  • This essay suggests frame of analysis about MMORPG and analyzes 3 representative games. That frame has 7 categories and more divisional analysing ietms. The 7 categories are community orientation, PK orientation, convenient usability of item, variety of character, balance, convenience of interface, aesthetics of graphic and sound. The result of analysis is quite correspond with empirical and general information. That is, Foreign games have multiple game factor and high asthetics of graphic and sound, Domestic games have good convenience of interface and well adapted balance.

A Study on Consumer Shopping Orientations of Non-store Shoppers (의류상품(衣類商品) 구매시(購買時) 쇼핑성향(性向)과 통신판매(通信販買)를 통(通)한 구매행동(購買行動) 관(關) 연구(硏究))

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate customer shopping orientations of non-store shoppers and identify differences shopping orientations among groups determined by amount and frequency of purchase by various direct marketing media. The subjects were male and female consumers who aged over twenty and resided in Seoul, Kungki or Masan area. A questionnaire was developed by the researchers, and distributed to 770 people. A sample of 747 consumers responded to the questionnaire, and 732 questionnaires were used for analysis. Frequency count and percentage, factor analysis, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey's test were used for statistical analysis. Consumer shopping orientations were classified into 4 factors: pleasure, economy/value, and convenience I & II. Among groups of heavy shoppers, light shoppers, and non-shoppers, there were significant differences in their shopping orientations. Also, within groups, there were significant differences among their shopping orientation factors. All three groups had significantly stronger orientation toward convenience I than pleasure and convenience II. Also, within other purchase groups (fashion-good purchasers, other-good purchasers, and non-purchasers) showed the same shopping orientations as the former groups. On the basis of the above results, this study is expected to be useful for catalog retailers to develope effective marketing strategies and provide their customers new buying motives.

Shopping Orientation and Satisfaction with Clothes of 20s Women Consumers Using Domestic/Global SPA Brands (국내/해외 SPA브랜드 의복구매 20대 여성 소비자의 쇼핑성향과 의복만족도)

  • This study examines the possible differences in satisfaction level according to the attributes classified as product, price, and service among women apparel consumers with the experience of buying global and domestic SPA brands. Data were collected through a survey of 270 women consumers aged 20s and with SPSS 15.0. The results are as follows: The exploration of the difference in product, price, and service attributes between the global and domestic SPA brands revealed that for product attributes, domestic brands scored higher in management quality, while global brands scored higher in design. In addition, for price attributes, domestic brands scored higher in promotion, while global brands scored higher in price value. When it comes to service attributes, only in regards to store policy was there a significant difference, with the score of global brands higher than domestic brands. The analysis of the difference in shopping orientation on domestic SPA brands showed significant difference only in customer convenience for the category of service attributes, while on global SPA brands, there were significant differences of the design for product attributes, promotion for price attributes, and customer convenience for service attributes.

  • This study aims at investigating the effect of product innovation accounting on the market success of instant food and convenience food businesses in Thailand with customer response capability as the mediator. In addition, it examines the effects of management accounting systems, marketing intelligence, and technology orientation on product innovation accounting. The sample for this study is 258 instant food and convenience food businesses in Thailand. To test the research relationships, a structural equation model is used. The results of this study show that product innovation accounting has a significant effect on both customer response capability and market success. Similarly, customer response capability significantly leads to market success while it mediates the product innovation accounting-market success relationship. Testing the antecedents of the research relationships, management accounting system, marketing intelligence, and technology orientation potentially affect product innovation accounting. Accordingly, product innovation accounting is a key source of competitive advantage. Product innovation accounting must be recognized by company management as a strategic tool for competing in markets and environments. They must invest their resources and capabilities to create and develop product innovation accounting principles, as well as encouraging their staff to implement and use these principles in the workplace.

Clothing Shopping Orientation and Sex Role Identity of Male Consumers Aged Between 20 and 40 (20-30대 남성 소비자들의 의복쇼핑성향과 성역할 정체성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between male consumers' clothing shopping orientation and sex role identity. Since shopping, especially clothing shopping has been traditionally considered a female job, it was expected that male consumers' sex role identity would influence how they approach the task of clothing shopping. Data were collected through an Internet survey firm from men aged between 20 and 40 years(N=199). The major results are as follows: 1. Based on the six clothing shopping orientation factors identified tv factor analysis, the respondents were categorized into 5 distinct groups: Self-Directed Shoppers, Planners, Brand-Oriented Shoppers, Convenience Shoppers, and Impulsive High-Involvers. 2. Five sex role factors were identified by factor analysis: two masculinity factors (strong and reticent) and three femininity factors(gentle, meticulous, and affable). Among these factors, 'gentle' was considered the most ideal, followed in order by 'strong,' 'meticdous,' 'affable,' and 'reticent.' 3. The results of MANOVA showed that the clothing shopping orientation groups statistically differed in their perceived sex role identity as well as in their ideal sex role identity. Overall, Self-Directed Shoppers and Impulsive High-Involvers scored higher in both perceived masculinity and femininity than the other groups. Convenience Shoppers and Planners were high in femininity but low in masculinity. The Brand-Oriented Shoppers were low in both masculinity and femininity. The results indicate that Korean males who are in their 20s and 30s consider androgyny as a desirable state. In addition, those who are high in androgyny are more likely to be highly involved in clothing shopping.

A Study on Clothing Shopping Orientation and Brand Loyalty of University Students (대학생의 의복쇼핑성향과 브랜드충성도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify clothing shopping orientation of university students and brand loyalty in Jinju, Korea. In addition, the effect of consumer's shopping orientation and brand equity factors on brand loyalty were analyzed. A self-administrated questionnaire was developed based on previous studies. A total of 257 useful data were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 program. About 64.6% were female with the mean age of 22.2 years old. The results of this study were as follows. First, clothing shopping orientation was classified into 6 factors: hedonic, store patronage, planned, brand-pursued, economic, and convenience shopping orientation. Second, brand equity was identified into two factors, brand image and brand-consumer relationship. Third, store patronage and hedonic orientation were significant predictors of brand loyalty($R^2$=.275). Brand image and brand-consumer relationship showed significant effects on brand loyalty($R^2$=.541). Findings of this study were expected to contribute to understand young consumers in a typical trading area and to develop marketing strategy for casual brands to increase and maintain brand loyalty.

  • This Study focused on consumer information search and consumer satisfaction according to product characteristics and sex. For these purpose a survey was conducted using questionaires on 225 males 299 females that lived in Seoul. Statistics used for data were Frequency. Prequency. Percentile Mean Multiple Regression Analysis and Path Analysis. The major findings were: 1) I male Group reference orientation were effect on convenience experience credience goods and information search were effect on experience credience goods. 2) In Femal Group her job and information search effect on convenience experience credience goods and involvement effect on credience goods only.

A Study on Solo Consumers' Shopping Orientation (Solo 소비자의 쇼핑성향에 관한 연구)

  • Changing demographics and social values suggest that marketers will see an increase in the number of solo customers. Solo consumer often have different reasons for their solo consumer shopping experience. Proper offer of the shopping environment or services and proper training of the service provider to recognize these different motivation will result in a higher level of satisfaction for all solo consumer. The purposes of this study are to identify the demographic characteristics of solo consumer and investigate the difference of solo consumer' shopping orientation in clothes shopping process. To test research problems, Data were collected by means of a survey questionnaire, which was sent to 250 single in Pusan and Ulsan. In total, 224 were returned and 25 were unusable because of unacceptable levels of missing data. The Results were summarized as follows: First, solo consumer had higher incomes, and higher education experience. Second, solo consumer and non-solo consumer (companion consumer) group had significantly different shopping orientation about ostentationbrand, convenience, and hedonic.

  • In this study the hospitality industry's leading companies, hotel companies affect the relationship between the performance information system, customer orientation, service orientation, to identify the target. Convenience extraction methods to Employees engaged in hotel in Seoul & Busan sampling was investigated. In order to derive the results of the study, the study hypothesis was based Information System for customer orientation service orientation, affect the relationship between the performance was investigated. Service orientation and customer orientation significantly affected, but the results of the hypothesis testing, the usefulness of information system technology acceptance model for ease of service orientation and customer orientation in the not significantly affect was not. Service orientation and customer orientation, business performance, but significant results derived significant personal achievements the results derived were not.

A Study on the Middle and High School Students′Clothing Gift Purchasing Behavior according to the Consumption Orientation (중.고등학생들의 소비성향에 따른 의류선물구매행동)

  • The purpose was to identify the middle and high school students'clothing gift purchasing behavior according to the consumption orientation. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed to 585 middle and high school students who had an experience of purchasing a clothing gift more than one time during recent one year in Chonbuk province from Mar. 6 to Mar. 15 2000. Frequency. percentage. mean. standard deviation. factor analysis. $\varkappa$$_2$-test. t-test. one way ANOVA were used for data analysis. Duncan's Multiple Range test was followed. The results of this study were as follows ; 1. The student's consumption orientation factors were consisted of plan, practicality. and pleasure. and they were divided into the practicality pursuit. the convenience pursuit. and the feeling pursuit. 2. The practicality pursuit considered practical aspects more. but considered external aspects of gifts less. gift purchasing frequencies was less. and selected cheaper gifts. The convenience pursuit considered practical aspects less. purchased gift more frequently. and selected ore expensive ones. The feeling pursuit considered practical aspects and external aspects of gift important. 3. Girls considered the external aspects of clothing gift more important than boys. and patronized the specialty store or discount outlet. The students in high schools or with more pocket money considered more criteria when selecting gifts. and selected more expensive ones. 4. Middle and high school students game and took gifts 1-3 times a year. and the common price rage was 10,000-30,000 won. Girls with more pocket money and in older ages selected more expensive gifts. On birthday or parents day. they used to select clothing as a gift more frequently. and the rank order of the favorite items were socks or stockings. handkerchiefs. and upper outer wears. They patronized specially store or opposite sexes.
