양모/카티온화 면 혼방품의 산성염료/반응성염료에 의한 1욕2단 염색에 관한 연구 (Studies on the One Bath Two Step Dyeing of Wool/Cationized Cotton Blends with Acid Dye/Reactive Dye)

  • The conventional dyeing of wool/cotton blends involves a two bath two step method, i.e., after dyeing of the wool component with acid dyes in an acidic dyebath at $100^\circ{C}$, the dyeing of the cotton component with reactive dyes in an alkaline dyebath is performed. In order to overcome the disadvantage of the conventional two bath two step dyeing method of wool/cotton blends, it had prompted significant effort to the development of the one bath dyeing method which can accomplish savings in time, energy and water usage. To improve dyeing property of wool/cotton blends, cotton component was pretreated with cationizing agent containing chlorohydrine group in aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide. This study was carried out to investigate dyeing possibilities of wool/cationized cotton blends with acid dye/reactive dye by one bath two step method.

  • A new mechanical probe for 3-D feature measurement on coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) is presented. The probe is composed of the contact stylus and the three-component force sensor. With the stylus mounted on the force sensor, the probe can not only measure 3-D features, but also detect contact force acting on the stylus tip. Furthermore, the probing direction and the actual contact position can be determined by the relationship among three components of contact force to be detected. In this paper, transformation matrix representing the relationship between the external force acting on the stylus tip and the output voltages of measurement gauges is derived and calibrated. The prototype of probe is developed and its availability is investigated through the experimental setup for calibration test of the probe. A series of experimental results show that the proposed probe can be an effective means of improving the accuracy of touch probing on CMM.

To improve the dyeability of cotton toward direct dyes in a non-electrolytic and acidic dyebath, cotton component was pretreated with cationizing agent containing chlorohydrine group in aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide. This study was carried out to investigate almost equal color strength between wool component and cationized cotton component when wool/cationized cotton blends was dyed with acid dye/direct dye by the one bath two step method in a non-electrolytic and acidic dyebath.

  • 본 논문에서는 Oh and Berger (1993)의 알고리즘을 확장하여, Oh and Berger의 알고리즘으로 효율적 처리가 어려웠던 복잡한 모양을 가진 다차원 함수의 적분에 보다 더 일반적으로 적용될 수 있는 알고리즘을 제시한다. 예를 들면 다봉함수이면서 동시에 기울어진 모양을 갖는 함수나 모든 극대점들이 다 파악되지 못한 경우 등이다. 제시된 알고리즘은 Oh and Berger의 알고리즘을 단계적으로 수행해 가면서 각 단계마다 새로운 부확률밀도 함수 (component density functin)를 함성 밀도 함수(mixture importance function) 형태인 중요함 수 (importance function에 더해 감으로써 중요함수를 적분 함수에 접근시킨다.

  • To quickly determine the effect of the substitute component on the machine's performance is very important in the design and manufacturing processes. And minimizing machine cost and maximizing machine quality mandate predictability of machine accuracy. In this study, in order to evaluate the effects of the component's geometric errors and dimensions on the machining accuracy of gantry-type 5-axis machining centers, a geometric error analysis and virtual manufacturing system are developed based on the mathematical model for the shape generation motion of machine tool considering the component's geometric errors and dimensions, the solid modeling techniques and so on.

  • A Common-Rail Direct Injection(CRDI) system for high speed diesel engines was developed to meet reductions of noise and vibration, and emission regulations. In this study, CRDI system analysis model which includes fuel and mechanical sub-systems was developed using commercial software, AMESim in order to predict characteristics for various fuel injection components. Each component which constructs system was modeled and verified by sub-model of AMESim obtained characteristics curves of each components. The parameter sensitivity analysis such as throttle size, injection rate, plunger displacement, supply pressure of fuel injection for system design were carried out by the analysis.

Preparation and Properties of Modified PHEMA Hydrogels Containing Thermo-responsive Pluronic Component

  • To modify and strengthen the properties of PHEMA hydrogel, composite hydrogels containing varying amounts of a Pluronic (PEO-PPO-PEO) component were synthesized by bulk polymerization of HEMA in the presence of Pluronic dimethacrylate under mild photo initiating conditions. The effects of the Pluronic component on gel properties were investigated by measuring the degree of swelling with its temperature responsive behavior, the mechanical properties, and the morphology of the composite hydrogels. With increased Pluronic content, the modified PHEMA hydrogels exhibited an increase in the degree of swelling, and the swelling showed an enhanced thermo-responsive behavior that was completely reversible. In addition, improved mechanical strength and the development of a microporous gel morphology were observed in hydrogels containing Pluronic.

  • 복잡한 응용 프로그램을 빠르게 개발하고 이의 유지보수가 용이하도록 하기 위해 재사용 가능한 컴포넌트 기반의 소프트웨언 개발(CBD: Component-Based Development)개념이 확산되고 있고, 이와 관련 되어 컴포넌트 재사용성을 높이기 위한 EJB, COM, CCM 등과 같은 컴포넌트 모델과 이의 개발 및 이미 개발된 컴포넌트를 재사용하고자 하는 연구가 다양하게 진행되고 있다. 컴포넌트를 기반으로 시스템을 효과적으로 구성하기 위해서는 컴포넌트들이 서로 정확하게 결합하여 작동할 수 있는 아키텍쳐를 기반으로 컴포넌트의 조림 작업이 이루어져야 한다. 잘 정의된 아키텍쳐가 존재하면, 시스템이 상위수준에서 어떻게 구성되어 있고, 어떠한 기능을 수행하는지의 방향을 제시해 주므로 조립하는 시스템이 제공하는 서비스를 추상화하여 표현할 수 있다. 본 논문은 제 삼자에 의해 개발된 컴포넌트들의 조림을 통한 시스템 개발을 지원하기 위하여 아키텍쳐 기반의 시스템 설계 방법을 제안하고 이를 지원하는 도구인 COBALT(Component-Based Application DeveLopment Tool) 조립도구의 아키텍쳐 모델러를 소개한다.

An Application of Human-Centered Multimedia System for Medical Implementation

  • Multimedia interpretation describes a high level of ion of multimedia content like interrelations and coherencies. In this paper, we describe a multimedia interpretation component from human-centered perspective. In this context, we see the role of the multimedia interpretation component as a liaison between the psychological apparatuses and computer-based artifact. We emphasize this role of multimedia interpretation by outlining a mapping process of the psychological apparatuses and computer-based artifact. This mapping process needs to be transparent to its user so that effective human-centered systems can be achieved. This transparency will provide an immersive environment for the users and enable uninhibited interaction between the users and the artifact. Furthermore, we illustrate how the multimedia interpretation component can be utilized in the medical diagnosis and treatment support application.

LCD TV의 핵심기술 선정방법에 관한 연구 (The Analysis of LCD TV's Core Technology using by Analytic Hierarchy Process)

  • 본 논문은 LCD TV의 다양한 기술 중 어떤 것을 자체개발 하고, 어떤 것을 외부로부터 조달하여야 할 것인지를 결정할 수 있는 프레임웍을 제공하고, 이를 검정하였다. AHP를 이용하여 분석한 결과, 중요한 기술로는 Scaler chip, LCD panel, MPEG decoder, Video decoder 등의 순으로 나타났으며, 이들 상위 부품들은 삼성전자에서 직접 자체 생산이 이루어지고 있는 중요한 핵심부품으로 밝혀짐에 따라 본 논문의 타당성이 검정되었다고 할 수 있겠다. 본 논문을 통해 기업이 자체 개발해야만 하는 핵심부품을 선정하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
