자가부식형 상아질접착제와 레진시멘트와의 적합성에 관한 연구 (COMPATIBILITY OF SELF-ETCHING DENTIN ADHESIVES WITH RESIN LUTING CEMENTS)

  • 본 연구는 상아질 접착제와 레진 시멘트의 적합성 여부를 알아보고자 시행하였다. 발거한 제3대구치의 상아질 표면을 노출시킨 후 Tescera ATL 복합레진 시편을 상아질 접착제 [All Bond 2 (Bisco), Clearfil SE Bond (Kuraray), Adper Prompt L-POP (3M), One-Up Bond F (Tokuyama)]와 레진시멘트 [Choice (Bisco), Panavia F (Kuraray), RelyX ARC (3M), Bistite II DC (Tokuyama)]로 접착하고 미세인장 결합강도 및 주사전자 현미경 관찰을 시행한 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. Clearfil SE Bond와 All-Bond 2가 Prompt L-Pop과 One-Up Bond F 보다 높은 미세인장 결합강도를 보였다(p<0.05). 2. Clearfil SE Bond와 All-Bond 2 사용시 1-step 상아질 접착제보다 혼성층이 두껍고 레진 tag가 길었다.

선로 이송 가설공법을 적용한 철도판형교 유도상화 (An experimental construction of railway steel plate girder strengthen adding ballast system by transport equipment)

  • It has been applied using cranes or insertion methods to install heavy structures to strengthen existing railway bridges. These methods are uneconomical because of two reasons. The first one is it is required to construct approach roads for heavy equipment and/or working yard. The second one is the electric lines shall be cutoff during construction. Both require additional construction cost and duration. In this study, new transport equipment was developed which can be applied to heavy structures up to 100 ton. Using this method, the heavy structure can be loaded into the new transport equipment at working yard and transported to the working site. This method can be applied, but not limited to railway bridge or roadbed rehabilitation. It was found that the precious construction can be achieved to install heavy structure using this method. The experimental construction to make non-ballast girder bridge composite with new pc deck slab using this method was carried out for Jewon bridge. The example bridge is in extreme condition because it locates above national road #38 within extreme transition curve and has 10 ‰ slope and skew. The experimental construction results were satisfactory both for safety and construction precision.

  • In the present paper, the impact damage behavior of steel plate reinforced concrete panels exposed to shock impulsive loading and fragment impact loading is investigated. To evaluate the retrofit performance of a steel-strengthened concrete panels, a numerical experiment using a numerical simulation with AUTODYN, an explicit analysis program is introduced because a real explosion experiment requires the vast investment and expense for facilities as well as the deformation mechanisms are too complicated to be reproduced with a conventional closed-form analyses. The model for the analysis is simplified and idealized as a two-dimensional and axisymmetric case controled with geometry, boundary condition and material properties in order to obtain a resonable computation time. As a result of the analysis, panels subject to either shock loading or fragment loading without the steel plate reinforcement experience the perforation with spalled fragments. In addition, the panels reinforced with steel plate can prevent the perforation and provide the good mechanical effect such as the increase of global stiffness and strength through the composite action between the concrete slab and the steel plate.

Influence of special plaster on the out-of-plane behavior of masonry walls

  • The present study aimed at investigating the effect of a special plaster on the out-of-plane behavior of masonry walls. A reference specimen, plastered with conventional plaster, and a specimen plastered with a special plastered were tested under reversed cyclic lateral loading. The specimens were identical in dimensions and material properties. The special plaster contained an additive, which increased the adherence strength of the plaster to the wall. The amount of the additive in the mortar was adjusted based on the preliminary material tests. The influence of the plaster on the wall behavior was evaluated according to the initial cracking load, type of failure, energy absorption capacity (modulus of toughness), and crack pattern of the wall. Despite having limited contribution to the ductility, the special plaster increased the ultimate load capacity of the wall about 25%. The failure mode of the wall with special plaster resembled the plastic failure mechanism of a reinforced concrete slab in the formation of yielding lines along the wall. The deflection at failure and the modulus of toughness of the wall with special plaster were measured to be in order of 60% and 75% of the corresponding values of the reference wall.

  • 최근 내진설계의 발달과 친환경 건설자재에 대한 관심으로 건물의 자중을 줄이기 위한 경량콘크리트에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 증축건물을 중심으로 경량콘크리트를 이용한 설계가 점차 증가하는 추세에 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 철선일체형 데크플레이트와 경량콘크리트를 사용한 바닥구조시스템의 휨내력과 전단내력을 평가하기 위해 하부 강판 플레이트의 설치유무를 변수로 4개의 실험체를 제작하여 구조실험을 수행하였다. 이를 통해 경량콘크리트를 이용한 합성바닥구조의 구조성능은 KCI(2007)의 설계기준을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다.

Effect of bridge lateral deformation on track geometry of high-speed railway

  • This paper presents an analytical model to analyze the mapping relationship between bridge lateral deformation and track geometry of high-speed railway. Based on the rail deformation mechanisms, the deformation of track slab and rail at the locations of fasteners are analyzed. Formulae of rail lateral deformation are derived and validated against a finite element model. Based on the analytical model, a rail deformation extension coefficient is presented, and effects of different lateral deformations on track geometry are evaluated. Parametric studies are conducted to evaluate the effects of the deformation amplitude, fastener stiffness and mortar layer stiffness on the rail deformation. The rail deformation increases with the deformation of the girder, and is dependent on the spacing of the fasteners, the elastic modulus of the rail's material, and the moment of inertia of the rail's section.

Experimental Study on Strengthening Transverse Joints between Precast Concrete Slabs

  • Precast R.C. slabs are being used widely for the construction of bridge structures due to their simplicity in construction processes. However, one of the disadvantages in precast R.C. slabs is the existence of transverse joints between two precast slabs. The transverse joints are structurally fragile and the task of strengthening the joints is difficult one due to their structural discontinuity. The aim of this study was to improve the behavior of transverse joints between precast R.C. slabs by introducing prestress with external cables. Three steel-concrete composite bridge specimens, which were prestressed with the external cables anchored on steel girders, were fabricated in the laboratory. Both pretension and post-tension methods were applied to introduce prestressing on the concrete slab with a straight tendon arrangement. Static tests were conducted at service load and ultimate load test was performed to evaluate punching shear capacity of the transverse joint. In this paper, two prestressing methods were tested and their effects were evaluated with respect to the elastic behavior and ultimate loading capacity of the transverse joints.

  • 비대칭 슬림플로어 합성보(Asymmetric Slimfloor Beam, 이하 ASB)는 비대칭 형강의 일부를 콘크리트 슬래브에 삽입한 합성보로서, 유럽에서 개발되었다. 근래 국내에서도 건축물의 층고저감, 물량감소, 내화 성능 증대 등의 목적으로 ASB의 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실험을 통하여 ASB의 내화성능을 확인하고, 열전달해석을 통하여 내화성능 시간에서의 모멘트 내력(Moment capacity)을 산정하였다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 방화석고보드와 ASB로 구성된 3시간 내화구조를 선정하고, 내화 성능을 검토하였다.

Splitting of reinforced concrete panels under concentrated loads

  • It is well understood that concentrated forces applied in the plane of a beam or panel (such as a wall or slab) lead to splitting forces developing within a disturbed region forming beyond the bearing zone. In a linearly elastic material the length of the disturbed region is approximately equal to the depth of the member. In concrete structures, however, the length of the disturbed region is a function of the orthotropic properties of the concrete-steel composite. In the detailing of steel reinforcement within the disturbed regions two limit states must be satisfied; strength and serviceability (in this case the serviceability requirement being acceptable crack widths). If the design requires large redistribution of stresses, the member may perform poorly at service and/or overload. In this paper the results of a plane stress finite element investigation of concentrated loads on reinforced concrete panels are presented. Two cases are examined (i) panels loaded concentrically, and (ii) panels loaded eccentrically. The numerical investigation suggests that the bursting force distribution is substantially different from that calculated using elastic design methods currently used in some codes of practice. The optimum solution for a uniformly reinforced bursting region was found to be with the reinforcement distributed from approximately 0.2 times the effective depth of the member ($0.2D_e$) to between $1.2D_e$ and $1.6D_e$. Strut and tie models based on the finite element analyses are proposed herein.

EVA와 경질우레탄폼을 이용한 표준바닥구조 벽식-5용 단열완충재 개발 (The Development of Damping Material for Standard Floating Floor Type-5 Using Ethylene Vinyl Acetate co-polymer(EVA) & Urethane Form)

  • The reduction effect of floor impact noise depends on the various factors such as stiffness and thickness of the concrete slab, finishing If ceiling materials and the composition method. Among the rest it is well known that floating floor system is more effective. Standard floating floor(SFF) type-2 consisted of 50mm lightweight aerated concrete(LAC) and 20mm damping material has been widely used. But LAC construction problem on dry damping material occurred and the reduction effect of floor impact noise has bare minimum qualifications. Thus the aim of this study is to develop 40mm composite damping material(Soundzero Plus) for SFF type-5 which substitute LAC and damping material. 'Soundzero Plus' is satisfied with quality requirement for damping material for SFF. The heat transition rate, $0.45W/m^2{\cdot}K$ is more effective 55% about than the regulation. The test results of floor impact noise by using 'Soundzero Plus' are showed good improvement about 12dB (tested by tapping machine) and 4dB (tested by bang machine) between before and after.
