  • 비행선에 카메라를 부착하여 영상을 무선으로 대형 화면에 보여주어 행사장의 분위기를 고조시키고 대규모 행사장에서 안전사고를 예방할 수 있도록 ISM 밴드의 불루투스를 이용한 홍보용 비행선 및 영상카메라의 제어 시스템을 실현한다. 본 시스템에서 고려한 사항으로는 경량화 및 밧데리 동작시간의 최대화, 그리고 사용자가 시각적으로 화면을 보면서 비행선을 제어할 수 있도록 임베디드 시스템을 이용한 리눅스 기반의 GUI(Graphic User Interface) 환경을 제공하는 것이다.

  • Importance of alternative energy has been increasing due to environmental issues and lack of fossil fuels. In addition, heating cost that occupies from 30 to $40\%$ of the total production cost in the protected cultivation sector in Korea needs to be reduced for profitability and global competition. But, study on geothermal energy to solve these problems has not been activated for Korean protected cultivation. This study was conducted to develop an optimized geothermal exchange system through fundamental test of heat transfer characteristics in soil such as thermal diffusivity, changes in soil temperature during heating and cooling operations, and restorations of soil temperature after the heater was fumed off, These issues were investigated using computer simulation for different depths. The simulated characteristics were evaluated through controlled tests. Simulated characteristics of heat transfer in the soil at different depths showed a reasonable agreement with the results of the controlled tests. All of computer simulation and controlled tests, soil temperatures changed at 10cm and 20cm distance from pipe. but don't change at more than 30cm distance. It means that distances of heat transfer of the soil ranged from 20 to 30cm a day. Based on these results, the optimum spacing between adjacent heat exchange pipes and the pitch were selected as 50 and 40cm, respectively.

R-L 부하에 대한 교류전류 제어방식 (A.C. current control scheme for R-L load)

  • This paper is concerned with the study of improving the faults of phase control scheme and suggesting a new approach to the control of load circuit with AC source. AC current control can restrict the magnitude of current within the given upper and lower current and make current continuous during every cycle. Also the harmonic contents of current can be greatly reduced using this control scheme. Analog computer and digital computer simulations reveal that the current control scheme is superior to the phase control scheme in controlling the power supply to the load R-L. Experimintal results demonstrate the feasibility and verify the operation of current controlled system.

  • We consider interleaved buck converters using a switching rule based on Winner-Take-All (ab. WTA) nonlinearity. We clarify that this system exhibits various bifurcation phenomena. We also show that the switching phase of each converter is controlled by the WTA. Using a simple test circuit, ripple reduction and typical phenomena are verified in the laboratory.

  • 본 논문에서는 지능형 LED 실내조명을 위한 효율적인 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 지능형 LED 실내조명을 위한 효율적인 제어 시스템은 스케줄 정의에 의한 조명 스타일과 재실 감지에 의한 조명 스타일에 PIR 센서와 조도 센서에 의해 측정되는 주광강도와 같은 요소를 포함시켜 무선 센서 네트워크로 점등제어를 하고 에너지 절감을 할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 또한, 재실감지에 의한 실내조명 점등제어는 PIR 센서를 사용하여 미세 움직임을 감지하고, 창측과 내측의 불필요한 조명 밝기 제어는 조도센서를 이용하여 주광의 수준을 측정하여 제어하였으며, 주광 유입량이 많은 경우 창측 조명은 자동으로 어두워지고, 적으면 조명이 자동으로 밝아지도록 설계하였다. 제안하는 지능형 LED 실내조명을 위한 효율적인 제어 시스템의 효율성 검증 결과, 외부 조명이나 주광이 조금이라도 실내로 유입되면 실내조명의 밝기를 실시간으로 제어하여 에너지 절감 효과를 극대화할 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents conservation of electrical energy in building with harmonics analysis and compensation which occur in electrical system. We use load controlling and management system in order to adjust load factor of system.The maximum demand limiting and controlling are used ,then the system can acquire the prediction and compare it to the maximum demand set point.The electrical signal analysis based on FFT technique. The harmonics are compensated by using harmonic filters.This system consists computer which works as controller, processor , analysis and database unit together with digital power meter in form of multidrop network through serial communication via RS-485.The load control system uses PLC to control load via serial communication RS-485. The A/D converter is used for sampling the electrical signals via parallel port of computer.The harmonic filters are controlled by a computer.The data of measurement such as voltage, current, power, power factor, total harmonic distortion, energy, etc., can be saved as database and analysis. The load factor is adjusted by limiting and controlling maximum demand. The load factor adjustment can reduce the cost of electric consumption and energy generation together with harmonics compensation in order to increase high efficiency of electrical system.

Development and Evaluation of an Oral Controlled Release Delivery System for Melatonin

  • Sugar spheres loaded with melatonin (MT) were coated with $Aquacoat^{\circledR}$ to control the release rate of MT over 8 hours. A zero-order release pattern over 8 hours was obtained with 20% coating on 8-10 mesh beads in USP basket dissolution studies. MT in 20% coated beads was quite stable at room temperature with less than 5% MT degraded during 6 months' storage. Dissolution profiles were also unchanged after 6 months. An oral preparation containing MT-loaded uncoated beads for immediate release and 20% coated beads with $Aquacoat^{\circledR}$ for controlled release over 8 hours was evaluated in six human subjects. When total 0.5 mg MT as low dose (immediate release portion of MT, 0.1 mg) was administered to four subjects, average peak plasma MT concentration was reached at about 600 pg/ml and maintained at about 10 pg/ml over 8 hours. Plasma MT concentration-time profiles were similar in shape to computer-simulated profiles. However, maximal plasma MT concentrations were three times greater compared to computer simulated curve. These results suggest that MT dose, ratio of immediate and controlled release MT, and pharmacokinetic parameters selected are adjusted to mimic endogenous MT concentration-time curve. In another study, 0.2 mg MT having 10% of immediate release portion and 80% controlled release portion produced plasma MT concentration-time curve which is more similar to endogenous profiles. A low bioavailability (<20%) may result from extensive first pass metabolism and remaining amounts of MT from controlled beads. A good correlation between plasma MT concentration and urinary excretion rate of 6-sulphatoxymelatonin (6-STMT), a major metabolite of MT was observed. As plasma MT concentration increased, urinary excretion rate of 6-STMT increased concomitantly. The linear relation between plasma MT and urinary excretion rate of 6-STMT was statistically significant. This result suggests that urinary 6-STMT may be used as an index of circadian rhythms of MT in humans.

  • A grid-connected distributed generation system which consists of engine generator, dc link with multiple energy sources and inverter is proposed. All six of the stator leads of the generator, which is a surface mount permanent magnet machine, are brought out to the terminal of the generator. Three leads are connected to the inverter and the others are connected to the utility grid. In this proposed system the power from the engine-generator and the power from dc link can be controlled simultaneously by only one three-phase power converter. A control algorithm for the system is developed and verified by experiment results.

Java를 이용한 웹 기반 원격 감시제어시스템 개발 (A Development of Web-based Remote monitoring and control system using Java)

  • 본 논문은 Java 기술을 이용하여 TCP/IP 상에서 웹 기반의 원격 감시제어시스템 개발에 대한 예를 제시하였다. Java의 Socket 클래스를 이용한 클라이언트/서버 소켓 프로그램을 구현하였고 이를 레고 블록으로 만든 온실 모델에 적용하여 웹 기반 온실 감시제어시스템을 구축하였다. 구축된 웹 기반 온실 감시제어시스템은 온실의 정보를 클라이언트 프로그램에 잘 전달하여 표시하며 웹 상에서 동작하는 Java Applet 클라이언트에서 보내는 제어 신호를 서버를 통해 온실 모델에 잘 전달하여 동작시키는 것을 볼 수 있었다.
