플러그묘 취출장치 개발 (Development of a Pick-up Device for Plug-Seedlings)

  • A seedling pick-up device for vegetable transplanters was developed and its work performance was evaluated at the laboratory. The pick-up device extracts seedlings from a 200-cell tray of seedlings and transfers them to the place where they are to be transplanted into the soil. The device consists of a path generator, pick-up pins and a pin driver. The path generator is a five-bar mechanism comprised of a fixed link, a driving link, a driven link, a connecting link and a slider. The slider is constrained to move along the driven link and a fixed slot of combined straight-line and circular paths. The connecting link joins the driving link and the slider. When the slider moves along the straight-line path of the slot it takes seedlings out from the cell and transfers them to the transplanting hopper when moving along the circular path. A proto-type of the pick-up device was built and tested under the various operational conditions such as age of seedling, approach direction and penetration depth of pins to the cell, holding method of seedling and extracting velocity. The device extracted 30 seedlings per minute with the maximum success ratio of 97% using the seedlings of 23 days old. Some design details were also discussed and suggested to enhance the performance of the device.

Glia as a Link between Neuroinflammation and Neuropathic Pain

  • Contemporary studies illustrate that peripheral injuries activate glial components of the peripheral and central cellular circuitry. The subsequent release of glial stressors or activating signals contributes to neuropathic pain and neuroinflammation. Recent studies document the importance of glia in the development and persistence of neuropathic pain and neuroinflammation as a connecting link, thereby focusing attention on the glial pathology as the general underlying factor in essentially all age-related neurodegenerative diseases. There is wide agreement that excessive glial activation is a key process in nervous system disorders involving the release of strong pro-inflammatory cytokines, which can trigger worsening of multiple disease states. This review will briefly discuss the recent findings that have shed light on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of glia as a connecting link between neuropathic pain and neuroinflammation.

  • This thesis is concerned with fault-tolerance of a B-net (Beta-network) which is a kind of interconnection network in the multicomputer system. In this paper, a method for obtaining Maximal Tolerable Fault Set(MTFS) of link line connecting switching elements in the arbitrary B-net is presented. Using this method, it is seen that testing of DFA capability is possible when s-a-faults of link line occur, and criterion for determining degree of fault- tolerance of a B-net in terms of link line is introduced.

기중 차단기용 전자석 조작기 및 3절 링크 설계 (Design of Electromagnetic Actuator with Three-Link Mechanism for Air Circuit Breaker)

  • In this paper, an electromagnetic force driving actuator (EMFA) and three-link mechanism are proposed as a driving mechanism and connection device for low voltage air circuit breaker (ACB). As the result of dynamic characteristic analysis, the actuator and link mechanism are designed from the simulation and manufactured. The magneitc field of the EMFA is analyzed using the finite element method (FEM). The dynamic characteristic analysis with calculation of the circuit equation and kinetical equation is performed by the time difference method (TDM). Also, the result of the analysis is verified through the experiment of the fabrication model. In this paper, the EMFA size is smaller than the actuator for high voltage circuit breaker. Thus, the dynamic characteristic is analyzed with end-winding inductance that is calculated by the same method which is applied on the circle type end-winding of motors. The designed model for 1600 ampere-frame ACB and the three-link mechanism for connecting contact part with actuating part are manufactured. It is confirmed that the three-link mechanism is possible for improving the circuit breaker efficiency and reducing the size of the EMFA. It is proved that the improved 2-D analysis is more accurate than established method.

운전 유형에 따른 가로구간 사고모형 개발 (Developing the Traffic Accident Models of Arterial Link Sections by Driving Type)

  • This study deals with the accident models of arterial link sections by driving type. The objectives is to develop models by driving type using the accident data of 24 arterial links in Cheong-ju. In pursuing the above, this study gives particular emphasis to modeling such the accidents as the straight, lane change and others. The main results analyzed are as follows. First, the number of accidents is analyzed to account for about 59% in straight, 31% in lane change and 10% in others. Second, the number of left-turn lane as common variables, and the ADT, number of pedestrian crossings, connecting roads and link length as specific variables are selected in developing models(number of accident and EPDO). Third, 8 models which are all statistically significant are developed. Finally, RMSE of the driving type models was analyzed to be better than that of dummy variable.

  • 무기체계의 상호운용성 측면에서 전술데이터링크는 전장정보를 공유하기 위한 필수 요소이다. 또한 비용 절감을 위해 M&S 활용이 증가됨에 따라 다중 전술데이터링크 연동이 가능한 체계 시뮬레이터가 필요하다. 그래서 M&S 장비로써 전술데이터링크인 Link-11B와 ATDL-1 연동이 가능한 다중 전술데이터링크 체계 시뮬레이터를 제안한다. 이것은 Link-11B와 ATDL-1 전술데이터링크간 정보 전달을 가능하게 하며 M&S의 표준 인터페이스인 HLA/RTI와의 연동을 통해 상호운용성을 보장한다.

Experimental investigation of existing R/C frames strengthened by high dissipation steel link elements

  • This paper presents the results of an experimental program concerning the efficiency of a specific strengthening technique which utilizes a small steel link element connected to the R/C frame through bracing elements. Brittle types of failure, especially at the connections between steel and concrete elements, can be avoided by appropriate design of the local details. Five single storey one bay R/C frames scaled 1:3 were constructed according to older codes with substandard details. The first one was a typical bare reference frame. The other four were identical to the first one, strengthened by steel bracing elements. The behavior of the strengthened frames is described with respect to the reference bare frame. The concrete frames were constructed according to older code provisions by the use of smooth steel bars, low strength concrete, sparsely spaced stirrups and substandard details. The strengthening scheme aimed to the increase of both strength and deformation capacity of the original R/C frame. The inelastic deformations are purposely concentrated to a short steel link element connecting the steel bracing to the R/C frame. The results show that the steel link element can increase considerably the strength and the energy dissipation capacity of the frame.

지식활동의 관계식별을 위한 연계형 분류체계에 관한 연구 - 연구-기술-산업과 연구-전공-취업 연계 - (A New Model for Connecting the Classification Systems of Knowledge Activities - Linking Research-Technology-Industry and Research-Major-Job -)

  • 본고는 그간 독립적으로 존재해 왔던 학문분류 연구분류 기술분류 산업분류 전공분류 및 취업 분류와 같은 지식활동과 관련된 분류체계를 상호 연계시켜 종합적으로 보는 새로운 모형을 제시하고 그를 구체적으로 구현하는 방법을 다룬 것이다. 중 분야 이상의 의미를 갖는 학문분류와 소 분야 이하의 의미를 갖는 연구분류를 통합시킨 학문/연구분류는, 자체가 연구분야와 적용분야로 구성되는 2차원형이지만, 한편으로는 다양한 기술분류와 산업분류로 연계되고, 다른 한편으로는 전공(교육)분류와 취업분류로 연계된다. 연계시키는 방법은 두 개 이상의 분류체계를 동시에 기재하도록 하고, 그러한 기재를 허용하는 정보시스템과 데이터베이스를 갖추고, 필요에 따라 몇 개의 분류체계를 선택하여 동시에 사용하면 된다. 본고는 새로운 분류체계를 보이고자 한 것이지만 기본적인 의도는 분류체계를 넘어선다. 지식사회의 기본적인 활동인 지식활동을 종합적으로 파악하기 위한 수단을 강구하고자 한 것이다.
