Earthquake had occurred in the Korean Peninsula about 2,100 times is not well known in the world. With the true liquefaction judgment is well used to in Korea. Through liquefaction judgements were compared with specifications between Korea and Japan, it would be offered some suggestions for liquefaction judgement used in Korea. The proposals were as 1) It can be known that what kind of earthquake will make unstable state between long-term and short-term earthquake if the natural period of ground turned out. In that case, Hachinohe and Ofunato Earthquake wave will need no more. 2) Liquefaction-induced lateral flow or damage for structure should be estimate but it had not performed in Korea. 3) Heavy rain and ocean wave-induced liquefaction also should be examined thoroughly in slope or ocean, respectively.

에너지관리, 제어 시스템(EMS)은 전력계통의 실시간 제어 및 총체적인 관리를 최대화하기 하여 컴퓨터 및 통신 시스템으로 구축된 제어시스템이다. 본 EMS의 주요특성은, 첫째 상당히 빠른 속도로 발전되는 컴퓨터 및 통신 기술들을 수시로 수용할 수 있는 기능, 둘째 상대적으로 지속적이며 오래토록 사용되는 수학적인 알고리즘 및 Buiness Rule들을 처리하는 소프트웨어를 급변하는 Computing 환경에서 적응해 갈 수 있는 기능, 셋째 Heterogenous한 시스템에 접속시킬 수 있는 Database를 갖추었다. 끝으로, 대형 전력계통의 Modeling과 이에 부합하는 실시간 Data로 자동화된 전력계통 실시간 운영상의 결과들을 해석 및 검증하였다.

Construction projects are facing delay problems. Delays in construction have been immense effect on performance or satisfactory delivery of the project. Delays have been causing project cost overrun as well as it is a source of dispute hence damaging the relationship between the project participants. The purpose of this study was to explore the causes of delay risk through a field survey study. Data were collected from construction professionals working in owner, consultant and contractor organizations. All together 208 questionnaire instruments were used and analyzed by employing statistical tools (SPSS computer program). 19 delay factors were identified by this study, out of which following factors were critical: Frequent interruptions from public (local people, pressure group etc.), changed site condition, failure to provide required construction site, unrealistic project time estimation and design errors.

Because of the characteristics of the cyber world, such as usefulness, anonymousness, patency, economic performance, rapidness, etc., cyber counseling has great possibility. Because he or she may not meet a consultant directly, a client can expose his/her inside problems or secret personal problems, keeping anonymousness. However, existing cyber counseling has the limit in durability of counseling because target counseling appropriate to a client is impossible and a counseling activity is done by one time counseling. In this paper, we attempt to develop a target cyber counseling system in which target cyber counseling is possible. The system will use a counseling assistance agent who can play the role of a counseling supporter as well as a counselor in the cyber space. If target counseling becomes possible, it can heighten efficiency of cyber counseling because a client is satisfied with the result of counseling and thus counseling activities can be continued.

Artificial Intelligence(AI) is that branch of computer science that deals with designing computer system that exhibit some of the characteristics associated with intelligence on human behaviors such as, understanding natural language, reasoning, solving problems, robotics and so on. The most developed component of artificial intelligence today is probably the expert system. An expert system is defined as a computer program that embodies organized knowledge concerning some specific domain of human expertise and programmed to perform convincingly as an advisory consultant in the given domain with self-explanation of reasoning on demand. This paper describes general concept of artificial intelligence and expert system and investigates applicability of expert system to ship design.

However, the country show signs of not meeting the expectation of retaining its long-term industrial competitiveness and economic growth, especially with a widening rich-poor gap and natural resource exhaustion. Realizing inclusive growth requires study of an inclusive innovation solution. In this paper, we analyze the feasibility and development path of China's inclusive innovation based on the framework of a National Innovation System, identify examples of inclusive innovation in China, and seek to provide policy suggestions for China's future sustainable development.

Little research has been done regarding the explicit and objective analysis and explanation of the spatial logic of traditional Korean settlement patterns, in spite of many archeological and socio-historical studies. In this paper we present research into spatial mechanisms and their social meanings in three traditional villages in the southern province of Korea. Conventional space-syntax analysis of spatial configuration has been used to analysis and investigate the morphological forms and functions of the traditional villages. The research results show that the traditional Korean villages are spatially deeper and syntactically less connected than other comparable urban forms, such as old European cities. Configurational analysis of the three villages reveals that their spatial structures are configured to have their own spatial logic, not a geometric order but a spatial structure. What is however noteworthy is the way they embrace their own environmental context and factors and implement them into the process of urban growth or spatial construction.

There has been a defect dispute of apartment building in Korea. The defect dispute is complicated by main issues and details of dispute. It is yet to be solved. Meanwhile, a judge does not a inspection and analysis, but, related field expert who contracted professional engineer does. As a result, defect consulting report that an important judgment is used in a defect dispute. Therefore, this study does research on structure of defect consulting report. A defect consulting report has same items, irrespective of a defect consultant as a result that check 7 indexes about 10 cases. It has different structure's details depending on each defect consultants. And, it inserts new detail or deletes existing detail, does not show clear distinction.

A study is carried out to evaluate the stresses for steel box girder support diaphragm using finite elements method. This study includes the stress characteristic compared with experimental method for diaphragm design. The results from the finite elements method are compare with the results from experimental investigations and shown to give good agreement. The shear stresses were generally uniformed in the outer plane. increased rapidly above the bearing. The horizontal direct stresses were generally low except in the vicinity of the bearing and opening comer where a local increase in compressive stresses occured.
