고집광 태양광 모듈용 냉각 장치의 열성능에 대한 수치 해석적 연구 (Numerical Investigation on the Thermal Performance of a Cooling Device for a CPV Module)

  • In the present study, the effects of the heat spreader thickness and the heat sink size on the thermal performance of a cooling device for a concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) module were numerically investigated. Numerical simulation was conducted by using the simulation tool ICEPAK, commercial software based on the finite volume method. Numerical results were validated by comparing the existing experimental data. The thermal performance of a cooling device, which consisted of a heat spreader and a natural convective heat sink, was evaluated with varying the heat spreader thickness and the heat sink size. The geometric configuration of the natural convective heat sink, such as the fin height, the fin spacing, and the fin thickness, was optimized by using the existing correlation. The numerical results showed that the thermal performance of the cooling device increased as the heat spreader thickness or the heat sink size increased. Also, it was found that the spreading thermal resistance plays an important role in the thermal performance of the cooling device which has the localized heat source.

  • CPV system in the desert areas or areas near the equator, as is suitable for high-temperature region. As compared to silicon solar cells, CPV system have a high proportion of a BOS (balance of system). Solar cells because of its low proportion when designing a module technology is applied in a variety of ways. Applied to the CPV system is classified into two kinds of optical technology. One of those using fresnel lens uses refraction of light energy. The other is a mirror reflection of the structure using sprays. Both of these two ways to condense the sun to collect solar cell is a form of light. And goals by using a small solar cell materials is to produce more energy. In this paper, suitable for a domestic environment, with the aim CPV Manufacturing Technology, built on a variety of modular process technology to the development of a prototype performance analysis was carried out. In particular, silicone coated on the glass by the method of implementation of the Fresnel lens SOG(Silicon on glass) by applying the lens to absorb the solar spectrum was broad. In addition to, for the analyze to characteristics of the CPV module, developed CPV module performance and generating characteristics studied. These related technology through research and development of high-performance multi-junction solar cells, modules, development of concentrating solar power systems to facilitate the growth of the market is considered to be.

수직면 일사량을 고려한 초고층 건축물 적용 Unit형 BIPV 설계 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Unit Type BIPV Design Method for Super-Tall Building Concentrating on the Solar Irradiance Incident on the Building Facades)

  • BIPV시스템 분야는 다른 PV 적용 기술 분야에 비해 빠르게 성장하고 있으나 소형 건축물 위주로 적용되었으며, 초고층 건축물과 같이 수직적으로 높은 건축물의 외부환경조건에 대응하기 위한 BIPV의 적용 방안은 현재까지 연구되어지지 않았다. 국내의 경우 선진국에 비해 초고층 건축물에 대한 BIPV시스템 적용기술은 아직 초기 연구단계에 불과하다. 초고층 건축물의 고유의 특징을 고려하여 초고층 건축물 파사드에 입사하는 일사량의 분포가 균일하지 않을 것이라고 예측하고 실측을 진행하였으며, 실측 결과의 분석을 통하여 초고층 건축물에서의 BIPV시스템 최적 설계방안을 제시하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서는 초고층 건축물의 외벽에 입사하는 일사량을 고려한 Unit형 BIPV설계 방안을 제시하였으며, 특히, 측정된 일사량 데이터를 활용하여 초고층 건축물에 적합한 인버터의 선정의 대안을 제시하였다.
