MPI를 이용한 판재성형해석 프로그램의 병렬화 (Parallelization of sheet forming analysis program using MPI)

  • A parallel version of sheet forming analysis program was developed. This version is compatible with any parallel computers which support MPI that is one of the most recent and popular message passing libraries. For this purpose, SERI-SFA, a vector version which runs on Cray Y-MP C90, a sequential vector computer, was used as a source code. For the sake of the effectiveness of the work, the parallelization was focused on the selected part after checking the rank of CPU consumed from the exemplary calculation on Cray Y-MP C90. The subroutines associated with contact algorithm was selected as targe parts. For this work, MPI was used as a message passing library. For the performance verification, an oil pan and an S-rail forming simulation were carried out. The performance check was carried out by the kernel and total CPU time along with theoretical performance using Amdahl's Law. The results showed some performance improvement within the limit of the selective paralellization.

CAD 모델 기반 비접촉 기상 측정에 관한 연구 (Non-contacting OMM (On Machine Measurement) based on CAD Model)

  • An industrial product is designed and fabricated, followed by the inspection process in order to check whether it is dimensionally tolerable or not. The machining process produces a part such as a mold or die, in which the three-dimensional coordinate might be measured by a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for assessment of its dimension. It is not ignorable, however, that a CMM measurement requires a lot of operating time and cost, which has led to many studies on the OMM system. The OMM system can be categorized into contact and non-contact types, and each of which has its own strengths and weaknesses. Non-contacting types generally utilize structured lights, sounds or magnetic fields. Though they show rather poor performance in positional accuracy, the measuring speed is faster than the contacting probes. This paper presents the development of an OMM system based on a non-contacting laser displacement sensing apparatus and CAD model. The system is composed of software modules of center-aligning and measuring, which has been operated and verified on a NC machining center on a shop floor.

안경산업의 수입행태 (Import Patterns of Eyeglasses Industry)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 안경 및 콘택트렌즈 수입이 경제변수로부터 어떻게 반응하고 어떤 행태를 보이는가를 실증적으로 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 방법: 이를 위하여 모형의 강건성을 위한 EG공적분 기법과 Johansen's 다변량 공적분기법을 이용하였다. 그 결과 변수와 모형이 안정적임이 확인되면 수입함수를 추정한다. 그리고 오차수정모형을 통하여 안경과 콘택트렌즈 수입의 실제치와 균형치 간의 괴리가 매월 제거되거나 수정되는 비율을 본다. 또한 시간경과에 따라 변수의 동태성 점검을 위한 전향적 이동회귀를 실시한다. 결과: 이러한 분석 결과를 보면, 안경과 콘택트렌즈 수입은 경제변수에 탄력적임을 밝히고 있다. 특히, 콘택트렌즈보다 안경이 더욱 더 민감하게 반응하는 것을 보여주고 있다. 결론: 본 논문은 안경과 콘택트렌즈 수입이 환율과 경기와 같은 경제변수 및 계절적 요인에 영향을 받는다는 것을 밝히고 있다.

전기 절연용 EPDM Compounds (EPDM Compounds for Electric Insulator)

  • 비세라믹 복합절연소재는 기계적 물성, 환경문제, 대량생산과 용이한 설계등의 우수한 특성으로 인해 전력산업분야에서 관심의 대상이 되어왔다. 또한 세라믹 절연체에 비하여 가볍고, 더욱 강인한 물성을 가진다는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 뛰어난 전기 절연 특성과 우수한 내열, 내산화, 내오존성과 내후성을 가진 ethylene propylene diene monomer(EPDM)를 절연소재로 사용하였다. 특히, EPDM은 다른 고무 복합체에 비해 우수한 소수성을 가지기 때문에 장기간 사용이 가능하다는 점에서 본 연구에서는 EPDM 복합체의 유변학적 물성, 전기적물성, 그리고 접촉각의 측정을 통한 소수성 및 회복력에 관한 연구를 하였다. 또한 SEM을 사용하여 표면 형태학적 연구를 수행하였다.

유비쿼터스 헬스 케어 적용을 위한 의자 부착형 무선 심전도 측정 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Wireless ECG Measurement System Attaching in Chair for Ubiquitous Health Care Environment)

  • In this study, ubiquitous health care system attaching in chair to monitor ECG for health care was developed at the unconsciousness state. The system conveniently and simple measured ECG at non-consciousness. We measured the contact impedance to skin-electrode of metal mesh electrodes of the system. Contact impedance enable the electrode to use for ECG measurement. The results are that the impedance of the metal mesh electrodes according to sizes is low when the size is 4$cm^2$. As the result, when the size of the metal mesh electrode is 4$cm^2$, the electrode is fit for ECG measurement. We can acquired by positing the arm on the metal mesh electrode. The ECG signal was detected using a high-input-impedance bio-amplifier, and then passed filter circuitry. The measured signal transmitted to a PC through the bluetooth wireless communication and monitored. Data of the non-constrained ECG system attaching in chair is noise-data when comparing metal mesh electrode with the Ag/Agcl electrode but the data is significant to monitor ECG for check the body state.

  • It is necessary to perform a study on the interrace between a G7 pantograph and a KTX catenary system prior to G7 on-line tests in the Korea High Speed Test Track in order to predict how high current collection quality can be obtained during the on-line tests and check if safety problems shall be caused b)Y the tests or not. According to the simulation results, current collection quality of the G7 pantograph at 350km/h is lower than that of a GPU pantograph at 300km/h, but the contact wire uplifts and average contact forces are within the safe-zone. In addition, the ratio of running speed (350km/h) to safe running. Therefore, the G7 on-line tests at 350km/h in the Korea High Speed Test Track is expected not to cause the safety problem.

핵연료봉 프레팅마멸 시험기 개발 (Development of Fuel Rod Fretting Wear Tester)

  • A fretting wear tester is developed for experimental study on the fuel fretting problem of light water reactor. The feature of the developed tester is it can simulate the existence of gap between spring and fuel rod as well as different contacting force including the just-contact condition (0 N on the contact). Used are a servo-motor, an eccentric cylinder and lever mechanism for driving system. A spacer grid cell is constituted with four strap segments (each segment has a spring). This fretting wear tester can also be used as a fatigue tester of a spacer grid spring with the frequency of more than 10 Hz. It is required to simulate the frequency of the vibrating fuel rod due to flow-induced vibration in a reactor. In fretting wear test, up to two span-length of a fuel cladding tube can be accommodated. A specimen of cladding tube of one span-length is specially designed, which can be extended for two-span test. For .fatigue test, a device for clamping the spring fixture is installed additionally, Presently, the tester is designed for the condition of air environment and room temperature. The variation of the reciprocal distance is measured to check the stability of input force, which will be exerted to the cladding (for fretting wear. test) and the spring (for fatigue test) specimen.

Experimental and numerical analyses of RC beams strengthened in compression with UHPFRC

  • This paper aims to better understand the bonding behavior in Reinforced Concrete beams strengthened with an Ultra-High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete (RCUHPFRC) layer on the compression side using experimental tests and numerical analyses. The UHPFRC mix design was obtained through an optimization procedure, and the characterization of the materials included compression and slant shear tests. Flexural tests were carried out in RC beams and RC-UHPFRC beams. The tests demonstrated a debonding of the UHPFRC layer. In addition, 3D finite element analyses were carried out in the Abaqus CAE program, in which the interface is modeled considering a zero-thickness cohesive-contact approach. The cohesive parameters are investigated, aiming to calibrate the numerical models, and a sensitivity analysis is performed to check the reliability of the assumed cohesive parameters and the mesh size. Finally, the experimental and numerical values are compared, showing a good approximation for both the RC beams and the RC strengthened beams.

콘택트렌즈 관리용품의 살균력 효능 검사법 비교 (Comparison of Evaluation Methods for Disinfection Efficacy of Contact Lens Care Products)

  • 목적: 콘택트렌즈 관리용품의 살균력 효능 검사법 기준 개발을 위하여 막여과법(Membrane filtration method)과 희석중화법(Dilution-neutralization method)의 살균력 검사 결과를 비교하고 시판되고 있는 콘택트렌즈 관리용품의 살균력을 제시하고자 하였다. 방법: 포도상구균(Staphylococcus aureus), 녹농균(Pseudomonas aeruginosa), 세라티아균(Serratia marces cens), 칸디다균(Candida albicans)을 대상으로 하여 FDA(Food and Drug Administration)기준인 막여과법과 식품의약품안전처에서 새롭게 가이드라인으로 제시할 희석중화법의 살균력 효능 결과를 비교하였으며 총 20종 다목적 용액의 살균력을 측정하였다. 결과: 살균효과가 강한 살균 성분 및 관리용품의 효능은 막여과법과 희석중화법 모두 동일한 결과를 나타냈다. 살균효과가 약한 관리용품의 경우는 막여과법 검사시에는 균이 뭉쳐있어 정확한 균 수 측정이 불가능하였으나 희석중화법 검사시는 정확한 균 수 측정이 가능해짐을 확인하였다. 또한 시판되고 있는 관리용품 중에는 살균력 기준을 통과하지 못한 제품이 존재하였으며 특히 세라티아균과 칸디다균에 대한 살균력이 약한 경우가 많았다. 결론: 막여과법에 비해 희석중화법이 소량의 샘플로 더 정확하게 균수를 측정하는 것이 가능하며 결과 확인이 빨라 살균력 효능 검사시 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

측두하악 장애환자에서 두부자세 변화가 초기 교합접촉에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Head Posture Change on Initial Occlusal Contact in Temporomandibular Disorder Patient)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate an effect of change on head posture initial occlusal contacts with measuring the distances between initial occlusal contacts and maximum intercuspal position at different head posture in TMDs patient. For this study, 24 patients from age 13 to 36 were selected, they were examined health history taken, patients who have sign and symptoms of TMDs were examine before the study. For the normal group, 21 adults from age 23 to 25 were selected. They have normal or class I molar relationship, and have no other prosthetic restorations. Difference on distance between initial occlusal contact and maximum intercuspal position with mandibular kinesiograph$(MKG^R)$(K6 diagnostic system, Myo-tronic Inc, USA) in upright, supine, 45$^{\circ}$ extension, 30$^{\circ}$ flexion position of the head were measured. The Frankfort horizontal plane was used as a reference plane. The results were as follows : 1. There were significant differences between initial occlusal contacts of the normal and patient group on upright position and 30$^{\circ}$ flexion of the head(p<0.05, p<0.01) 2. The position of the initial occlusal contacts have a tendency to place anterior and inferior to maximal intercuspal position in upright position and 30( flexion of the head as well as posterior and inferior in supine position and 45$^{\circ}$ extension of the head in the normal and patient groups. 3. There were significant differences among the initial occlusal contacts between uptight and supine position; upright and 45$^{\circ}$ extension of the head(p<0.05); supine position and 30$^{\circ}$ flexion of the head, .and 30(flexion and 45$^{\circ}$ extension of the head in the patient group(p<0.01) The result have shown that after treatment on the supine position, it may be necessary to check occlusal contact on the upright position as well ass flexion of the head. It may need careful adjustment in occlusal condition on upright position of TMDs patient.
