해외 CS 교육 게이미피케이션 사례 분석 (An Analysis of Global Gamification Cases in CS Education)

  • 교육 게이미피케이션은 컴퓨터 과학(Computer Science, CS)분야에 많이 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 CS 교육 게이미피케이션 선행 연구를 분석하고, 이를 통해 국내 CS 교육의 방향을 제언하는 것이 목적이다. 연구 진행을 위해서 경험적연구 방법을 적용했다. 키워드 검색을 통해 1220개의 선행연구를 수집했고, 그중에서 1차, 2차 추출과정을 통해 55개로 압축했다. 선행 연구 분석 결과 년도별 발표 현황, 적용 교과, 교육 대상, 게이미피케이션 요소, 결과 및 한계점에 대해 해석했다. 추후 연구에서 국내 CS 교육 게이미피케이션 사례를 분석하고, 본 연구와 비교분석할 예정이다. 그리고 국내 CS 교육 게이미피케이션의 발전 방향에 대해서 제언할 것이다.

컴퓨터·정보(공)학 분야 졸업생의 CAC 인증성과 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on computer engineering graduates' perception of CAC(Computing Accreditation Committee) evaluation)

  • There's been few research to study the effects of CAC(Computing Accreditation Committee) evaluation, since start of CAC accreditation 10 years ago. The purpose of this paper is to find what computer engineering graduates perceive the effects of CAC accreditation and to suggest how CAC accreditation process can be improved. The research findings through survey are followings; First, computer engineering graduates' undergraduate education satisfaction is not high enough(3.28). Second, the computer engineering graduates don't recognize CAC accreditation necessary. Third, graduates who work in company chose design courses as the most helpful, while graduates who study in graduate school pursuing further career in master or doctor program chose major subjects. Lastly, graduates from accredited program do not think their completion of accreditation program influence their employment. Strategic approaches to make higher effectiveness of CAC accreditation system are suggested. First, improvement of curriculum and instruction method in CAC accredited program is required to satisfy the needs of students and industry. Second, efforts to inform students of understandings and necessity of accreditation are highly recommended. Third, industrial sector needs to understand CAC accreditation and give graduates from accredited program more incentives. Lastly, government support like Seoul Accord Activation Project should last for a while.

학교 운영을 위한 웹기반 설문 시스템 (A Web-based Survey System for the School Operation)

  • 7차 교육 과정은 학교 운영에 학생, 교사, 학부모와 지역 사회의 요구를 적극 수렴하고 이를 반영할 것을 요구하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 학교 운영을 효율적으로 하기 위한 웹 설문 시스템을 설계하고 구현하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 웹기반 설문 시스템은 관리자(조사자)와 응답자로 구분하여 설계하고 관리자는 인터넷만 연결되면 설문을 관리하고 결과를 확인할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 문항별로 관련된 자료 데이터베이스를 제공하여 별도의 프로그램없이 본 시스템 내에서 실시간으로 설문 작성과 통계처리가 되도록 설계하였다. 본 시스템은 학교의 홈페이지에 한 메뉴로 활용하거나 단독 시스템으로 운영이 가능하여 학교 단위의 설문 조사를 쉽고 빠르게 할 수 있도록 해 준다.

가상 로봇 교육 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Virtual Robot Education System)

  • 본 논문에서는 레고 마인드스톰 NXT 로봇을 이용한 프로그래밍 교육을 위한 가상 로봇 교육 시스템 (VRES; Virtual Robot Education System)을 설계하고 구현한다. 제안된 시스템을 통하여 프로그램 학습자는 소스 코드를 편집, 컴파일, 그리고 로봇에 다운로드하여 자신의 실행 코드를 동작시킨다. 로봇을 관찰하기 위하여 시스템은 웹 카메라를 포함하고 있어 모니터링 서비스를 제공한다. 따라서 학생들은 자신의 프로그램을 다운로드한 로봇의 동작을 자세하게 검증할 수 있으며 필요시 디버깅 할 수 있다. 추가로 간단한 사용자 친화적 프로그래밍 언어와 이에 대한 컴파일러를 설계한다. 이러한 도구를 이용하여 학습자는 자바 언어보다 쉽게 NXT 로봇 프로그램을 생성하여 테스트할 수 있다. 교수자는 시스템에서 제공하는 직접 제어 모드를 이용하여 수업 주제를 위한 로봇의 제어와 관리가 가능하다. 그럼으로. 제안된 시스템은 학생들이 정규 수업 또는 방과 후에 인터넷과 웹브라우저를 사용하여 로봇 프로그래밍을 학습할 수 있도록 지원할 수 있다.

Information Technologies in the Formation of Environmental Consciousness in Future Professionals

  • The global process of transition from industrial to information society, as well as socio-economic changes taking place in Ukraine, require significant changes in many areas of state activity. It is especially connected with the reforms in the sphere of education. Today, national programs provide for the development of education on the basis of new progressive concepts, the introduction of the educational process of new pedagogical technologies and scientific achievements, the creation of a new system of information education, entrance of Ukaine into the transcontinental computer information system. Information technologies are qualitatively changing the key resources of development: this is no longer a space with fixed production, but primarily mobile finance and intelligence. They have a direct impact on the formation of personal growth, professional content and self-organization, emotional and psychological maturity and consciousness, and so on. One of the main factors in ensuring the stability and social education of the country's citizens is the culture of security, the formation and development of which is an urgent problem today. Comprehensive and systematic development of security culture will significantly increase the readiness of the population, the level of environmental, labor and patriotic education, reduce human losses, material damage from emergencies. Ecological education can be carried out more successfully only gradually and in accordance with the socio-psychological periods of one's development: kindergarten - school - college - university. The creation of such a system of environmental education should be enshrined as the basis of state environmental policy as a constitutional norm with the usage of information technology. Graduates of universities, who are the future of our country, after mastering the skills of basic environmental education must have a high level of environmental culture, which is, in turn, part of general human culture, and investigate environmental issues from the standpoint of their profession. It is known that with the help of environmental education the collective intelligence of society is formed, which can predict human activities and processes occurring in nature, and in some way to help with the elimination of crises. It is through environmental education that another system of human values is being formed, which places great emphasis on intangible wealth and solidarity, and great responsibility of humanity for the ecological state of the native country; provides a higher standard of living as a result of sustainable development, through the introduction of information technology in this system. To improve the quality of life, we need better knowledge, which must be implemented through information technology at the international level.

  • 하루가 다르게 발전, 변모해 가는 정보사회에서 컴퓨터소양 및 정보소양 교육을 담당하고 있는 컴퓨터 교육의 역할은 현행 교육체제에서 그 중요성이 점차 커지고 있다. 2001학년도부터 중학교에서 시작되는 제7차 교육과정은 '정보 사회 적응력 함양 교육'을 목표로 지금까지와는 다른 컴퓨터 교육의 체계와 내용을 제시하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 고에서는 제 6, 7차 컴퓨터 교과 중학교 교육과정을 비교, 컴퓨터 교육의 패러다임 변화를 분석하며, 제7차 교육과정에 따른 교과서 교재 개발을 위하여 교재 개발 지침, 내용 전개 및 구성, 다양한 학습방법에 따른 교수-학습의 가능성 검토, 다양한 평가 방법에 의한 학업 성취도 평가를 중심으로 그 가능성을 모색, 제언하고자 한다.

  • The article considers in detail the possibilities and significance of marketing technologies for additional education programs as the most flexible and adaptive component of the educational process. Moreover, additional education programs are the most market-defined. Also at this stage, we have developed the structure of the e-mail message about ongoing additional educational programs in order to promote them, and on its basis, we have prepared an example of a letter for e-mail.informational and educational mailing using techniques to attract the attention of the addressee in order to promote additional educational programs.The content of the letter was also formed for students of the electronic course "Education Marketing", sent out in order to monitor the educational process.

  • The article discusses the use of smart technologies in the training of future specialists. Today, learning using smart technologies is becoming a new educational standard, where information is presented in a logical sequence, computer training systems have powerful functions for the educational process. The functions of smart technologies are highlighted. It is noted that smart technologies are successfully used in the field of education and professional training. The concept of "smart education" is characterized. Smart education is an educational paradigm that underlies a new type of education system. The implementation of the smart education paradigm is aimed at the process of obtaining competencies and competencies for flexible and adapted interaction with the social, economic and technological environment. Smart education should ensure that the benefits of the global information society can be used to meet educational needs and interests. A special place is occupied by computer-based educational multimedia systems that allow you to deepen your knowledge, reduce the duration of training, and increase the number of students per teacher. The main principles of smart education are highlighted. Improving the efficiency of training in a modern higher education institution is impossible without the introduction of smart technologies in the organization of the educational process.

  • 지식정보사회에서 국가 경쟁력의 핵심이 IT에 있지만 학교교육에서 컴퓨터교육을 체계적 체제적으로 실천하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 국가수준 교육과정이 문제로 보이는 이와 같은 현상은 단순히 행정적인 혹은 정책적인 지원의 문제에만 귀결되는 것은 아니다. 즉, 컴퓨터교과의 교육내용에도 많은 문제가 내재해 있다. 컴퓨터교과의 이와 같은 문제는 학교급간의 교육과정 연계에도 적지 않은 문제를 야기 시켰다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 학교급간의 교육과정 연계 실태를 분석하고 향후 교육과정이 어떻게 개정되어야하며, 학교급간 교육과정이 어떤 연계 체제를 취해야 하는지에 대해서 제안하고 있다. 본 연구는 향후 컴퓨터교육이 IT 유창성 교육(컴퓨터 과학교육)을 지향해야하며, 컴퓨터교과의 정체성에 입각한 교육내용의 편성 연계가 필요하다는 결론을 내렸다.

Digital Contents for Learning Computer Science using Unplugged CS

  • This study focused on the design and development of contents using Unplugged CS method to learn computer science knowledge. With the strengthening of software education, all universities students including elementary and junior high school students are demanding knowledge of computer science centered on the computational thinking. We have developed educational contents using unplugged computing method as a way to effectively learn the concept of computer science. First, we analyze the related research of Unplugged CS theory and investigate the educational method accordingly. And we divided the areas of computer science and selected learning concepts in each area. The contents of learning were divided into basic and intermediate classes considering the level of the learner. The subject of learning contents was selected evenly in the area of computer science and it consisted of 16 basic subjects and 16 intermediate subjects based on concepts that are important in each field. In order to confirm the validity of the Unplugged CS learning topic and the development contents for computer science, we conducted expert reviews and content validity tests. As a result of the validity test, the validity of the learning topic and area selection was found to be more than .92 for the CVI value and the validity of the 32 subject learning contents was over .935 in basic level and .925 in intermediate level for the CVI values. Based on the design contents, we developed digital contents for online learning and put them in the system. We expect that this study will contribute to the understanding of computer science for all, including elementary and junior-high school students as well as students at software - oriented universities, and contribute to the spread of software education.
