 계산하므로, 일반적으로 소음원 모델에 지면 반사를 고려하지 않는다. 그러나 레일 주위의 근접 음장을 해석하고 저감 대책을 적용하기 위해서는 지면에 의한 음파의 반사를 고려해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 파수유한요소/경계요소법을 이용해 지면에 의해 발생하는 레일 소음의 변화와 그 특성을 살펴보았다. 해석은 먼저 레일이 강체 지면에 부착된 경우와 레일 패드 높이만큼 강체 지면에서 이격된 경우에 대해 방사효율을 구하고 그 결과를 비교하였다. 이를 통해 레일과 강체 지면의 이격 여부에 따라 레일 방사 소음에 크게 변화함을 확인하였다. 둘째로는 지면에 임피던스 경계조건을 부여하고 레일에서 방사되는 음향 파워 및 지향 특성의 변화를 살펴보았다.

차세대전동차용 직접구동전동기 개발 (Development of Direct Drive Motor for Next Generation Train)

  • As a drive system for next generation train, we have been making research and development of a direct drive traction motor system without the conventional reduction gear. This traction motor is expected to have many advantages such as low noise, reduced maintenance, and energy saving. Due to the demand for high-output motors in the limited space between the wheels, open-ventilating traction motors with gear box have been widely used for many years. However, a conventional open-ventilating traction motor is necessary periodical disassembly to remove the accumulated dust from open-air ventilation. Reducing this burden, as well as increasing energy efficiency and reducing noise, would benefit the next generation of traction motors. To address these needs, KRRI have been developing a fully enclosed type direct drive motor(DDM) with high-efficiency permanent magnet for the next generation train.

고속선/기존선 운행에 따른 고속철도 차량의 승차감 특성 분석 (Analysis on the Characteristics of the Ride Comfort for High Speed Trains on the High Speed Line/conventional Line)

  • Recently, the ride comfort problem becomes increasingly important because of today's needs for train speedup. The railway has the track irregularities which cause vibrations, such as rail joints, turnout, level crossing, transition corves and super-elevation ramps, and variations in the track level(z-axis) and the gauge(y-axis). In Korea, the service run of the high speed train has been made since the 1st of April, 2004. The commercial high-speed trains must be run on the compound lines which are composed of high-speed line and conventional line. The high speed lines in both Kyoungbu line and Honam line have 57.5% and 33.8%, respectively In this Paper, the ride comfort has been reviewed by the various experimental methods when the high-speed trains are operated on both Kyoungbu line and Honam line. The results show that the high-speed train has no problems from the viewpoint of the comfort ride during the operation on the high speed line and conventional line.

Dynamic response uncertainty analysis of vehicle-track coupling system with fuzzy variables

  • Dynamic analysis of a vehicle-track coupling system is important to structural design, damage detection and condition assessment of the structural system. Deterministic analysis of the vehicle-track coupling system has been extensively studied in the past, however, the structural parameters of the coupling system have uncertainties in engineering practices. It is essential to treat the parameters of the vehicle-track coupling system with consideration of uncertainties. In this paper, a method for predicting the bounds of the vehicle-track coupling system responses with uncertain parameters is presented. The uncertain system parameters are modeled as fuzzy variables instead of conventional random variables with known probability distributions. Then, the dynamic response functions of the coupling system are transformed into a component function based on the high dimensional representation approximation. The Lagrange interpolation method is used to approximate the component function. Finally, the bounds of the system's dynamic responses can be predicted by using Monte Carlo method for the interpolation polynomials of the Lagrange interpolation function. A numerical example is introduced to illustrate the ability of the proposed method to predict the bounds of the system's dynamic responses, and the results are compared with the direct Monte Carlo method. The results show that the proposed method is effective and efficient to predict the bounds of the system's dynamic responses with fuzzy variables.
