유기농 커피 선택 동기가 소비자태도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 서울 지역 유기농 커피 전문점을 중심으로 - (Impact of Choice Motives on Consumer Attitudes and Purchase Intentions regarding Organic Coffee - Study Performed at Organic Coffee Shops in and around Seoul -)

  • This study aimed to examine the choice motives for organic coffee and investigate how these motives influence consumer attitudes and purchase intentions regarding organic coffee. A survey was administered to people visiting organic coffee shops in Seoul. Analyses of frequency, descriptive statistics, factor and reliability, ANOVA, correlation, and regression were conducted using SPSS 20.0. Six factors were demonstrated as motives for choosing organic coffee: health, price, reliability, familiarity, sensory appeal, and environment friendliness. Among six factors, "reliability" and "environment friendliness" were positively associated with consumer attitudes, which had a significant impact on purchase intentions. This study is one of the first to examine the relationship between consumer attitudes and purchase intentions focusing on organic coffee. Although the organic coffee market has high potential, its theoretical background has been under developed. By revealing choice motives for organic coffee, this study could provide basic information on how to satisfy consumer needs and promote purchasing. In addition, by understanding needs of diverse and specific coffee consumer groups, effective marketing strategies can be developed with a focus on organic coffee. Especially, environment-friendly and reliable organic coffee can satisfy consumers, maximize profits, and improve brand value.

인구사회학적 특성에 따른 웰빙식품관련정보의 요구도 (Consumer Needs for Well-Being Food Related Information by Sociodemographic Characteristics)

  • Today, consumers need more information of well-being related food with an increase of interests in health. Thus it is important to understand and provide well-being food related information to consumers. This study was performed to investigate consumer needs for well-being food related information. The needs scores (5-point Likert scale) to well-being food related information were high over all. The highest score was observed in 'disease care and diet therapy' (4.05 point). 'Functionality of well-being food' and 'safety and hazard of food' were followed having high scores (individually 4.00, 3.99 point). Female subjects had higher information needs than male subjects for well-being food related information such as 'balance of diet', 'nutrients' and 'recipe of well-being food'. The needs for well-being food related information increased by age, although subjects who were over 50 had a decrease in information needs. There was a significant positive correlation between the majority of well-being food related information and educational level. Information needs were not significantly different by income. Conclusively, well-being food related information should be provided to consumers according to the individual needs and ultimately consumers will improve their efficiency and satisfaction in using well-being food related information.

소비자중재합의의 효력에 관한 미국 법원의 태도와 함의 (The U.S. Courts' Attitudes towards the Validity of Consumer Arbitrations)

  • Today's arbitrations see themselves as the most effective scheme for dispute resolution in a variety of transactional context. While some kind of ADR system was already introduced in Korea as of 2007 with revision of the Consumer Basic Law, consumers' needs in dispute resolution remain unmet. Recently one consumer arbitration case divides the U.S. Supreme Court. Of course, the result of the case is expected to affect tens of millions of arbitration agreements in the States which has the most developed scheme in consumer arbitrations. While Arbitration clauses in adhesion contracts are not automatically held to be substantively unconscionable, Class action waivers are one of the most controversial issues in consumer arbitration. In this study, with the theoretical background of consumer arbitrations general, and contractual defenses against adhesive contracts, reviewed are U.S. federal courts' attitudes toward certain consumer arbitration agreements including the class arbitration waiver. Moreover, several issues in AT&T case are examined for practical implications for consumer dispute resolution. All of these are expected to initiate further research to find some guidelines for the proper status and operation of consumer arbitration here in Korea.

  • 섬유 패션 산업은 소비자의 구매 욕구를 예측하여 제품을 개발하는 경우가 빈번하며, 예측이 잘못될 때는 즉 소비자들이 특정제품을 외면하는 경우 할인판매를 통해 제품을 처리해야 하는 문제점을 안고 있다. 반면에 신속대응 시스템은 소비자의 욕구를 지속적으로 관찰하여 신속하게 제품개발 및 생산일정을 수립함으로써 불필요한 재고가 쌓이는 경우를 사전에 방지할 수 있게 한다 소비자의 욕구는 POS 시스템에서 창출되는 자료를 통해 수집 분석되고 이런 소비자의 선호도는 네트워크를 통해 실시간으로 관련 제조업자에게 제공되어 제조업자들이 소비자의 선호도에 부합하는 제품을 개발, 생산, 제공할 수 있도록 해준다. 본 연구에서는 신속대응 시스템의 주요한 목표인 신기술의 접목을 통하여 의류제품의 기획, 구매, 생산, 유통과정 상의 재고 수준의 절감 및 과정 소요기간의 단축, 의류제조업자와 소매업자간의 보다 나은 협조체계의 개발, 소비자의 욕구에 적절히 대응하는 시스템을 학생들에게 교육할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였는데 신속대응 시스템을 위한 섬유 패션 스트림간 상품 기획 프로그램을 개발하였다.

뉴 실버 여성의 원마일 컴포트웨어 제품개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of One-Mile Comfort Wear Products for New Silver Women)

  • Currently, Korea is on the verge of entering into an ultra-aged society and the associated market size is growing. In this regard, customer-centered design that understands the consumer needs of the new silver generation, which is emerging as a new consumer group, and reflects them in products is the key to the success of the high-value-added fashion industry. Therefore, this study reviewed the changes in physical, biological, social, and psychological characteristics of the new silver generation, through a review of related books and previous studies, and secured the direction for clothing product development for the new silver generation. The literature review was supplemented by group interviews to accurately identify the needs of silver consumers. In addition, the study conducted case analysis through web searches of fashion magazines, newspaper articles, brand web sites, and trend information sites to investigate the market trends of one-mile wear products that have emerged due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the characteristics of one-mile wear brands, and products for new silver women, including size specification analysis and sewing techniques that minimize skin irritation while reflecting the consumer's characteristics. Based on the results of this study, a competitive design and product development were proposed from an economic and industrial perspective that can enhance the product value and maximize the marketing effect by developing consumer-oriented one-mile comfort wear products with aesthetic, practical, functional, and economic values that satisfy the characteristics and needs of new silver women.

  • 타 산업, 특히 제조업 분야의 경우 급격한 기술 및 인터넷 환경의 발전으로 인해 시장이 세분화 되고 다품종 소량생산의 체제로 변화하였다. 이러한 사회적 변화는 주택 시장에도 변화를 간져와 공급자 중심에서 수요자 중심의 시장으로 변화하고 있으며 주택에 대한 소비자의 요구사항도 날로 다양해지고 있다. 이러한 소비자의 요구에 부응하여 설계 시점부터 소비자와 상담을 통하여 맞춤 서비스를 제공하는 맞춤형 아파트가 도입되었으나 아직 초기 단계이기 때문에 맞춤형 아파트의 운영에 있어 많은 문제점이 드러나고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 향후 맞춤형 아파트의 문제점을 개선하기 위한 전 단계로. 맞춤형 아파트에 대한 개념을 재정립하고 최근의 공동주택 공급 전략 및 맞춤형 아파트의 현황을 파악하였다.

QFD 기반에 의한 제화류의 감성지향적 품질설계 요소도출에 관한 실증적 연구 (Development of Customer-Oriented Quality Design Elements of Shoes based on QFD)

  • Although consumer needs for better products force manufactures to put emphasis on design, often development of a product has been done without the formal process to consider consumer needs. In order to identify the implicit needs of customers and the areas of potential demand on a product, several analysis scheme such as QFD (Quality Function Deployment) has been developed. QFD, also known as the House of Quality, is the efficient tool ever created to tie product and service design decisions directly to customer wants and needs, i.e. VoC (Voice of Customer) To utilize this tool on a product design, first of all, the consumers attributes and the engineering characteristics must be exactly investigated. However there were only few studies about them on shoe design. Hence in this paper we developed an innovative framework for shoes design based on QFD. As a result, we uncovered 29 dominant human satisfaction dimensions as the consumers attributes for customer-oriented quality evaluation of a comfortable shoes. Here, 29 human satisfaction dimensions for a shoe design were identified as the dimensions that represent the human sensitivity and psychological feeling on comfortable shoes. Also, we proposed 60 human interface elements as the engineering characteristics. The relationships between human satisfaction dimensions and human interface elements were investigated. This study will help the designers and manufacturers clarify the conceptual and abstract aspect of the design evaluation by proposing a more systematic and process-oriented method.

모바일 쇼핑몰의 속성이 소비자의 충성도에 미치는 효과 : 소비자의 O2O 서비스 경험여부를 조절변수로 (The Effects of Mobile Shopping Mall Attributes on Consumer Loyalty : Consumers' Experience with O2O Service as a Moderating Variable)

  • As mobile shopping has been increasing, the competition has been also increasing to satisfy various consumers' needs. Despite such increase in terms of the volume of the consumers who use mobile shopping, there has been very few studies to examine characteristics of mobile shopping malls. The purpose of this empirical study is to investigate the effect of characteristics of mobile shopping malls on consumer loyalty and the interaction effect of the O2O experience on the relationship between the characteristics of mobile shopping malls and consumer loyalty. Using a sample of 276 individuals who have experienced mobile shopping, we found that certain characteristics such as ubiquity, personalization, or convenience have a positive impact on consumer loyalty and a design characteristic solely has an interaction effect on consumer loyalty. As consumer loyalty has a critical factor on mobile shopping mall's profit, examining which factor has a positive effect on consumer loyalty is beneficial for mobile shopping malls. The results of the study have both practical and empirical implications.

신도시 생활밀접업종에 관한 시민 니즈 빅데이터 분석 연구 (Big Data Analysis of the Citizen's Needs regarding the Life-friendly Businesses in New City)

  • 일상생활에 필요한 상점의 존재는 주민의 주거환경 만족도를 높여주는 요인이 되며, 창업자의 입장에서 지역주민의 니즈가 높은 업종의 창업은 사업 성공을 좌우하는 요인이 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 일상생활과 밀접한 업종의 창업현황을 알아보고, 이러한 상점의 형성이 신도시 초기 소비자 니즈에 부합하는지 분석하여 창업자와 소비자가 모두 윈윈할 수 있는 의미있는 결과를 도출하고자 한다. S시를 대상으로 신도시 출범 직후부터 현재까지의 생활밀접업종 현황과 시민의 니즈를 분석한 결과, 생활밀접업종에 대한 주민의 니즈는 새로운 거주지로 이주시 가장 중요하게 생각하는 니즈가 도시 조성 초반에 강하게 나타나는 특성을 가지고 있다. 그리고 정착 과정에서 니즈의 해소 및 증대에 따라, 니즈의 크기가 변화하는 특성을 가지고 있다. S시의 경우, 교육에 대한 니즈가 도시 조성 초반 강하게 나타나며, 시간의 흐름에 따라 일정부분 약해지는 특성을 보인다. 반면 생활의 기본요건이라고 할 수 있는 음식에 대한 니즈는 낮게 시작해서 지속적으로 증대되는 특성을 가지고 있다.
