DCS에 퍼지제어 알고리즘 구현방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Realization method of Fuzzy Control Algorithm for DCS)

  • As the modern industrial processes become more complex, it is getting more difficult to model and control the processes. Naturally, an advanced type of DCS(Distributed Control System) with higher level functions is being sought Advanced DCS is a DCS with advanced functions such as fault diagnosis, GPC(Generalized Predictive Control), NN(Neural Network), and Fuzzy Control. In this thesis, we have studied a fuzzy control algorithm for realizing an advanced DCS. Its algorithm is implemented in a form of function code which is a process control language, being used by the industrial engineers. To verify the realized function code of the fuzzy control, the function code is applied to a continuous casting process of the Pohang Iron & Steel Works in Kwangyang. The rules of the fuzzy control were collected via interviews of the field operators and their operation documents. Finally, usability of the function code of the fuzzy control is shown via simulation for the continuous casting process model.

연속주조공정에서의 EMBR의 수치해석 (Numerical analysis of continuous casting process with electromagnetic brake)

  • A numerical analysis has been performed solidification problem using the fixed grid-enthalpy method with enthalpy-porosity relation. A modified standard $k-\varepsilon$ model was applied to describe the influence of turbulent flow. Computational procedures are based on the finite volume method and the non-staggered grid system. Comparisons with the different three experimental results show that applying a modified standard $k-\varepsilon$model in mushyzone is better than the previous computation results. This paper includes another EMBR's influences such as change of velocity field, Increasement of temperature and dispersion of flow out of nozzle into the flow field. These EMBR's influences are compared to case without EMBR.

  • 본 연구에서는 고속연속주조의 기초적 연구로서 벌징만을 선택하여 주조속도 의 변화에 의한 주편의 거동을 해석하기 위해 응력을 변형률, 변형률속도, 온도의 함 수로서 잡고 크리프 변형과 탄소성 변형을 동시에 고려한 모델을 도입하여 주편내에서 의 벌징량, 변형률 등의 상태를 밝히며, 고속주조에 있어서 고려해야 할 사항에 대하 여 고찰한다.

트윈롤 연속주조 공정에서의 롤의 온도분포 및 응력해석 (Analysis of Temperature and Stress Distributions of the Roll for the Twin-Roll Continuous Casting Process)

  • In this paper, analysis of temperature and stress distributions in the roll for a twin roll continuous casting process was carried out. Firstly, several state equations were set up to determine the temperature distribution in the roll using finite difference method. Secondly, thermal stress in the roll was calculated numerically. Also, stress distribution due to the roll pressure was calculated to determine the effect of the roll pressure. For analysis of temperature distributions and the stress states of the roll, there are three kinds of roll materials, 2ICrMoV5. 11, CuCo/NiBe, CuCrZr and three types of cooling system were used.

가열주형 연속주조시 발생되는 줄무늬 결함에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Occurrence of the Striation Defect during the Continuous Casting with the Heated Mold)

  • The striations parallel to the casting direction are the characteristic defects occurring during the unidirectional solidification of nonferrous metals such as pure Al and Sn. It has been known that the defects affect the recrystallization temperature as well as the mechanical and electrical properties of Al. However, it has not been still known about the effect of casting factors such as the casting speed, rod diameter of cast metals, and alloying elements on the occurrence of striations. In the present study, these casting factors affecting the occurrence of striation were investigated by adopting the quantitative examination of striations. Also, the relation between striation defects and feathery grain, which are very similar to the striation defects, was studied.
