Religion affects all the dimension of human beings, and at the same time it forms one dimension of human beings. Costume Is considered as a result that reflects the phases of the time and the characteristics of a wearer. Costume, also, has been influenced by religion that has led one's belief, social spirit and culture for a long period of time. The Eastern aesthetics has expanded the area of thoughts with the concepts that originated from Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Among the concepts, Non-Dualistic Theory is the core idea of Buddhism.'rho theory contains the moaning that one should not lean to one side between existence and nonexistence and should not be obsessed with the center. It was the most powerful Buddhistic idea that had an influence on Asian aesthetics. Korean traditional costume is not an exception. This study has a significance that it was conducted to understand the relation between religious principle and traditional custom through mainly using documentary records. The formative characteristics of Korean traditional costume influenced by Non-Dualistic Theory ran be summarized as non-structure like, indeterminate forms, amorphousness and anti-decoration such as plainness, temperance and achromatic color. Aesthetic value was expressed through 'the aesthetic of emptiness', 'the aesthetic of hiding', and 'the aesthetic of nature'. Although the appearance of a religious symbol can change, an essential element in religion lasts as human society remains. Although our clothing culture has converted to western style, Korean traditional aesthetics is placed deep inside of 'the Koreans' spirit and has a consistent effect on our overall culture of clothing.
This article aims to critically review recent U. S. RMA-centered theories of warfare having prevailed after the 1991-92 Gulf War upon which the current ROKA military transformation project, the Vision 2020, largely based. In order to evaluate validity as a universal warfighing theory of NCW (Network Centric Warfare) and EBO (Effects-Based Operations), this article reviews the intrinsic strength and weakness of the theories as well as results of several recent wars that the U. S. Army conducted based on doctrines derived form such theories, In addition, this article examines the impact of certain military technology or weapon system in some well-known historical wars to draw lessons regarding the relationship between technology(weapon system) and military victory. Historical examples has shown that victories in war were not achieved by new technologies alone in most cases. Rather military victories tended to owe to combination of new technology, original doctrine and well conceived organization. Although the U. S. Armed Forces showed brilliant records of operational successes anchored on the system of PGMs and NCW concepts in Iraq (1991-92; 2003) and Afghanistan (2001-02), it must be pointed out that the operational successes did not bring about political ones in cases of Iraq and Afghanistan. It reminds us of perils of too technologically tilted approach to the conduct of war. In sum, one ought to recognize that superior technology nowadays became a necessary condition of success but is not yet a sufficient condition, the ROKA needs to be abreast with development trends of military technologies and related theoretical concepts, it need not too be in a hurry in adopting cutting edged war-making technologies at the expense of large amount of budget. The essay recommends for the ROKA several basic requirements for coping with conduct of future wars as well as establishing a 'Korean style military thought'; (1) Recognition of importance of technology in conduct of war; (2) Imposition of officer self-study hours in working days; (3) Establishing a lifestyle of military professionalism in the Korean officer corps; (4) Setting up small or large groups of think-tanks that are specialized in army doctrinal formulation.
The space is formed in close connection with a human life style, and whose significance is interpreted and recognized by characteristics given in the life culture to which they belong to. The spacial concept in terms of recognition plays an important role in the design of spaces. The understandings of its identity is an indispensable factor to forming the proper relation between the human beings and the space. This paper is the inquiry and the arrangement for geographical, thinking, and beauty-conscious features of Japan by the researches on documentary records in order to reveal the relationship between recognition and space as mentioned aboved. Also this paper presents the frame(system) which can draw the method of space construction and its expression and then seize and analyze the reality of space by re-arrangement for these various cultural background on the center of the relationship with Japanese spacial cognition. And this paper analyzed and arranged expressive features for Japanese spacial concepts by applying this analysis frame to contemporary commercial spaces in Japan. In results this research revealed that Japanese spacial features is always in the consciousness for cognitive space on the design of space , and in the features the neutral and several layered spaces are showed in complexed and mutual connected forms. These may be the methods for the relationship establishment between human and space on the ground of unique spacial concepts which is commonly found not only in traditional spaces but also in contemporary spaces in Japan.
Ecological concepts were embedded in the old Korean maps and other documents. The concepts may represent ecological views which people had at the time. Through those ecological views, we propose that we can see a watershed concept in old Korean maps. We also discuss relevant records to understand the history of this concept. While many scholars have highlighted in the Baekdoodaegan frame only the pan of the mountain ranges, we are pointing out other perspectives. Our emphasis is that the concept is explicitly related to a watershed concept. An old Korean map shows that people at that time divided the Korean Peninsula into many watersheds, which was as early as 1402. We can even say that the idea is identified in a literal document written in the 12th century. It is hypothesized that a typical Korean landscape configuration was developed in the arrangement of village and surrounding landscape elements situated in a watershed. In addition, we suggest that the view had some negative effects on the current society. Even though the ideas of our ancestor are something to be praised, further study is needed to improve it in a wise manner.

Based on the barrier-free authentication indicators, the study analyzed the main concepts of archival information services and the service movement lines of users in archives. The study developed new indicators to evaluate records and information service environments by synthesizing all the concepts of information services, service movement lines, barrier-free authentication indicators and the regulations related to archival information services. The study can contribute to find out core problems of service environments in archives through utilizing the new indicators and scales, and to suggest alternatives to improve the environmental conditions for the disabled.
Objectives : This research aimed to 1) analyze the true meanings of the chapter, 'Wigi Haeng (Wei Qi Xing), the movement of guard qi' in Youngchu (Ling Shu) from the point of view of ancient Chinese Astronomy, 2) calculate the speed of Wigi over 24 Chinese seasons, 3) analyze the true meaning of daytime and nighttime in the chapter. Methods : 1) The chapter 'Wigi Haeng' was analyzed using concepts of ancient Chinese astronomy, 2) the records of angular distances of 28 constellations in the Book of Han (Han Shu) were used to analyze the meanings, and 3) the records of lengths of daytime and nighttime in the Book of Hou Han (Hou Han Shu) were used to calculate the speed of Wigi. Results : 1) The author of the chapter 'Wigi Haeng' did not consider the irregularity in the angular distances of the 28 Chinese constellations (Su). 2) The commentary in the Huangjenaegyong Taeso (Huang Di Nei Jing Tai Su) about the constellations in the chapter is correct. 3) The speed of Wigi changes in daytime and nighttime depending on the seasons. 4) When the speed of Wigi increases in daytime, the speed in nighttime decreases, and vice versa. 5) The beginning of daytime in 'Wigi Haeng' is not the time of sunrise but the time of dawn (2.5 Gak before sunrise). The nighttime ends 2.5 Gak after sunset. Conclusions : 1) The chapter 'Wigi Haeng' demonstrates the ancient astronomical point of view on the universe and the movement of Wigi. The speed of Wigi is variable. 2) This chapter does not address the irregularity in the angular distances of the 28 Su. 3) More research is needed on the meaning of daytime and nighttime in 'Wigi Haeng'.

Gwaneumhyeonsanggi is a writing of praise of the incarnated White-robed Gwanseumbosal by Choi Hang which King Sejo witnessed at the top of Damhwajeon during his visit to Sangwonsa Temple. In Gwaneumhyeonsanggi, White-robed Gwaneumhwahyeondo drawn by a painter is attached, which demonstrate the feature of Sangwonsa temple in the early Joseon period. This study aimed to examine the landscape features of Sangwonsa in the early Joseon period by records and picture in Gwaneumhyeonsanggi. As a result, it was determined that the building display, spatial structure, building type and landscape arrangement seemed to be unique compared with other temples. In particular, the treatment of scenic stone(景石) is important in terms of landscape because it complements existing ideas and concepts that the temple landscape was mainly made of water as the main resources. Also the trees around the temple shown in the picture in can be compared with the current state of the data is valuable.
Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the development process and describe the diagnosis methods, theories and treatments of Mongolian traditional medicine and Korean traditional medicine through literature records and prior studies. Methods Literature records and previous studies on traditional medicine of both countries were collected through various sites in Mongolia (Esan, Mongoliajol, Kok, Yumpu, Scribd, Science and Technology Foundation [STF]) and Korea (Koreanstudies Information Service System [KISS], Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information [KISTI], National Digital Science Library [NDSL], Research Information Sharing Service [RISS], Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System [OASIS]). Also the English database was searched through PubMed. In the case of Mongolian traditional medicine, medical books published in Mongolia were mainly referenced and used for research. Results Studying the development process, basic concepts and the system of diagnosis and treatment of the two traditional medicine, several commonalities and differences were revealed. Conclusions This study showed that the scope of diagnosis methods between Mongolian and Korean traditional medicine were slightly different, and that the medical terminology for the diagnosis method had slightly different contents from each other. Although there were many similarities in treatments of Mongolian and Korean traditional medicine, the Chuna therapy is found in Korean traditional medicine only. The basic theories constituting traditional medicine were the same, but the five-element theory used by the two countries differs in the following two factors. Mongolia uses elements of air and space as the theory of five elements, while Korea uses elements of wood and iron.

An exclusive monopoly on public sector information has been faced with dramatic changes. The movement of Government 2.0, which is described as meeting of Web 2.0 technologies and public services, provides a new paradigm for public information services, and spreads rapidly into many western countries. However, due to the absence of domestic Government 2.0 cases, our academic discussion on Government 2.0 ends up in the introduction of oversea cases and in a theoretical diagnosis. In the context, this study focuses on the first two cases of Government 2.0 in South Korea; Gwacheon Parliament's 'Local Parliament 2.0' and Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's 'Seoul Education 2.0' along with theoretical debates on concepts of public sector information and Government 2.0. The case study reveals the role of Freedom of Information Center not only as a think tank, but also a policy coordinator for implementing Government 2.0 movements. As a conclusion, the study presents elements for public sector information services and proposes a planning model of Government 2.0.
