Purpose: In this study we investigate the determinants of private label (PL) purchase intention in South Korea. Private labels are becoming more and more popular in America and European countries. However, there are not enough studies focusing on PL within the South Korean market. Therefore, the present study has been written in order to understand more about consumers' purchase intention of store brand in the South Korean market. Many characteristics and aspects of consumers and brand's behavior have been reviewed in order to bring relevant results. Research design, data and methodology: Data was collected using a quantitative survey of Korea retail store's consumer. We analyzed using multiple regression method to test the hypothesis. We analyzed how and why do consumers have a strong intention to purchase the PL. Results: a) Trust towards retailer influences the PL purchase intention of customers; b) brand awareness has an impact on the PL purchase intention of customers; c) perceived quality has an impact on the PL purchase intention; d) Price-quality relationship influences on the PL purchase intention. However, there is no direct effect of some of the factors of determinant. Conclusion: For private label products in the Korean market, trust in sellers and brand awareness influences the purchase of PL products.

While green packaging related concerns are mainly studied in developed countries, there is a lack of knowledge to observe purchase behavior toward green packaging in developing countries, especially in Vietnam. Buying green packaged products in FMCG is not required to trade-off between sustainability and product performance. Hence, this present research aims to understand the gap attitude - behavior existing on FMCG green packaged products among Vietnamese young consumers with psychosocial factors (environmental concern, environmental knowledge of green packaging and green trust) and contextual factors (availability of desired green packaging and product attributes). With a sample size of 396 respondents, data was collected by convenient sampling method and then was analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results reveal that all psychosocial factors are positive related to attitudes while purchase behavior is positively influenced. The findings also report that contextual factors have positive impacts on purchase behavior, which proves the important role of contextual factors in influencing consumer choices. It suggests that green packaging is receptive to Vietnamese young consumers but it should be considered within product-related context to enhance the difference in sustainability among similar FMCG products. Practical implications for marketers and future researches have also been discussed at the end of study.
Purpose: As sharing economy is becoming increasingly relevant to people's lives, we want to understand why people participate in the sharing economy. We propose and validate three factors that are likely to influence consumers' choice of participating in the sharing economy at distribution market. Also, we found antecedents that affect these variables. These antecedents include appointment and return convenient, extended operating time, variety-seeking need, usage irregularity, other's clean usage, and feeling of membership between users. Research design, data, and methodology: This research collected 341 questionnaire data from participants in China. These participants were asked about the usage of DiDi, the most popular shareware in China. The data analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using SPSS and Amos. Results: Usage convenience, usefulness of short-term usage, and trust in other users were found to have a positive impact on consumers' intention to participate in the sharing economy. In addition, we found that all the antecedents affect these variables positively. Conclusions: This research provides new driving factors for consumer participation in the sharing economy. Moreover, these findings will help managers develop marketing strategies for inducing the consumers to participate in the sharing economy.
Buyers' Trust in suppliers is critical in all commerce, but particularly in the relationship between foreign provider and local consumer due to the liability of foreignness. This study examines (1)how local consumers trust in the product of MNCs is affected by their perceptions of the product attributes, (2)does the product trust affects customers loyalty, and (3)whether Global Corporate Citizenship moderates the relationship between the product attributes and trust. Based on previous researches, hypotheses are formulated and the statistical method used to test them was a moderated regression analysis using SPSS 20. 330 respondents from the university student group in Korea were used for this analysis. The results of this study are follows: Service communication and product perceptions such as quality, technological newness, design, and brand value have a significant effect on the product trust. The Effectiveness of product-related service communication had greater than that of the physical characteristics of product. But, price fairness is not significantly. The trust then has a positive relation to customers loyalty. When global corporate citizenship as the moderating role is introduced into the model, the interaction terms with 'price fairness' are verified to be significant. Therefore, global corporate citizenship moderates the relationship between price fairness and product trust. The results of the empirical study provide important implications for Korean firms operating in foreign markets. But, the findings are limited to the University students and to manufacturing sectors. Thus, the generalization of the results of this research remains limited.

The study examines the relationship between perceived mental benefits, online trust, and personal information disclosure when shopping online in Vietnam. The e-commerce market has been booming in Vietnam since 2015. The number of online transactions and e-commerce sites has increased steadily in recent years. However, the number of online sales in Vietnam is still not high, and consumers are still limited in buying from websites when they have to provide too much information during and after the shopping process. The mix-method is used to ensure the scientific nature of the study. Qualitative research method (phenomenological research) along with the quantitative research method (survey) are applied to meet the research objectives. The data in the study was collected through the group discussion with eight experts and the survey with 917 respondents. Data processing result via SmartPLS software indicate the positive relationships between the factors in the research. The perceived mental benefits have the most potent influence on the online trust of Vietnamese customers; at the same time, both the perceived mental benefits and online trust affect customers personal information disclosure in electronic commerce. Some managerial implications relating increasing the perceived mental benefits, and customers' online trust are proposed for online businesses.

This study empirically investigates the design factors that could engender positive impacts on consumers' user experiences with respect to trust, attitude, and intent to purchase a product promoted in the virtual reality (VR) e-commerce environment. Guided by previous literature, we specifically test the role of schema congruity due to the design of the space and virtual agent on trust, attitude, and purchase intention in the context of VR e-commerce. To test the effect of the congruency between user's schema and virtual environment design on user intentions, a 2 × 2 mixed ANOVA design experiment was conducted with place creativity (Low vs. High) as a within factor and workplace attire (Casual vs. Formal) as a between factor. The result showed support for the effect of schema congruity on trust, in that interaction of the two factors were found. Significant positive relationship between trust, attitude, and purchase intention was found. Further implications are discussed based on results.
Purpose: This study attempts to explain why online luxury shopping malls have implemented a difficult registration process and membership fees. These features weaken online shopping convenience, one of the major reasons why people shop online instead of offline. Therefore, this study scrutinizes the effects of membership features on trust, focusing on the moderating effects of registration difficulty and membership fees. Research design, data and methodology: A survey method with a total of 296 survey data was used. A 2 × 2 × 2 factorial design was employed. The three independent variables are price discount rate (20% vs. 70%), registration difficulty (low vs. high), and membership fees (yes vs. no). Results: The results reveal that a price discount rate has a negative effect on trust, whereas membership fees and registration difficulty moderate its negative effect on trust. Conclusions: A high price discount rate lowers trust for online luxury shopping malls. Meanwhile, registration difficulty and membership fees can be used to prevent consumers from losing trust caused by the high price discount rate. Therefore, registration difficulty and membership fees are signals implying that not everyone can use these private online shopping malls, which provide low prices for luxury items.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of consumer's relationship benefit perception on consumer's relationship quality and loyalty in internet shopping mall. The survey was limited to the respondents over 20 years old living in Seoul and other metropolitan areas who had purchased fashion products in internet shopping mall. Questionnaire was collected from November 1, 2011 to November 12, 2011. The structural equation model was constructed to verify hypotheses and 562 useful data were analyzed using SPSS 17.0 and AMOS 19. The results of this study were as follows: First, consumer's relationship benefit perception was classified into economic benefit, psychological benefit, and informational benefit. Second, economic benefit and psychological benefit had a significantly positive effect on consumer's satisfaction and trust. Also both benefit dimensions showed a stronger effect on satisfaction than on trust. Third, informational benefit showed a significantly positive effect only on trust. Finally, consumer's satisfaction affected loyalty via trust more strongly than consumer's satisfaction affected loyalty directly. It suggested that internet shopping mall marketers need to provide the strategic method to make consumers have a trust for the internet shopping mall.
