Subarachnoid Hemorrhage and Intracerebral Hematoma due to Sildenafil Ingestion in a Young Adult

  • Sildenafil citrate ($Viagra^{(R)}$ Pfeizer US Pharmaceutical Group, New York, NY, USA) is a potent vasodilating agent to treat male erectile dysfunction. Among its adverse effects, hemorrhagic stroke has not been widely reported yet. We present a case of a 33-year-old healthy man who ingested 50 mg sildenafil a half hour before onset of headache, nervousness and speech disturbance. Head computed tomogram of this stuporous man showed huge intracerebral hemorrhage and thick subarachnoid hemorrhage, but angiography failed to disclose any vascular anomalies. Subsequent surgical procedure was followed, and rehabilitation was provided thereafter. Sildenafil seems to act by redistributing arterial blood flow, and concurrent sympathetic hyperactivity, which lead to such hemorrhagic presentation. Extreme caution should be paid on even in a young adult male patient wven without known risk factors.

  • As linear scheduling method has been used since 1929, Empire State Building linear schedule, it is being applied in various fields such as construction and manufacturing. When addressing concurrent critical path occurring on linear schedule of construction, the empirical researches stress the resource management which should be applied for optimizing work flow, flexible work productivity and continuos resource allocation. However, work relationships has been usually overlooked for making the linear schedule from existing network schedule. Therefore, this research analyze the previous researches related to linear scheduling model and then propose the method that can be applied for adopting the relationships of network schedule to the linear schedule.

  • In the Supply chain, The ATP(Available to Promise) function doesn't only give customers to conformation of delivery. It can be used by the core function with ATP rule that can reconcile supplies and demands on the supply chain. Therefore We can be acquire the conformation about on the due date of supplier by using the ATP function of management about real and concurrent access on the supply chain, also decide the affect about product availability due to forecasting or customer's orders through the ATP. In this paper, It consolidates the necessity on a ATP and analyzes data which is concerned of ATP. tinder the these environments, defines the ATP nile that can improve the customer value and data flow related the eCRM and builds on a algorithm.

  • Exploiting the instruction level parallelism encountered with the limit. Single chip multiprocessor was introduced to overcome the limit of traditional processor using the instruction level parallelism. Also, a branch miss prediction is one of the causes that reduce the processor performance. In order to overcome the problems, in this paper, we make single chip multiprocessor having the idle core execute the two control flow of conditional branch. This scheme is a kind of multi-path execution technique based on single chip multiprocessor architecture.

  • The challenge is to maximize the time-to-market benefits of concurrent engineering while maintaining control of data and distributing it automatically to the people who need it when they need it. The way PDM systems cope with this challenge is that master data is held only once in a secure vault where its integrity can be assured and all changes to it monitored, controlled and recorded. The structure of PDM is various from vendor, but they have common module. That is PDM and it is most important. The goal is to design the workflow in PDM using object-oriented modeling method. The past methods have concentrated on the flow between workflow engine and agent, but this paper will focus on task. We will model task as individual object. This paper uses OMT(Object Modeling Technique) by James Rumbaugh for base modeling tool and uses DCOM(Distributed Component Object Model) for base ORB(Object Request Broker). Research object is to design the static object model, to design state change by dynamic model and to design data transition by functional model.

  • In the supply chain, The ATP function doesn't only give customers to confirmation of delivery. It can be used by the core function with ATP rule that can reconcile supplies and demands on the supply chain. Therefore We can acquire the conformation about accuracy on the due date of supplier by using the ATP function of management about real and concurrent access on the supply chain, also can decide the affect about product availability due to forecasting or customer's orders through the ATP. This study analyze the data concerned with ATP and define the necessity on a SCM solution. Under the these environments, after defining the ATP rule that can improve the customer value and data flow related the CRM, we propose the advanced ATP model that proposes the method and classification system that can flexibly aggregate the ATP data with ATP rule on the supply chain.

Bilateral Atrioventricular Valve Dysplasia in a Middle Aged Turkish Angora Cat: A Case Report

  • A castrated, 6-year-old, male Turkish Angora cat with a history of respiratory distress was referred to the hospital. Physical examination revealed a cardiac murmur, and thoracic radiographic findings revealed pleural effusion and cardiomegaly. Echocardiography showed abnormality of the tricuspid and mitral valve, and color-flow Doppler imaging revealed regurgitation between both atrium and ventricle. Based on the echocardiographic examination, tricuspid valve dysplasia concurrent with mitral valve dysplasia was diagnosed. However, the patient died a week after treatment. In necropsy, bilateral atrioventricular valve dysplasia and left ventricular hypertrophy were confirmed. This is the first report to describe a middle age Turkish angora cat having bilateral atrioventricular valve dysplasia which has high mortality and only been reported rarely in cats. This case report also describes its clinical signs, diagnostic imaging findings, treatment and discussions how the patient could live long.

구형 축열체를 사용한 축열기의 성능예측: 압력손실과 열전달의 관계 (Performance Prediction of Heat Regenerators with using Spheres: Relation between Heat Transfer and Pressure Drop)

  • 본 연구에서는 배가스의 현열회수를 통해 연소기기의 열효율을 향상시키는 축열연소시스템에서 구형축열체를 이용한 축열기내 열유동을 해석할 수 있는 수치해석 코드를 개발하였다. 이를 통해 축열기내 비정상 열유동을 해석하고 축열기 길이를 포함한 축열기 형상과 축열체 구경에 따른 배열회수와 압력손실의 관계를 파악해 보았다. 수치해석은 1차원 2상 유체역학 모델을 도입하여 MacCormack방식으로 해를 얻었으며, 실험적 경향과 일치함을 알 수 있었다. 개발된 수치코드를 통해 얻은 결론은 축열기 길이가 길고 입자구경이 작으며 축열기내 유체 유속이 빠른 경우에 많은 배열을 회수할 수 있으나 압력손실이 커짐을 알 수 있었다.

사용자 평형을 이루는 통행분포와 통행배정을 위한 유전알고리즘 (A Genetic Algorithm for Trip Distribution and Traffic Assignment from Traffic Counts in a Stochastic User Equilibrium)

  • 혼잡한 교통네트워크에서 조사된 통행량으로부터 확률적 사용자 평형을 이루는 통행분포와 통행배정을 동시에 구하기 위한 네트워크 모델과 유전알고리즘을 제안하였다. 확률적 사용자 평형을 이루는 모델은 선형제약을 가진 비선형 목적함수를 최소화하는 문제로 정식화하였다. 네트워크 모델에서는 해의 탐색공간을 줄이고 조사된 통행량을 만족시키기 위해서 흐름보존제약을 활용하였다. 목적함수는 흐름보존, 통행발생량, 통행유입량, 조사통행량 등의 제약을 만족하는 링크통행량과, 경로통행배정을 통하여 구한, 확률적 사용자 평형을 이루는 경로통행량을 만족하는 링크통행량의 차이를 최소화하는 것으로 정식화하였다. 제안된 유전알고리즘에서 유전자는 통행분포, 링크통행량, 여행비용계수 등을 나타내는 벡터로 정의하였다. 각 유전자는 목적함수의 값으로 구한 적합도에 따라 평가되며, 병행단체교차와 돌연변이에 의하여 진화한다.

ADCP 계기 부근에서 발생하는 관측 오차의 실험 및 수치모의에 의한 고찰 (Investigation of Near.Transducer Errors in Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler Measurements Using Experimental and Numerical Method)

  • 본 논문은 ADCP 계측기기 부근에서 음향학적인 그리고 ADCP 계기로 인해 발생하는 흐름의 교란에 기인한 속도 오차에 대한 원인들을 실험 및 수치모의를 통해 고찰한다. 실험실에서의 연구는 선박에 탑재되지 않은 독립된 ADCP에 대해 수행하였고, 수평 및 수직면에서 ADCP에 의해 유발되는 흐름 교란은 ADV를 이용하여 관측하였다. 그리고 ADCP와 ADV의 동시적 측정이 ADCP계측에 있어 추가적인 계측기기 부근의 영향들을 고려하기 위해 수행되었다. 수치모의는 ADCP가 선박에 탑재되었을 때 ADCP 계기 부근에 발생하는 잠재적인 오차에 대해 연구하기 위해 설계되었다. 수치해석 기법 사용된 LES (Large Eddy Simulation)는 선박에 탑재된 ADCP에 작용하는 항력과 계기와 선박의 막음효과에 의해 발생하는 흐름의 교란의 크기와 범위를 모의하였다. 결과로 ADCP에 의해 관측된 속도는 계측기기 하단의 제한된 범위 내에서 일정 정도 오차를 보였고 교란되지 않은 하천의 흐름 조건에 따라 오차가 실질적으로 다르게 나타났다.
