  • In ubiquitous environment the multi-agent system is effective for providing intelligent services. In this paper we introduce a new scheduling service model for improving the communication performance in the multi-agent system. It is achieved by assigning a priority to the message according to the weight of formalized ACL message and the number of messages exchanged between the agents. An experiment reveals that the proposed approach allows smaller processing time per message and turnaround time than the scheduling with the existing JADE platform. Moreover, the proposed scheme allows a scalable messaging system.

  • The strategy that using data collection from Netflix uses for its services is different from traditional human interaction and the communication, and it is represented by the systematic algorithm that rooted from intelligent information system based on the human interaction and communication. These characteristics allowed the study to reflect the influence of 'Asset specificity' which affects the continuous consumption of the media services of Netflix users through economic psychological analysis based on transactional cost economics. The result from the survey on actual Netflix users, three types of specificity (Space specificity, time specificity, relational specificity) reduced perceived searching cost whereas perceived instrumentality has increased, eventually reinforces the commitment to the service. This implies that the service characteristics of Netflix, trying to communicate with the individuals based on intelligent information system are distinct from the existing platform services and it gives the significance of work very effective for user's continuous consumption of the media services.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze and compare the existing smart citizens party systems and develop a prospective model. As a result of conducting this research, it is recommended that the prospective system consists of an social computing, citizen participation module, and an interface module. This result suggests important starting point to develop a resonable and reliable implementation model for smart citizens party platform.

  • Duaring IT industrial trend time, there are many important concept. Cloud computing, Bigdata issue, etc. One of the most important concept is 'Web 2.0' On educational industry, there is not enough up-dated at Web 2.0 concept. It has still One way study model. So apply 'web 2.0' concept on educational platform, and especially e-learning class, we can apply 'collective intelligence' concept.

  • This paper presents a software design and implementation of software-defined radio based IEEE 802.11ac encoder using Texas Instruments TMS320C6670 digital signal processor (DSP) platform. In this paper, the implemented encoder has the capability of generating all the signals consisting of preamble field and data field under different modulation & coding scheme in the IEEE 802.11ac standard. Moreover, the flexibility in choosing different rate, bandwidth, or mode can also be achieved by software reconfiguration using the DSP. As a result, by utilizing the computing power provided by multi-cores as well as the FFT coprocessors in the DSP, the required maximum throughput 78Mbps can be fully reached within 4 ㎲ for each OFDM symbol in the case of 20MHz bandwidth of IEEE 802.11ac.

  • Bioinformatics can beexplained as the science of developing algorithms, applicatiou tools, and computer databases and so on, for the purpose of supporting and enhancing biological research. Bioinformatic information systems (BIS) typically handle large data sets and the amount of the data goes up exponentially. Another impediment to easy extraction and retrieval of genomic data in BIS is the need to access different sites for similar information. Recently. there has been some attempts to integrate bioinformatics data in the World Wide Web (WWW) among the bioinformatics community by the internet computing technology. However, the work to integrate bioinformatics data on a universal platform has some problems because of the lack of standard, terminologies, semantics, and ontologies about bioinformatics. In this paper, an XML-based BIS architecture is proposed as an integrated BIS framework. The XML and related technologies allow the creation of meaningful information tags to exchange data between various databases as a standard format, and to create more simple interfaces. This integrated BIS framework has bioinformatic architectural components which is used in the Corporate Information Factory (CIF) method.

  • This paper presents an efficient motion and disparity prediction method for multi-view video coding based on the high efficient video coding (HEVC) standard. The proposed method exploits inter-view candidates for effective prediction of the motion or disparity vector to be coded. The inter-view candidates include not only the motion vectors of adjacent views, but also global disparities across views. The motion vectors coded earlier in an adjacent view were found to be helpful in predicting the current motion vector to reduce the number of bits used in the motion vector information. In addition, the proposed disparity prediction using the global disparity method was found to be effective for interview predictions. A multi-view version based on HEVC was used to evaluate the proposed algorithm, and the proposed correspondence prediction method was implemented on a multi-view platform based on HEVC. The proposed algorithm yielded a coding gain of approximately 2.9% in a high efficiency configuration random access mode.

  • As a powerful and flexible processor, the Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) can offer a great faculty in solving many high-performance computing applications. Sweep3D, which simulates a single group time-independent discrete ordinates (Sn) neutron transport deterministically on 3D Cartesian geometry space, represents the key part of a real ASCI application. The wavefront process for parallel computation in Sweep3D limits the concurrent threads on the GPU. In this paper, we present multi-dimensional optimization methods for Sweep3D, which can be efficiently implemented on the finegrained parallel architecture of the GPU. Our results show that the overall performance of Sweep3D on the CPU-GPU hybrid platform can be improved up to 4.38 times as compared to the CPU-based implementation.
