천공저항시험에 의한 콘크리트 터널라이닝의 역학적 특성 추정 (Estimation of the Mechanical Properties of the Concrete Tunnel Lining by Drilling Resistance Test)

  • 화재 후 터널 구조물의 신속한 복구를 위하여 화재손상 구간을 정확하고 빠르게 파악하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 화재로 인한 라이닝 콘크리트의 역학적 특성 변과를 라이닝의 두께방향으로 연속적으로 측정하기 위한 천공저항시험법을 제안하고, 천공시험으로부터 측정된 천공 변수들로부터 모르타르와 콘크리트의 역학적 특성을 추정하고자 하였다. 비교적 균질한 모르타르에 대하여 일련의 천공저항시험을 실시한 결과, 분당회전수가 1,300rpm, 관입속도가 1.40mm/sec, 그리고 비트직경이 10mm인 경우에 측정된 천공 반력값의 편차가 가장 작게 나타나 최적의 시험조건으로 판별할 수 있었다. 최적 시험조건에서 모르타르에 대해 천공저항시험을 실시한 결과, 천공반력과 모르타트의 압축강도 및 탄성계수 사이의 결정계수가 각각 0.91 및 0.93으로 나타나 양호한 상관관계를 도출할 수 있었다. 또한 콘크리트에 존재하는 골재의 영향을 고려하기 위하여 반력 에너지 개념을 제시하였고 실제 압축강도와의 결정계수는 0.94로서 역시 양호한 상관관계를 도출할 수 있었다. 이상과 같이 천공 비트의 관입과 동시에 연속적으로 재료의 역학적 특성을 추정할 수 있는 천공저항시험의 적용 가능성을 파악할 수 있었다.

사면 보호를 위한 녹생토 재료 특성 검증 (The Verification Of Green Soil Material Characteristics For Slope Protection)

  • 최근 들어 사회 간접시설 확충 및 경제발전 계획에 의하여 전국적으로 도로 확포장공사 및 신도시 건설 등 대규모 공사가 이루어지며 이로 인하여 인위적인 사면 훼손이 급격히 증가되고 있다. 기존의 비탈면녹화공법인 식생 기반재 취부공법은 결합력의 부족이나 건조화, 유기물의 부족 등의 문제점들을 보이고 있다. 본 연구에서는 천연부엽토, 바크퇴비, 코코피트, 질석이 포함되어 사용되고 있는 식생 기반재와 친환경적인 토양첨가제를 활용하여 연구수행을 하였다. 토양첨가제의 혼합비율에 따라 압축강도를 측정하였으며 식생 기반재와 토양첨가제를 혼합하여 흙다짐시험방법을 준용하여 몰드높이, 다짐횟수, 다짐방법(층), 양생 조건 등으로 하여 사면 보호용 녹생토 재료특성에 관한 실험을 진행하였다. 실험결과, 석고계 시멘트를 사용한 토양 첨가제에서 우수한 강도 성능이 나타났으며, 성능 향상제와 pH조절제를 사용함으로써 식생 생육기준에 만족하였다. 녹생토와 토양첨가제의 혼합에 따라 강도가 증가하는 것을 확인 할 수 있었으며, 사면 보호 안정성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

적외선 화상기법을 이용한 시멘트 모르타르 특성의 실험적 평가 (An Experimental Study for Characteristics Evaluation of Cement Mortar Using Infrared Thermography Technique)

  • 최근 들어 적외선을 이용하여 콘크리트 구조물의 결함 또는 공동 등을 평가하려는 비파괴 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있으며, 이는 유지관리기법의 중요한 부분을 이루고 있다. 적외선 화상분석(Infrared Thermography)을 콘크리트 표면에 적용할 경우, 콘크리트의 표면온도는 표면을 구성하는 재질과 열적특성(비열, 열전도율, 열전달율)에 따라 그 응답이 다르게 나타나게 된다. 서로 다른 배합을 가지는 시멘트 모르타르에서는 공극률이 다르게 구성되고, 표면에서 공극률의 차이는 열에 노출된 뒤, 냉각되는 과정에서 열적 거동이 다르게 평가된다. 한편 이러한 공극률은 강도 및 염화물 확산계수와 같은 역학적/내구적 특성에 영향을 주기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 외부에서 열을 가하여 측정하는 능동방식(active type)을 이용하여, 표면의 온도변화를 분석하였다. 물-시멘트비 55%와 65%인 시멘트 모르타르 시편을 제작하였으며, 공극률, 압축강도, 염화물 확산계수 등의 물리적 특성값들이 평가되었다. 이후 동일한 실내조건(온도 $20{\sim}22^{\circ}C$, 습도 55-60%)에서 적외선 화상분석 기법을 적용하였다. 시간의 경과에 따라 공극을 많이 포함하는 시편의 경우, 표면 온도가 상대적으로 증가하였으며, 온도가 일정해지는 시점(임계시점)이 단축되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 특성은 콘크리트와 같이 공극과 골재를 가지고 있는 복합재료의 품질 평가에 적용할 수 있음을 시사한다. 한편 공극률과 실험상수를 고려하여, 공극률에 따라 변화하는 임계시간에 대한 계산식을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 시멘트 모르타르의 공극량의 변화에 따른 물리적 변화와 이에 따른 열특성 변화가 논의될 것이다.

콘크리트의 동결융해 저항성 추정을 위한 표면 거칠기 및 이미지 분석의 적용성 (Freeze-thaw Resistance Estimation of Concrete using Surface Roughness and Image Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 동결융해 작용을 받는 콘크리트의 내구성을 현장에서 평가하기 위한 일환으로 표면 거칠기 값과 이미지 분석을 대상으로 상대동탄성계수와의 관계를 분석하였다. 배합은 물-시멘트비에 따라 40%, 50%, 60% 및 70% 총 4배합으로 수행하였으며 동해를 조기에 발현시키기 위하여 AE제를 사용하지 않았다. 실험은 물-시멘트비에 따라 상대동탄성계수 및 압축강도 등의 기본 물성 시험과 표면 거칠기 측정, 화상 이미지 및 SEM 이미지 분석을 수행하였다. 표면 거칠기 시험 결과 물-시멘트비에 상관없이 전반적으로 싸이클이 증가함에 따라 표면거칠기 값이 증가하는 경향을 보였으며 상대적으로 조밀한 40% 및 50%의 경우 상대동탄성계수가 60% 이하인 시점까지 서서히 증가하는 경향을 보였으나, 60% 및 70%의 경우 파괴 시점에서만 표면 거칠기 값이 증가하였다. 또한, 표면부 화상 이미지 분석에서도 물-시멘트비 40% 및 50%의 경우 동결융해 싸이클이 진행되는 과정에서 표면부터 서서히 열화가 진행되는 과정을 확인할 수 있었으나 60% 및 70%의 경우 표면부의 변화가 미미하다 파괴 시점에서 균열 등의 손상을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, 상대적으로 수밀하지 않은 시험체의 경우 화상 이미지나 표면 거칠기 등의 인자로 동결융해의 열화 정도를 판별하기에는 일부 제한이 있을 것으로 판단되며 상대적으로 수밀한 W/C 40% 및 50%의 경우 표면 거칠기 및 표면부 화상 이미지로 동해의 열화 진행 정도를 판단할 수 있었으며 향후 현장에서 표면 거칠기 및 이미지 분석을 적용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Sulfur Polymer를 사용한 콘크리트 구조물용 내화학성 표면보호재의 성능 평가 (Efficiency Test for Surface Protecting Agents for the Chemical Resistance of Concrete Structures Using Sulfur Polymers)

  • 본 연구에서는 유황을 폴리머화하여 내화학성능이 요구되는 구조물의 콘크리트 표면보호재로 활용할 수 있도록 성능을 검토하였다. 평가 결과, 유황폴리머 표면도포재의 중력식 스프레이가 적절한 것으로 나타났으며, 도포횟수는 왕복 3회 이상 도포했을 때 1MPa 이상의 부착강도 확보가 가능하였다. 표면보호재가 도포될 콘크리트 표면조건은 상온조건 ($20{\sim}30^{\circ}C$) 이상에서 높은 부착강도를 나타내었으며, 온도가 높을수록 부착강도가 증가하였다. 표면보호재의 채움재 혼입량에 따른 강도특성 평가결과, 20~40% 정도 혼입된 채움재는 유황폴리머의 수축을 저감시키는 효과를 나타내어 강도 향상에 기여하였다. 또한, 플라이애시 보다는 규사 혼입시 부착강도가 높았고, 동시 혼입시 가장 우수한 부착강도 특성을 나타내었다. 화학저항성은 플라이애시 및 규사를 각각 20% 대체한 배합에서 부착강도 저하가 최소로 되어 우수한 내화학성을 나타내었다. 염소이온 침투에 대한 성능평가를 수행한 결과, 표면보호재를 도포하지 않은 시험체에 비하여 유황폴리머 표면보호재를 도포한 경우, 29~48% 정도 염소이온침투저항성이 증대되었다. 표면보호재의 도포조건, 압축강도, 부착강도, 화학저항성, 염해저항성 등을 모두 고려하여 볼 때, 본 연구범위에서는 유황폴리머에 채움재로서 규사와 플라이애시를 각각 20%씩 대체하는 것이 적절한 수준인 것으로 판단된다.

두경부암 방사선치료 시 선량 균일도 향상을 위한 Thermoplastic 구강 보상체의 개발 (Development of a Thermoplastic Oral Compensator for Improving Dose Uniformity in Radiation Therapy for Head and Neck Cancer)

  • 두경부암 방사선치료 시 공동 경계면 및 주변 치료 부위의 선량 균일도 향상을 위하여 조직 등가의 thermoplastic 구강 보상체를 개발하였다. Thermoplastic의 유용성 평가를 위해, 기존에 사용해 오던 치과용 인상재료인 paraffin, alginate, 그리고 putty로 제작한 각 구강 보상체의 물성 및 선량 분포 향상도를 비교하였다. 물성 평가에는 강도 평가(압축 실험, 낙하 실험)와 자연변형도(시간에 따른 체적 변화) 평가를 수행하였으며, 개발한 선량 검증용 팬톰에 삽입한 유리선량계와 Gafchromic EBT2 필름을 이용하여 표면선량, 공동 경계면 선량 및 빔 측면도를 측정하여 전달 선량을 평가하였다. 두 달간 각 구강 보상체의 자연변형도 평가하였을 때, alginate는 수분증발로 최대 80% 체적 변화를 보였으나, thermoplastic을 포함한 나머지 조직 등가 물질은 체적 변화가 3% 미만으로 나타났다. 강도 평가 중 5회 반복한 1.5 m 높이의 자유 낙하실험에서 paraffin은 충격에 의하여 파손이 발생되었으나, thermoplastic은 낙하에 의한 파손이 발생되지 않았으며, 압축 강도 실험에서도 paraffin에 비하여 8배 이상의 높은 힘에서도 파손되지 않았다. 유리선량계를 이용한 선량 검증 결과, 1문 조사 시 조직등가[약 80 HU (Hounsfield Unit)]의 thermoplastic은 동일한 처방 선량 전달 시 약 1,000 HU 이상의 값을 나타내는 putty에 비해 4% 낮은 출력계수(monitor unit) 전달로 약 4.9%의 낮은 표면 선량을 전달하였다. 또한 빔 입사 방향을 기준으로 할 때, 구강 통과 후 경계면의 빔 측면도에서 선량 균일도 평가를 위해 측정한 조사영역 편평도는 air, thermoplastic, putty에서 각각 11.41, 3.98, 4.30으로 나타났다. Thermoplastic 구강 보상체는 조직 등가 물질로 기존에 사용해오던 구강 보상체에 비하여 강도가 높고 물질 변형 확률이 적으며, 구강을 포함을 경계면 및 주변 부위에 균일한 선량 분포를 형성할 수 있으므로 균일한 처방 선량 전달 및 피부 선량 감소가 가능하다.

발전부산물을 재활용한 그라우트재의 노후 저수지 보강효과 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reinforcement Effect Analysis of Aging Reservoir using Grout Material recycled Power Plant Byproduct)

  • 우리나라는 식량부족문제를 해결하고, 농업용수의 공급을 목적으로 많은 저수지의 건설이 이루어졌으나, 현재 75.6%에 달하는 저수지가 준공년도로부터 50년 이상 경과되어 노후화가 심각한 상태이다. 이러한 노후 저수지의 경우, 제체 내부에서의 세굴과 침식으로 인한 안정성이 매우 감소한 상태이며, 최근 이상기후로 인한 집중강우가 발생할 경우 노후 저수지가 붕괴되어 많은 재산 및 인명피해로 이어질 수 있다. 이에 따라 노후 저수지를 관리하는 각 기관에서는 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트를 주입재로 사용하여 그라우팅 공법을 적용하고 있다. 그러나 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트의 경우, 시간이 경과함에 따라 열화가 발생하여 누수가 다시 발생할 수 있고, 환경적으로도 천연자원의 소비 및 온실가스의 발생과 같은 문제가 있어 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트를 대체할 수 있는 새로운 재료 및 공법의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 국내 산업기준을 만족하지 못해 재활용에 어려움을 겪고 있는 발전부산물을 활용하여 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트와 유사한 경화반응을 유도할 수 있도록 개발된 고화재를 노후 저수지의 그라우트재로 사용하였다. 이를 위해 실내시험을 통한 기본적인 성능 분석과 현장에서의 시험시공 후, 전기비저항탐사, 표준관입시험, 현장투수시험을 실시하고, 보강효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 발전부산물을 재활용한 그라우트재의 경우 압축강도는 2.9~3.2배, 변형계수는 2.3~3.3배 큰 값을 나타내어 강도적으로 우수하여 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트를 대체하여 사용이 가능한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 현장에서의 표준관입시험 및 투수시험 결과, 제체의 N값은 1~2 상승하고, 투수계수는 8.9~42.5% 수준으로 감소하여 차수 측면에서도 충분한 보강효과를 나타내어 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트의 대체가 가능할 것으로 분석되었다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases.
