The purpose of this study is to recognize the importance of sustaining the coal industry in spite of the declaration of new climate change regime. Due to the importance to have the ability to control the supply and demand for energy source, this study will present the ground supporting the need to save some fixed amount of coal to carry out this task. The relative quantity of fossil fuel like coal and oil consumed as an energy source is reduced due to the increasing portion of renewable energy sources. Nevertheless, we can verify the fact that the position as a main energy source in demand for and supply of electric power is still valid. And the optimal amount of coal storage is estimated through the average annual amount of demand derived from preceding studies. In this context, it is very urgent problem to maintain the coal industry as a industrial policy for the sustainable national economic growth through the coal storage policy and to determine the optimal amount of annual storage.

Industrial control systems consist of various physical devices such as sensors, actuators. Security Infringement such as waterworks facilities Remote Access Infringement and power control systems Infection have been occured by vulnerability of Access Control. Access control to physical devices must be fulfilled with a reliable system. However, Having a single access control system inside company can not guarantee reliability. In addition, when single access control is struggled with error or infringement, access control system is totally unavailable. so system requires a additional access control method or system. In this paper, we proposed access control mechanism for reliable and stable operation using blockchain and smart contract. Proposed Mechanism using trust score to consider resources to be consumed depending on each industrial environment in consideration of the industrial control system where availability is more important than integrity and confidentiality. Unlike other blockchain-based access control system, proposed system is designed for the currently operating industrial control system.

Most of the data envelopment analysis (DEA) models evaluate the relative efficiency of a decision making unit (DMU) based on the assumption that inputs in a specific period are consumed to produce the output in the same period of time. However, there may be some time lag between the consumption of input resources and the production of outputs. A few models to handle the concept of the time lag effect have been proposed. This paper suggests a new multi-period input DEA model considering the consistent time lag effects. Consistency of time lag effect means that the time delay for the same input factor or output factor are consistent throughout the periods. It is more realistic than the time lag effect for the same output or input factor can vary over the periods. The suggested model is an output-oriented model in order to adopt the consistent time lag effect. We analyze the results of the suggested model and the existing multi period input model with a sample data set from a long-term national research and development program in Korea. We show that the suggested model may have the better discrimination power than existing model while the ranking of DMUs is not different by two nonparametric tests.

Korea has achieved a rapid economic development and with the increase in population and national income and the expansion of social and economic activities, energy consumption has rapidly increased too. Energy consumption per head has constantly increased and currently, power consumption per head is 7.5 times bigger than in 1985. Buildings occupy 25% of total energy consumption and especially, 50% of total energy is consumed for heating and cooling. In this situation, multi-family housing, which has constantly been increased, has an energy saving rate of 1.9%, which is the lowest level and this makes the government's energy policy for sustainable energy system development useless. Besides, energy consumption leads to secondary problems, such as air, water and marine pollution and heat pollution and wastewater/drainage and the increased use of fossil fuel is a fundamental reason for ozone layer destruction and global warming. Therefore, efficient energy consumption plans are required. This study aims to analyze energy performance in each block type of high-rise and diversified multi-family housing that accounts for 60% of all the housing forms, depending on the variations in stories through BIM-based energy simulation. For this study, four representative block types were selected, based on the multi-family floor plan, which is certified for energy performance evaluation and they were applied to the floor plan of a multi-family house that is scheduled to be built. Then BIM modeling was conducted from the fifth story to the 40th story at an intervals of 5 stories and based on the finding, energy characteristics of each block type and energy performance depending on the variations in stories were analyzed. It is considered that this would serve as objective data for block type and block story decision of energy performance-based multi-family housing.

In order to reduce transmission delay and increase reliability in networks, mainly high-performance and high-power network equipment is used to guarantee network quality. In this paper, we propose an optimization algorithm to minimize the energy consumed when transmitting traffic in networks with a bundle link composed of multiple physical cables. The proposed optimization algorithm is a meta-heuristic method, which uses tabu search algorithm. In addition, it is designed to minimize transmission energy by minimizing the cables on the paths of the source and destination nodes for each traffic. In the proposed optimization algorithm, performance evaluation was performed in terms of the number of cables used in the transmission and the link utilization for all traffic on networks, and the performance evaluation result confirmed the superior performance than the previously proposed method.
[Purpose] The aim of this review was to discuss the effects of vitamin D on physical performance and musculoskeletal injuries in athletes and provide information on the field applications of vitamin D. [Methods] A systematic review was conducted to identify studies on vitamin D in athletes that assessed serum vitamin D levels, vitamin D and physical performance, vitamin D and musculoskeletal injuries, and practical guidelines for supplementation of vitamin D. [Results] Several studies reported that a high proportion of athletes had vitamin D insufficiency or deficiency. Low serum levels of vitamin D in athletes were more pronounced in winter than in other seasons, and indoor athletes had lower serum vitamin D levels than outdoor athletes. Low vitamin D levels have been demonstrated to have negative effects on muscle strength, power, and endurance; increase stress fractures and other musculoskeletal injuries; and affect acute muscle injuries and inflammation following high-intensity exercises. Therefore, periodic assessment and monitoring of vitamin D levels are necessary in athletes; the recommended serum level of 25(OH)D is > 32 ng/mL and the preferred level is > 40 ng/mL (-1). In those with low levels of vitamin D, exposure to sunlight and an improved diet or supplements may be helpful. Particularly, 2000-6000 IU of supplemental vitamin D3 can be consumed daily. [Conclusion] Vitamin D is a potential nutritional factor that can significantly affect physical performance and musculoskeletal injuries in athletes. The importance and role of vitamin D in athletes should be emphasized, and the current levels of vitamin D should be assessed. Therefore, it is essential to periodically evaluate and monitor serum vitamin D levels in athletes.

Data required in a wireless sensor network environment requires more accurate figures as technology advances and its complexity increases. However, in the case of operating a large number of sensor nodes in a large area, the balance between the power consumed and the data quality that can be acquired accordingly should be considered for that purpose. In particular, in complex, densely populated urban areas or military operations with specific goals, location data requires increasingly detailed and high accuracy over a wide range. In this paper, we propose a method of mounting a Global Positioning System(: GPS) only on some of the sensor nodes deployed in the wireless sensor network and improving the error of GPS location data measured on that sensor node through Angle of Arrival(: AoA) and Received Signal Strength Indicator(: RSSI).
Radish and Chinese cabbage are the most produced and consumed vegetables in Korea. The mechanization of harvesting operations is necessary to minimize the need for manual labor. This study to develop and evaluate the performance of a multi-purpose driving platform that can apply modular Radish and Chinese cabbage harvesting devices. The multi-purpose driving platform consisted of driving, device control, engine, hydraulic, harvesting, conveying, and loading part. Radish and Chinese cabbage harvesting conducted using the multi-purpose driving platform each harvesting module. The performance of the multi-purpose driving platform was evaluated the field efficiency and loss rate. The total Radish harvesting operation time 34.3 min., including 28.8 min., of harvesting time, 1.9 min., of turning time, and 3.6 min., of replacement time of bulk bag. During Radish harvesting, the field efficiency and average loss rate of the multi-purpose driving platform were 2.0 hr/10a and 3.1 %. Chinese cabbage harvesting operation 49.3 min., including 26.6 min., of harvesting time, 4.6 min., of turning time, and 18.1 min., of replacement time of bulk bag. During Chinese cabbage harvesting, the field efficiency and average loss rate of the multi-purpose driving platform 2.1 hr/10a and 0.1 %. Performance evaluation of the multi-purpose driving platform that harvesting work was possible by installing Radish and Chinese cabbage harvest modules. Performance analysis through harvest performance evaluation in various Radish and Chinese cabbage cultivation environments is necessary.

Energy consumption as well as performance should be considered when designing up-to-date multicore processors. In this paper, we propose new design technique to reduce the energy consumption in the instruction cache for multicore processors by using modified filter cache. The filter cache has been recognized as one of the most energy-efficient design techniques for singlecore processors. The energy consumed in the instruction cache accounts for a significant portion of total processor energy consumption. Therefore, energy-aware instruction cache design techniques are essential to reduce the energy consumption in a multicore processor. The proposed technique reduces the energy consumption in the instruction cache for multicore processors by reducing the number of accesses to the level-1 instruction cache. We evaluate the proposed design using a simulation infrastructure based on SimpleScalar and CACTI. Simulation results show that the proposed architecture reduces the energy consumption in the instruction cache for multicore processors by up to 3.4% compared to the conventional filter cache architecture. Moreover, the proposed architecture shows better performance over the conventional filter cache architecture.

As a method to understand the ecological habits around the artificial reef, various reports such as fishing gear survey, diving, sound survey, underwater CCTV and camera, etc. are reported. Among them, the sound survey method is carried out by installing an acoustic system on the ship and can be investigated regardless of the marine environment such as time constraints and turbidity. Such method, however, takes a lot of manpower and time as the ship travels at a constant speed. Investigations around artificial reefs are being conducted in an artificial way, and a lot of time and labor are consumed as such. Maritime buoys have been operated for various purposes such as route signs, weather observation, marine environment monitoring and defense monitoring for navigation safety in the past, but studies on monitoring systems for ecological habits and distribution of fish using marine buoys are remarkably insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to develop a system that allows users to directly monitor fish group detector data by estimating the distribution of fish groups around artificial reefs and using wireless communication at sea. In order to confirm the suitability of the maritime buoy used in this study, it was operated to compare data using LTE-equipped buoys capable of wireless communication and a data logger-type system buoy. Data transmission of buoys capable of LTE communication was carried out in a 10-minute ON, 10-minute OFF method due to the limitation of the power supply capacity, and data of the data logger-type buoy received full data. We compared and analyzed the data received from the two fish detectors. It is expected that real-time monitoring of the wireless buoy detection device using LTE will be possible through future research.
