초등학생들의 생활과 연계된 실과교과의 실천성 연구 (A Study on the "Praxis" which are Perceived by Elementary Students on Practical Arts Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the practical problems that 6th grade students are facing, how they perceive Practical Arts education and the praxis of Practical Arts education relating to the problems, and whether the content of Practical Arts curriculum is useful for solving practical problems of 6th grade students. The data used in this study are collected from questionnaires and include in-depth interviews in order to make up for the quantitative research. The major findings of this study were summarized as follows. 1. Elementary school students regarded Practical Arts education as the subject matter through which they learn skills of life. They thought it is useful to their present and future life and to nurture environment-friendly attitude. Furthermore, elementary school students perceive that the meaning of practice in Practical Arts education lies not in praxis as practical action, but in just practice as technical action. 2. According to the survey based on their perception and their practical problems, 66.9% of students answered the learning content of Practical Arts education is not useful in solving their problems. And only 33.4% of students answered the learning content of Practical Arts education is useful in solving their problems. Negative view was predominant among elementary school students. And the Practical Arts curriculum does not reflect much of the practical problems that 6th grade students face. Through these results, Practical Arts education turns out to be hardly related with students' life, though it is the subject matter of students' real life.

가구의 소득분위별 가계부채 주관적 상환부담요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Determinants of Subjective Repayment Burden in Household Debt by Income Quintile Groups)

  • 최근 가계부채의 급증과 경제적 변화는 가구의 현금 흐름에 많은 영향을 미치고 있고, 높은 원리금 상환부담으로 부실위험이 증가하였다. 이에 선행연구들은 가계부채에 대한 객관적 상환부담지표를 구성하여 다양한 논의를 진행하고 있지만, 수요자 인식에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 부족하였다. 본 연구는 2016년 가계금융복지조사를 이용하여 가구의 소득분위별 가계부채 주관적 상환부담요인을 도출하여 비교 분석하였다. 연구결과는 소득 1 2분위에서 월세, 신용카드대출, 주거마련 대출비율이 높을수록 원리금 상환에 대한 부담이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 소득 3 4분위는 60대 이상, 가구원수, 부동산담보대출이 많을수록 원리금 상환에 대한 부담이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 소득 5분위는 부채상환마련 대출비율이 높을수록 원리금 상환에 대한 부담이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Consumer perceptions on sustainable practices implemented in foodservice organizations in Korea

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Sustainable practices in foodservice organizations including commercial and noncommercial ones are critical to ensure the protection of the environment for the future. With the rapid growth of the foodservice industry, wiser usage of input sources such as food, utilities, and single use packaging should be reconsidered for future generations. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the customer's perceptions on sustainable practices and to identify the relationship among sustainable practices, social contribution and purchase intention. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The study was conducted using content analyses by reviewing articles on sustainable food service practices published domestically and abroad. Thereafter, data were collected with a face-to-face survey using a questionnaire and analyzed with factor analyses and multiple regressions. RESULTS: Sustainable practices classified with factor analysis consisted of 6 dimensions of green food material procurement, sustainable food preparation, green packaging, preservation of energy, waste management, and public relations on green activity, with a total of 25 green activities in foodservice operations. Consumers were not very familiar with the green activities implemented in the foodservice unit, with the lowest awareness of "green food material procurement (2.46 out of 5 points)", and the highest awareness of "green packaging (3.74)" and "waste management (3.28). The factors influencing the perception of social contribution by foodservice organizations among 6 sustainable practice dimensions were found to be public relations on green activity (${\beta}=0.154$), waste management (${\beta}=0.204$) and sustainable food preparation (${\beta}=0.183$). Green packaging (${\beta}=0.107$) and the social contribution of the foodservice organization (${\beta}=0.761$) had strong relationships with the image of the organization. The purchase intentions of customers was affected only by the foodservice image (${\beta}=0.775$). CONCLUSIONS: The results of this study suggest that sustainable practices by foodservice organization present a good image to customers and increase the awareness of valuable contributions that benefit the customer as well as the community.

지속가능한 의생활과 의류 미세플라스틱 의식 연구 -인조모피와 플리스를 중심으로- (Consumers' Sustainable Clothing Habits and Perceptions on Microplastics Shedded from Clothing -Focused on Fleece and Faux Fur-)

  • The study aims to assess the current status of sustainable clothing habits from the perspective of consumers. Awareness and management behavior regarding microplastics from fashion products and usage of fleece and faux fur were investigated. A random online survey involving 413 women was conducted to figure out their perceptions on microplastics that are shedded from fashion products such as fleece and faux fur. The results indicate that 73.6% were not aware of the fact that microplastic is released during the washing process of fleece and faux fur. Furthermore, only 26.6% of the respondents who were aware of microplastics from clothing washing were making efforts to reduce its emission. The respondents considered product sustainability more in the selection stage than in the management stage (p<.001). The results revealed that, although the respondents were highly aware of the risk of environmental pollution that microplastics pose, they were neither fully cognizant of the fact that microplastics may come from fashion products, nor did they make efforts to reduce its emissions. Compared with respondents in their 20's, respondents in the age of 30-40 years seemed more aware of microplastics from fashion products and exerted more effort to reduce its emission.

한류브랜드의 세계성과 지역성이 베트남 소비자들의 한국제품에 대한 태도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 화장품을 중심으로 (The Effects of Korean Wave Brand's Globalness and Localness on Vietnamese Consumers' Attitude toward Korean Products and Purchase Intention: Focussing on Cosmetics)

  • 본 연구는 베트남 소비자들이 한류브랜드를 어떻게 지각하느냐에 따라 한국 제품에 대한 소비자 태도와 구매하고자 하는 의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지를 검증하고자 하였다. 특히 본 연구는 기존연구를 바탕으로 한류의 관점에서 지각된 한류브랜드의 세계성과 지역성의 두 가지 하위개념으로 나누어 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한 베트남 현지 조사기관과 기존연구에서 조사된 바와 같이 한국화장품이 한국과 한류를 가장 잘 반영한다는 점에서 한국화장품을 대표적인 한국제품으로 선정하였다. 가설검증을 위해 베트남 소비자를 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시한 결과, 총 212부가 유효 표본으로 선정되었다. 분석 결과 베트남 소비자들이 지각하는 한류브랜드의 세계성과 지역성 모두 한국제품에 대한 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 이러한 제품에 대한 호의적인 태도는 한국제품을 구매하고자 하는 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

환경관심, 환경지식, 소비가치가 업사이클 제품의 구매의도 및 구매행동에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Environmental Concern, Environmental Knowledge, and Consumer Value on Purchase Intention and Behavior of Up-cycled Products )

  • With the increase in online shopping and delivery food consumption since the pandemic, solving environmental problems caused by single-use packaging has become an important issue. 'Upcycling' is a combination of 'Upgrade' and 'Recycle', and it is the rebirth of obsolete or discarded objects by adding new value to them, and there are currently various upcycled products on the market. In order to activate upcycling, consumers' awareness of the environment and their values for consumption are very important. This study aims to investigate the influence of students' environmental concern, environmental experience, and consumption value on their purchase intention of upcycled products. Based on the results of previous studies on environmental concern, environmental experience, and consumption value, hypotheses were set, and a survey was conducted among university students nationwide to test the hypotheses. The results of this study are as follows First, environmental concern has a significant positive effect on purchase intention of upcycled products. It can be seen that the more environmental concerns such as global warming and waste disposal problems increase, the more positive attitudes toward upcycled products increase. Second, the research hypothesis that environmental knowledge will have a positive effect on the purchase intention of upcycled products is rejected. It was found that environmental knowledge is acquired through environmental education and many SNS, but it does not have a direct effect on the purchase intention of upcycled products. Third, it was found that the consumption value of college students has a positive effect on the purchase intention of upcycled products by increasing their positive perception of upcycled products. Fourth, college students' purchase intention of upcycled products has a positive effect on their behavioral intention to purchase upcycled products. The results of the study provide implications for relevant organizations such as universities and companies to effectively design upcycling-related education. It is also expected to have a positive impact on the use of upcycled products by providing basic information on the characteristics of consumers who purchase upcycled products.

컨조인트 분석을 이용한 나노기술의 부정적 영향에 대한 일반인과 전문가의 인식분석 (Public and Experts Perception Analysis about Negative Effects in Nanotechnology Based on Conjoint Analysis)

  • Nanotechnology has been growing constantly and it is becoming the leading technology in scientific research and development. Although nanotechnology has important applications in broad variety of fields without boundary of any particular industrial area, the study of nanotechnology related to its commercialization has been conducted in a few ways. To put that figure in context, this study investigates public and expert perceptions about negative potentials of nanotechnology. Through a series of surveys with public (N = 541) and experts (N = 62), we analyzed about public willingness to pay for nano-applied products. Survey results showed that public and experts preferred nano-applied products in the order of electronics, cosmetics, and food and medicine. Experts express high payment intention to electronics rather than public intention. In addition, the survey results showed the purchasing intention of both public and expert group was affected by the attributes of nano-applied products in the order of risk fatality, risk chance, certification, and labeling. But experts put more importance in risk fatality than risk chance comparing to public. Through the case analysis of the effects of labeling and certification, we revealed either labeling or certification can induce both public and experts to buy the nano-applied products with high risk chance and low risk fatality. However, for the nano-applied product with high risk fatality and low risk chance, both labeling and certification are simultaneously required to make customers have positive purchasing intention. The result of this study could be utilized for the nanotechnology-based company to get the consumer behavior information about nano-based product and to establish their marketing strategy.

외식기업의 정보원천이 신뢰, 구전의도, 그리고 온라인 구전의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Information Sources on Trust, WOM Intention, and eWOM Intention in the Restaurant Sector)

  • Purpose: In the restaurant sector, it has been known that consumers' positive perception of brands influences their positive WOM intention, and information sources play an important role in increasing credibility by enhancing consumer awareness and developing differentiated brands. This study examines the effects of information sources (e.g., advertisement, WOM, SNS) on trust (cognitive and affective) and, WOM and eWOM intention in the restaurant context. In the model, cognitive and affective trust play mediating roles in the relationships between information sources (e.g., advertisement, WOM, SNS) WOM and eWOM intention. Research design, data, and methodology: Research models and hypotheses were developed according to the research direction. The survey questionnaire items were developed and used appropriately according to the contents of this paper based on prior studies. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and validated in prior studies. A total of 502 responses were collected from an online survey. The research model was evaluated using SmartPLS 4.0. Frequency analysis was performed to understand the demographic characteristics of the survey respondents. The reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity were assessed using measurement model analysis. The proposed model was verified using the structural equation model. Results: Advertisement, WOM, and SNS information sources all had a positive effect on affective trust, whereas only WOM had a significant effect on cognitive trust. In addition, affective trust had a positive effect on cognitive trust and eWOM intention but did not affect WOM intention. Finally, cognitive trust was found to have a positive effect on both WOM intention and eWOM intention. Conclusions: This study redefines the concept of where restaurant service companies should focus when providing consumers with information about their products and services. As a result, the conceptual framework of positive word of mouth intention to increase new customer visits to the restaurant brand has been expanded. In addition, this study not only presents an information source management strategy for restaurant brands, but also presents practical implications for resource allocation guidelines for customer management in the restaurant sector.

가공식품 및 외식 영양표시에 대한 소비자인식조사 (A Survey on Customers' Perceptions of Nutrition Labeling for Processed Food and Restaurant Meal)

  • 본 연구에서는 가공식품 및 외식업체 메뉴의 영양표시 시행에 대한 소비자들의 인식도를 조사하였다. 본 조사는 전국 20세~59세의 부모 1,507명을 대상으로 하여 전화면담으로 이루어졌다. 전체응답자의 89.8%가 가공식품에 영양표시가 있다는 것을 알고 있었으며, 응답자중 72.3%가 식품 구입시 영양표시를 확인하는 것으로 나타났다. 우선적으로 확인하는 영양표시 항목은 지방 (57.1%), 열량 (56.3%), 나트륨 (49.0%)이었으며, 알기 쉽고 눈에 잘 띄도록 표시되기를 원하는 항목은 트랜스지방 (62.1%), 콜레스테롤 (26.9%), 열량 (23.9%), 나트륨 (21.0%)순이었다. 외식에 영양표시를 시행할 경우 90.6%의 응답자는 영양표시가 메뉴선택에 영향을 미칠 수 있다고 응답하였다. 패스트푸드 이외에 영양표시 시행을 원하는 외식업체는 '피자 및 치킨'이 60.7%로 가장 높았다. 외식영양표시 시행 시우선적으로 표시하기를 원하는 영양성분은 열량 (62.0%), 지방 (60.3%), 나트륨 (50.9%)으로 나타났다. 본 조사결과 소비자들은 외식 영양표시 실시에 대하여 매우 호의적이며, 표시영양성분 중 열량을 가장 중요시 하는 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 소비자가 현명하게 식품을 선택할 수 있는 제도가 마련되어야 할 필요가 있는 것으로 사료된다.

중국 공동주택의 범죄 예방을 위한 디자인과 소비자의 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Crime Prevention Design and Consumer Perception (CPTED) of Multi-Family Housing in China)

  • 공동주택은 사람들이 생활하고 거주하는 중요한 장소이자 소통 공간으로서 그 주거 환경의 좋고 나쁨이 주민의 행복감과 안정감에 직접적인 영향을 미치기 때문에 이에 기반한 공동주택의 범죄예방디자인(CPTED)이 필요하다. 하지만, 중국의 범죄 관련 데이터를 대중에게 공개하지 않고 있어 중국의 학자들은 정확한 범죄 데이터에 대한 추가적인 연구를 수행하기 어려운 상황이다. 이로 인해 범죄예방 측면에서 범죄예방디자인의 이론 구축과 적용이 늦어지고 있다. 본 연구는 공동주택의 범죄예방디자인에 대한 소비자의 인식, 각 요소의 중요도, 공동주택 범죄예방디자인 인식개선 방안 등 세 가지 측면을 연구하여 공동주택의 범죄예방디자인 원칙을 효과적으로 개선하고, 공공의 안전을 향상하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 본 연구는 중국 주택 소비자의 범죄예방에 대한 인지도를 파악하기 위해 관련 연구 보고서와 선행문헌을 통해 중국 범죄예방디자인의 현황 및 개발 동향을 조사했다. 또한, 중국 소비자의 공동주택에 대한 범죄예방디자인 인식과 공동주택 범죄예방디자인 각 요소의 중요도 와 인식개선 방안을 파악하기 위해 중국 소비자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 리커트 척도(Likert Scale)에 기반한 설문 조사와 통계 패키지인 SPSS의 신뢰도 분석을 이용하여 공동주택 범죄예방디자인의 인지 상황, 각 요소의 중요도와 개선 방안을 도출하였다. 본 연구가 실제 효과에 대한 검증이 부족한 점을 고려할 때, 향후 연구에서는 범죄예방디자인의 효과를 검증하고 보다 실질적인 결과를 도출하는 연구가 필요하다. 더불어, 지역 특성에 맞는 안전 솔루션을 도입하고 주민들의 안전 의식을 높이는 교육과 정보 확산을 통해 지역사회의 안전을 촉진하는 방안을 연구하는 것도 중요하다. 연구 결과를 통해 도출된 공동주택의 범죄예방디자인에 대한 인식도와 각 요소의 중요도 및 개선 방안은 향후 중국 지역을 기반으로 한 공동주택 범죄예방디자인 개발에 기초 자료로 활용되길 기대한다.
