Purpose: The study aims to delineate Shariah Governance Framework (SGF) by applying the components of New Institutional Theory (NIT) to provide an understanding of how Islamic banks theoretically influence Shariah Governance (SG) practice, structure, and process. Design/methodology/approach: As it is a conceptual paper, this paper has prepared based on an analytical approach to show how such institutions could provide a more effective system concerning the contents, procedures, and practices for the multiple users in the SG process of Islamic banks. Findings: The paper critically explores the adoption of NIT to develop SGF with its existing practice, structure, and procedure. Utilizing NIT, a proposed theoretical framework has developed for exploring the SG through its major components, i.e., 'isomorphism' and 'legitimacy'. It is stated that NIT can offer a useful framework by which homogenous structures, comprising guidelines, standards, and practices become recognized and authorized as a satisfactory standard corporate exercise. Thus, the proposed theoretical framework would be beneficial in understanding and exploring the SGF. Conclusion: The application of this SGF could help to justify the key dimensions of NIT with its overall formation, function, and practices that might also help to attain legitimacy.

Purpose: This study aimed to clarify the concept of pediatric hospice and palliative care through conceptual analysis. It also sought to identify the differences between related concepts such as pediatric death care and pediatric spiritual care, in order to provide foundational data for the development of nursing theory and knowledge. Methods: A conceptual analysis of pediatric hospice and palliative care was conducted using Rodgers' evolutionary method. Out of 5,013 papers identified, 28 were selected for detailed reading and analysis. Results: Pediatric hospice and palliative care encompasses physical, psychological, social, mental, spiritual, and family care for children with acute and chronic diseases with uncertain prognoses ahead of death, as well as their families. Effective pediatric hospice and palliative care will require multidisciplinary team nursing, effective communication, and supportive policies. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that providing pediatric hospice and palliative care will lead to improvements in pain relief for children and families, the efficiency of responses to death in children, and the quality of life for children and families. The significance of this study is that it clearly clarifies the concept by analyzing pediatric hospice and palliative care using an evolutionary method.

본 연구의 목적은 망원경에서 별빛이 결상되는 원리를 교사들이 어떻게 이해하고 있는지를 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 경기도와 서울지역의 지구과학 교사 101명을 대상으로 설명식 지필문항 검사를 수행하고, 지구과학교육 전공자 3명이 교차분석을 실시하였다. 대부분의 교사들이 볼록렌즈에서 상이 형성되는 과정에 대한 체계적인 개념을 가지고 있지 않았고, 특히 상의 개념과 스크린의 역할에 대한 이해가 많이 부족하였다. 또한 망원경에서 별빛이 결상되는 원리에 대한 과학적 개념을 가지고 있는 교사는 참여교사의 3%로 극히 낮았으며 거의 대부분의 교사들이 볼록렌즈나 빛의 단편적인 성질을 이용하여 별빛의 결상을 이해를 시도하는 비과학적 혹은 대체개념을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 영화 관람과정에서 이루어지는 관객의 정보처리 용이성과 선호도 유창성의 관계를 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 영화에 대한 정보처리의 유창성 정도가 영화의 선호도 결정 용이성에 영향을 주다고 가정하고, 선행연구를 토대로 영화의 처리 유창성을 물리적 특성의 식별 용이성인 영화의 지각적 유창성과 표적에 대한 의미 처리 용이성을 의미하는 개념적 유창성으로 구분하였다. 그리고 영화를 구성하는 표현 요소들을 지각적 유창성요인과 개념적 유창성요인으로 구분하여 이들의 영향 관계를 탐색하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 첫째, 영화의 개념적 유창성과 지각적 유창성은 모두 영화의 선호도 유창성에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소리 표현의 식별성과 배우의 역할 표현 식별성은 영화의 지각적 유창성에 영향을 주지만, 영상 표현의 식별성은 유의하지 않은 것으로 탐색되었다. 마지막으로, 대사 표현의 적합성과 스토리 구성력은 영화의 개념적 유창성에 영향을 주는 것으로 탐색되었다.

금속분말을 연료로 하는 연소기 개발에 있어 발생하는 문제점 중에 하나는 알루미나 slag 처리이다. 연소기 내부에 Water film을 형성시킴으로써 금속분말 연소기의 문제점을 해결할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 이를 위한 선행연구로 water film의 형성 조건에 대한 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 모델에 대하여 물 분사 속도가 증가할수록 원형 모델에 대한 water fim 각도가 작아져, 약 10 m/s이상에서 완전한 water film이 형성되는 것을 알 수 있었다.

This study sought to describe the relationships among physical environment, self-congruity, positive emotion, and revisit intentions in the coffeehouse setting. This study adopted second-order factor of physical environment in a structural equation model, imploying trend(fashion), cleanliness, reliability, spatial, convenience, and appropriacy as the second-order factors. The conceptual model in this study used responses from 338 college students who visited coffeehouse at least once in the past month. The proposed relationships were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 6.0. The results of data analysis indicated that the six secondorder factors of physical environment significantly affected coffeehouse visitor's self-congruity and positive emotion, and self-congruity as well as positive emotion significantly influenced revisit intentions. Further discussion and theoretical/practical implications of the findings along with directions for future studies are provided. In essence, the findings highlight significant role of coffeehouse's physical environment toward self-congruity and positive emotion in the formation of customer's revisit intentions in the coffeehouse context.

The article makes a discussion to conceptualize a histo-genetic principle in the real historical view point. The classical histo-genetic principle appeared in 19th century was founded by the recapitulation law suggested by biologist Haeckel, but recently it was shown that the theory on it is no longer true. To establish the alternative rationale, several metaphoric characterizations from the history of mathematics are suggested: among them, problem solving, transition of conceptual knowledge to procedural knowledge, generalization, abstraction, circulation from phenomenon to substance, encapsulation to algebraic representation, change of epistemological view, formation of algorithm, conjecture-proof-refutation, swing between theory and application, and so on.

Purpose: This study aims to determine the conceptual properties of work engagement in nursing professional groups, and to provide basic data for nursing personnel management. Methods: To identify a nurse's work engagement, data were analyzed according to Walker & Avant's concept analysis method. Results: The analysis identified four work engagement attributes in nursing professional groups, namely: vigour, dedication, absorption, and zest. Conclusion: To bolster nurses' engagement with their duties, it is necessary to provide opportunities and implement interventions such as incentive system in performance evaluation based on work engagement in nursing, appropriate education program, and positive work environment.

This paper addresses the need to incorporate the increasing trend of partnership formation among business firms into a framework for interorganizational systems. The existing frameworks for classifying interorganizational systems are either conceptually too complex to be readily applicable to IOS planning or too outdated to explain the emergence of numerous forms of global communication networks. Based upon two dimensions, namely value activity linkage and system support level, we propose a new IOS framework which classifies IOS into four types, including (1) operational cooperation, (2) resource pooling, (3) operational coordination, and (4) complementary partnership. We review select cases that fit into each IOS category and draw characteristics of systems of each category. The paper concludes with suggestions for applying the framework to the development of an IOS-enabled corporate strategy.

The article is timed to coincide with the thirtieth anniversary of Ukraine's independence. Based on the generalization of fundamental and applied studies of scientists, the author's vision of such category as the gender parity is conceptualized. Based on the analysis of historical events related to the development of the state, the formation of cultural and social values in determining the gender identity of modern society is substantiated. Based on the analysis of literary and regulatory sources, the structure of the state administration of Ukraine is visualized, which has become the basis for the diagnosis of gender aspects. Based on the analysis, the problems of gender parity in the public administration system of Ukraine are identified.
