  • The rapid proliferation of wireless networks provides a ubiquitous channel for delivering instructional materials at the convenience of the user. By delivering content through portable devices linked to the Internet, the full spectrum of multimedia capabilities is available for engaging the user's interest. This capability encompasses not only text but images, video, speech generation and voice recognition. Moreover, the incorporation of machine learning capabilities at the source provides the ability to tailor the material to the general level of expertise of the user as well as the immediate needs of the moment: for instance, a request for information regarding a particular city might be covered by a leisurely presentation if solicited from the home, but more tersely if the user happens to be driving a car. This paper presents system architecture to support mobile instruction in conjunction with knowledge-based tutoring capabilities. For concreteress, the general concepts are examined in the context of a system for mathematics education on the Web.

This study applied a qualitative content analysis method to understand the phenomenon of micro-enterprises comprehensively. The data of this research was collected using surveys, interviews, and a group discussion. The findings indicated that technological information adaptation plays a crucial role in the development of micro-enterprise development. Since the group of millennials dominated the leadership, it has provided more creativity by implementing technological information instead of the previous generation that faced difficulties in adopting the technology. This study noted that inadequate technology adaptation makes micro-business gradually lose customers, and the business was threatened to close. Meanwhile, the role of leadership drives the business development, sales have risen, the number of products has been increasingly diverse, and business capital and number of employees have grown. The establishment of an entrepreneur group could facilitate peer-to-peer contact, knowledge transfer, training, and intervention to enhance leadership and business development. • Throughout the century, based on the precedent set by Flexner in the United States, almost every subsequent report on the reform of medical education has pointed out the need for more prevention-oriented teaching in the curriculum. This has been particularly so in countries like Korea where the basic public health services have been so important for the improvement of health of the people. And, in fact, preventive medicine and public health have contributed a great deal to the prevention of communicable diseases and prolongation of life expectancy. Recently, however, along with the educational reform that emphasizing the interdisciplinary teaching, integration of basic science and clinical education, and centralization of responsibility for the medical education curriculum, concerns are being voiced by preventive medicine educators. These concerns are primarily centered around the fear that the implementation of interdisciplinary, centrally administered courses would result in a weakening of content and teaching expertise as well as a loss of departmental power and control. This paper foresees that preventive medicine and public health will be more important in Korea in the future and proposes that preventive medicine educators will have to step forward and turn the challenges of curricula restructuring into opportunities to expand the role of preventive medicine in the curricula of their institutions.

  • Throughout the years, cybersecurity incidents related to the shipbuilding and maritime industries are occurring more frequently as the IT industry develops. Accordingly, expertise in the information protection industry is necessary, and effective education contents on information protection are needed for this purpose. Recently, there have been more and more cases of increasing user experience by applying Metaverse technology to the educational field. Therefore, this study analyzes the existing information protection education and training and the information protection education contents in the maritime industries and proposes four directions for content development (i.e., online education and seminars, cybersecurity threat learning of virtual ships, accident reproduction, and maritime cybersecurity exhibition operation).

  • Objective: This study aimed to analyze the counseling contents of daycare center teachers by using text mining and semantic network analysis methods to find the necessary support directions for daycare teachers and to improve the quality of child-care. Methods: Five hundred thirteen cases of counseling recorded on the open bulletin board of online counseling (Naver Bands for Nursery Teacher Counseling) were collected, and frequency analysis, centrality solidarity analysis, and machine learning-based topic analysis were conducted using the NetMiner4.3 program. Results: First, 'teacher-to-child ratio' was highest in the frequency. Second, 'colleagues' were all high in all centrality analysis. Third, machine learning-based topical analysis shows that the topics were categorized as subjects about 'childcare and education', 'working environment that supports professional development' and 'working condition', and among them, 'first-time teacher concerns' accounted for 44% of the total counseling content. Conclusion/Implications: This study implied that it is necessary to provide high-quality child-care and education to infants by lowering the 'teacher-to-child ratio', and a systematic program is needed to help improve effective communication skills in interpersonal relationships such as between parents, fellow teachers, and principals. In addition, self-development and efforts to improve teachers expertise should be prioritized in order to improve infant care quality and quality of teachers.
