  • Shipping and logistics safety, security system is strengthening worldwide, the development of shipping and logistics safety security core technology for national security logistics system construction has been carried out. In addition, it is necessary to localize the Array Detection System, which is a core component of the container search machine, to cope with the 100% pre-inspection of the container scheduled for 2018 in the United States. In this research, we propose a test software program developed by using TI-RTOS (Texas Instruments - Real Time Operating System) with a test digital signal processing board which is developed self development. We have developed a program that can test GPIO, SRAM, TCP/IP, and SDcard using M4 MCU. Also we propose a study on a self-developed Digital Signal Processing Board among the array detection systems that replace foreign products. We have developed a test board that can test M4 MCU and developed an X-Ray Detector Digital Signal Processing Board that combines MCU and FPGA.

Design of Congestion Standardization System Based on IoT (IoT를 접목한 지하철 객차 내 혼잡도 평준화 시스템 설계)

  • The Seoul Metropolitan Subway, which started operating in 1974, plays a major role in transporting 7,289 thousands passengers daily. This trend of a steadily increase in passengers from 2012 has increased the congestion rate because of the limited capacity and time. To solve this problem, Seoul city is consistently working on improving the subway facilities, such as the construction of a detour path. This project, however, has only a slight effect on improving the congestion rate and is too expensive to construct the facilities. Hence, this study suggests The Congestion Standardization System based on the IoT for improving the subway congestion rate. Based on the system, the expected effect analysis was performed, which resulted in a decrease in ride passengers from 34 to 20. In addition, this expected effect analysis shows that the number of subway vehicles can increase from 20 to 24. The suggested system will have a significant effect on the efficiency of the management system.

Characterization of Repairing Polyurethane for Trenchless Sewer Pipeline (비굴착 하수관로용 폴리우레탄 보수재 특성 평가)

  • There is commonly used the full depth excavation method of sewer pipeline maintenance in Korea. This induces couple of technical and social problems like increase of construction cost and time for excavation and backfill, increase of public complains and delay of traffic, and so force. In order to overcome these problems, lots of laboratory tests were carried out for sewer pipeline of maintenance materials with trenchless methods. The testing materials are liquid and hardened polyurethane, and polyurethane CIPP. The lab tests were followed by Korean Standard. There are no side effects, like harmless to the human body and air pollution with stink. Judging from the limited test results, all the items tested were satisfied the KS criteria.

A Dynamic Service Architecture for Adaptable Mobile Smartwork System (적응형 모바일 스마트워크 시스템을 위한 동적 서비스 아키텍쳐)

  • There is increasing demand for enterprise smartwork system by a mobile device increases in these days. Therefore, it has been suggested in the technical platform of smartwork system. But,the research of the changeable smartwork system for quick and immediate correspondence of rapidly changing business affairs is insufficient. In this paper, we propose an adaptable mobile service architecture that can be based on the construction of flexible mobile smartwork system. This adaptable mobile service architecture is possible to dynamic service connecting the adaptable service in an existing smartwork system, and the core elements of the adaptable mobile service architecture propose 'Adaptable Service Manager', 'HotSpot', and 'Configurator'. We propose the dyanmic service processs that based on These core elements. Also, we verify the feasibility through case study that develop the project management mobile service that is usable in business of enterprise. Thus, this research provides the adaptable mobile service architecture that can provide the dynamic mobile service beyond the static mobile service of the existing smartwork system for the various change business of enterprise.

  • The scale and required functionality of modern systems have increased and become more complicated. To successfully carry out the systems development projects, appropriate systems engineering (SE) and project management (PM) activities are required for the underlying process. In a system development organization, it is an effort to secure the SE & PM capability by adopting the CMMI is an evaluation model of improvement and ability of SE&PM process. To achieve the goal each organization establishes and uses its own organizational standard process, which satisfies the business characteristics. However, in practice, due to the lack of sufficient understanding on the interrelationship among different CMMI process areas, there still exist some difficulties with constructing organization processes. In systems development, the activities of SE are closely related with those of PM. Thus, the processes of SE and PM need to be fully integrated and explicitly linked to each other in order to complete the projects successfully. In this paper, we propose a SE&PM integration process architecture of organization that can be utilized in the system development organization is referenced in the construction of CMMI-based organizational process.

Fundamental Properties on the Development of High Performance Shrinkage Reducing Agent for Concrete (콘크리트용 고성능 수축저감제 개발에 대한 기초적 특성)

  • The expenses of maintenance and reinforcement for aged concrete structures are significantly on the increase as their durability and general performance has been naturally degraded. Due to this reason, interests on concrete crack reduction technology are growing but more researches are required to fulfill such fast growing demands. Particularly in the underground power facilities, it is difficult to maintain the quality of aging concrete spheres for underground power as their deterioration caused by long-term operation is on-going. In recent years, many studies have been made to overcome the issues and now it is determined that the shrinkage reducing technology which can dramatically reduce the crack at the design stage is one of the most effective solutions. In this study, the test investigated fundamental propertiesof concrete using various shrinkage reducing materials to develop low shrinkage mortar. According to results of experimental study, for mortar and concrete, glycol based material showed excellent shrinkage property and compressive strength. For the later study to generic application of the shrinkage reducing materials, performance reviews on the shrinkage reducing materials with variable factors and various materials such as changes in the amount and type of materials should be followed.

Development and Validation of an Instrument to Assess Hospital Workers' Perception for Protection of Personal Health Information (의료기관 근로자의 환자 개인정보 보호 인식에 대한 평가도구 개발 및 검증)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and examine a validity and reliability of an instrument to assess hospital workers' perception for protection of personal health information. The process included construction of a conceptual framework, generation of initial items, verification of content validity, preliminary study, and extraction of final items. Content validity was verified by 3 experts from nursing and health information management areas, and the construct validity was evaluated by item analysis, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. The reliability was examined by Cronbach's alpha. The participants were 279 hospital workers including nurses, administrative officers, and other medical health professionals. Using a confirmatory factor analysis, a four-factor structure was validated with construct validity. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient of a total of 13 items categorized into 4 factors was .83. Finally, the instrument is a valid and reliable to assess hospital workers' perception for protection of personal health information.

A Guideline for Development of Track-Bridge Structural System with Sliding Layer to Reduce the Track-Bridge Interaction (궤도-교량 상호작용 저감을 위한 슬라이드 층이 고려된 궤도-교량 구조시스템의 개발 방향)

  • The bridges take a significant part of entire route in Korea railway, because 70% of Korean territory is covered with mountains. For this reason, span enlargement of railway bridges is more advantageous to increase economic efficiency on the bridge design. However there are many limitations such as additional axial force of the rail, excessive displacement due to track-bridge interaction. In this study, track-bridge interaction analysis was conducted considering the sliding layer which was installed between the track and girder. From the numerical analysis results, the behavior of track-bridge interaction was investigated according to the installation method of sliding layer. Finally, a guideline for development of track-bridge structure system to reduce the track-bridge interaction was proposed.

A Performance Evaluation of Concrete for Low-carbon Eco-friendly PC Box for Near-surface Transit System (저심도 철도시스템 구축을 위한 저탄소 친환경 PC 박스용 콘크리트의 성능 평가)

  • Low-carbon eco-friendly precast concrete (PC) box structure has been recently was developed as an low-cost infrastructure of near-surface transit system. The concrete of PC box was manufactured by industrial byproducts such as ground granulated blast furnace (GGBF) slag, flyash and rapid-cooling electric arc furnace (EAF) oxidizing slag, its mechanical property and durability were estimated in this study. Based on the mechanical and durability tests, it is found that low-carbon eco-friendly concrete shows high initial compressive strength, more than 90% of design strength (35MPa), and high resistance to salt-attack, chemical- attack and freeze-thaw. Therefore, low-carbon eco-friendly PC box concrete technology is expected to contribute to the railway with low environmental impact.

  • The concept of sustainability in residential area is closely related to the notion of amenity, livability, health and interchangeably used with the terms of urban growth management, urban regeneration, new urbanism, urban village movement, compact development, smart growth and the quality of residential environment. Residential Performance Management System (RPMS This system is developed granted by 'Korea Institute of Construction & Transportation Technology Evaluation and Planning' (KICTEP) during 2005-2008.)is a kind of decision making supportive program developed for the evaluation and assessment of various urban performances. It can be utilized for various purposes by many of urban related expert like planner, manager, etc. This study investigate the schematic model for the applying the indicators of quality of residential environment developed by SDI (Seoul Development Institute) using RPMS.
