4비트 ADC 반복구조를 이용한 저전력 전류모드 12비트 ADC (A Low Power Current-Mode 12-bit ADC using 4-bit ADC in cascade structure)

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털 회로와 저소비전력 및 고속연산의 장점을 가진 아날로그 회로를 혼용하기 위하여, 저전력 전류모드 12비트 ADC(: Analog to Digital Converter)를 제안하였다. 제안하는 12비트 ADC는 4비트 ADC의 cascade 구조를 사용하여 소비전력을 줄일 수 있었으며, 변환 current mirror 회로를 사용해 칩면적을 줄일 수 있었다. 제안된 ADC는 매그나칩/SK하이닉스 350nm 공정으로 구현하였고, Cadence MMSIM을 사용하여 post-layout simulation를 진행하였다. 전원전압 3.3V에서 동작하고, 면적은 318㎛ x 514㎛를 차지하였다. 또한 제안하는 ADC는 평균 소비전력 3.4mW의 저소비전력으로 동작하는 가능성을 나타내었다.

마이크로프로세서를 이용한 엔진점화시기 제어장치 (A Study on Spark Advance Control System using Microprocessor)

  • In order to improve the combustion efficiency of the agricultural engine, an ignition timing control system was developed and tested. The control system was composed of the CDI ignition circuit, the microcomputer and the interfacing devices. In this study, the simplicity of the control system and the flexibility of the control strategy were emphasized for the precision, the applicability and the economical efficiency. The hardware was consisted in almost the same compositions as those of the automobile engine. The softwares of the control algorithms were developed to three types depending on the combination of the quasi-adaptive control and the open loop control which had the different spark advance equations according to the input variables such as engine speed, exhaust gas temperature and brake torque. The test results were summarized as follows: 1. By using the computer control system, the fuel consumption efficiency could be improved and the fuel consumption could be reduced by 0 to 57% compared to that of the fixed spark advance system. 2. The fuel consumption of the control mode with the quasi-adaptive algorithm was reduced by average 0.8% compared to that of the control mode without quasi-adaptive algorithm. 3. It was found that the control mode with the quasi-adaptive algorithm adopting single input of engine speed had most applicability and economical efficiency among three types of the control algorithms.

RTGC의 연료절감을 위한 전압 보상 컨버터에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Voltage Compensation Converter to decrease fuel consumption of RTGC)

  • This paper presents a development of voltage compensation dc/dc converter to decrease fuel consumption of RTGC system. We used 3-phase interleaved converter, which has the same structure as the commercially available three-phase inverter, is used. RTGC system is supplied the power from diesel-engine generator. According to power demand, engine speed is varying 20~60Hz, and voltage is varying 210Vac ~ 480Vac. When idle mode or low power operation dc/dc converter operates by constant output voltage control. The perpormance of converter is evaluated through several experiments with a real RTGC. Proposed system can cut down fuel consumption by 36% at idle mode operation.

IEEE 802.16e에서의 에너지 절약을 위한 적응적 최소 수면 구간 결정 알고리즘 (Adaptive Minimum Sleep Window Algorithm for Saving Energy Consumption in IEEE 802.16e)

  • IEEE 802.16e는 고속의 이동성을 지원하는 이동단말들의 전력소모를 최소화시키기 위하여 수면 모드(sleep mode)를 정의하고 있다. 수면 모드를 적용한 MSS(Mobile Subscriber Station)들은 수면 구간 사이에 존재하는 청취(Listening) 구간 동안 BS(Base Station)으로 부터 수신할 데이터 프레임이 존재하지 않는다는 메시지를 수신하면, 자신의 수면 구간 값을 이전 수면 구간 값의 두 배로 증가시킨다. 수면 구간 값이 최대 수면 구간 값에 도달하면, 수면 구간 값을 최대 수면 구간 값으로 고정함으로써 전력사용을 억제한다. 그러나 이러한 방식은 MSS가 최소 수면 구간 값에서 시작한 후 BS로부터 수신할 데이터 프레임이 존재하여 수면 모드를 종료할 때 까지 다수의 수면 구간과 청취 구간을 반복하게 되어 스위치 온, 오프에 의한 전력 소모 증가를 야기 시킨다. 본 논문에서는 MSS의 에너지를 효과적으로 사용하기 위하여 현재 수면 모드 종료 시 사용되었던 수면 구간 값을 다음 수면 모드의 최소 수면 구간 값으로 사용하는 최소 수면 구간 결정 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한, 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안 방식과 기존 IEEE 802.16e 수면 모드 방식에 대하여 에너지 소모량 및 막힘확률에 대한 성능을 비교 평가한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 기존 IEEE 802.16e 수면 모드 알고리즘과 비교하여 막힘확률은 동일한 성능을 보이나, 에너지 소모량은 약 30%의 절감효과를 보인다.

공기식 집열창 시스템이 설치된 건물의 동적부하 해석 (Time Dependent Thermal Load Analysis of the Building with an Airflow Window System)

  • It has been known that the application of an airflow window system reduces the energy consumption compared with conventional double pane window in a building. But how to analyze thermal load in a building with an airflow window system has not been well known. so two kinds of method (Mode 1 and Mode 2) to analyze time dependent thermal load of the building with an airflow window system are presented in this study. The results of load analysis about the model building(total area : $4521m^2$, 3 floors) by Mode 2 show that the maximum cooling and heating load in a building with an airflow window system are decreased about 12-17% and about 19.5% than with double pane glass window, and yearly energy consumption with an airflow window system is saved about about 20% than with double pane glass window.

  • This paper presents a full-adder using current-mode multiple valued logic CMOS circuits. This paper compares propagation delay, power consumption, and PDP(Power Delay Product) compared with conventional circuit. This circuit is designed with a samsung 0.35um n-well 2-poly 3-metal CMOS technology. Designed circuits are simulated and verified by HSPICE. Proposed full-adder has 2.25 ns of propagation delay and 0.21 mW of power consumption.

윤리적 소비와 소비가치의 관계에 대한 소비자 인식 변화: 소셜 빅데이터를 활용한 윤리적 소비와 소비가치의 키워드 변화 분석을 중심으로 (A Study on the Changes in Consumer Perceptions of the Relationship between Ethical Consumption and Consumption Value: Focusing on Analyzing Ethical Consumption and Consumption Value Keyword Changes Using Big Data)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze big data to identify the sub-dimensions of ethical consumption, as well as the consumption value associated with ethical consumption that changes over time. For this study, data were collected from Naver and Daum using the keyword 'ethical consumption' and frequency and matrix data were extracted through Textom, for the period January 1, 2016, to December 31, 2018. In addition, a two-way mode network analysis was conducted using the UCINET 6.0 program and visualized using the NetDraw function. The results of text mining show increasing keyword frequency year-on-year, indicating that interest in ethical consumption has grown. The sub-dimensions derived for 2014 and 2015 are fair trade, ethical consumption, eco-friendly products, and cooperatives and for 2016 are fair trade, ethical consumption, eco-friendly products and animal welfare. The results of deriving consumption value keywords were classified as emotional value, social value, functional value and conditional value. The influence of functional value was found to be growing over time. Through network analysis, the relationship between the sub-dimensions of ethical consumption and consumption values derived each year from 2014 to 2018 showed a significantly strong correlation between eco-friendly product consumption and emotional value, social value, functional value and conditional value.

전류모드 OFDM FFT LSI를 위한 전류모드 직병렬/병직렬 변환기 (Current-Mode Serial-to-Parallel and Parallel-to-Serial Converter for Current-Mode OFDM FFT LSI)

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 무선 통신 시스템에서 빠른 데이터전송 방식으로서 사용되고 있는 OFDM 통신방식의 저소비전력화 방안을 제안한다. 일반적으로 OFDM에서 주요 신호처리 방식은 디지털을 이용한 프리에 변환이다. 이런 디지털 프리에 변환은 많은 소비전력이 필요하며 이것은 무선통신 시스템에 있어서 커다란 제약이 되고 있다. 전류모드를 이용한 아날로그 프리에 변환(FFT) LSI는 이러한 소비전력의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 주요 대안으로 떠오르고 있다. 그러나 이러한 신호처리 방식을 사용하기 위해서는 전류모드를 이용한 직병렬/병직렬 변환기(Serial-to-Parallel/Parallel-to-Serial Converter)가 필수적으로 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 전류모드로 구성한 아날로그 프리에 변환(FFT) LSI를 이용해 수신단의 저소비전력을 실현하기 위해 필수적인 새로운 전류모드 직병렬/병직렬 변환기를 제시하였으며 설계된 칩의 측정결과가 시뮬레이션 결과와 일치하는 것을 확인하였다. 제안된 전류모드 직병렬/병직렬 변환기의 개발로 저소비전력에 큰 장점을 지니고 있는 아날로그 FFT LSI의 활용이 가능해졌으며 송수신단 시스템에서 큰 소비전력의 감소효과를 가져올 것으로 기대된다.

  • this paper analyses how much acceleration and deceleration of urban rail vehicle should be applied and how to choose an operation mode to minimize energy consumption when train runs between stations within the fixed operation time. The decided operation pattern satisfying the minimum energy consumption becomes a target trajectory and a basis for the controller design criteria. To make this goal it grasps the characteristics of urban rail vehicle, realize operation energy model of urban rail vehicle and verity the accuracy of embodied model the Matlab simulation with the same operation result of real route. It searches for operation pattern to minimize operation energy by changing the acceleration and deceleration on the imaginative route and proposes operation pattern minimizing energy consumption by applying real operation data between stations of Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 6.

WLTC 모드에서의 LPG 연료 적용에 따른 하이브리드 자동차 에너지소비효율 분석 (Analysis of Energy Consumption Efficiency for a Hybrid Electric Vehicle According to the Application of LPG Fuel in WLTC Mode)

  • Recently, the global automobile market is rapidly changing from internal combustion engine vehicles to eco-friendly vehicles including electric vehicles. Among eco-friendly vehicles, LPG vehicles are low in fine dust and are suggested as a realistic way to replace diesel vehicles. In addition, it is more economical than gasoline in its class, showing a cost-saving effect. In Korea, the business of converting gasoline into LPG is active. Research is being conducted to apply this to hybrid vehicles. In this study, the difference in energy consumption efficiency was analyzed when LPG fuel was applied by selecting a 2-liter GDI hybrid electric vehicle. The operation of the hybrid system according to various driving characteristics was confirmed by selecting the WLTC mode. As a result, it was confirmed that the BSFC was about 5% lower than that of gasoline fuel when using LPG fuel. This is due to the active operation of the motor while driving. Optimization is required as battery consumption increases from an energy perspective.
