  • Nowadays for reliable software and cost reduction there are many research works on software development based on component, One of the challenge in designing a component-based system is determining which components are required and where they fit in the overall system architecture. In this paper, we developed three EJB components, the first is for transforming XML DTD to relational database schema, the second is for storing XML document in relational database, and the third is for transforming XML document by retrieving relational database, By assembling these three components, we developed XML Repository system finally.

  • 소프트웨어 부품 라이브러리나 소프트웨어 저장소(Repository)는 소프트웨어 재사용의 중요한 역할을 해왔고, 인터넷과 웹을 통한 그 검색 수요가 증가하고 있을 뿐 아니라. 개발되는 컴포넌트(Component)의 숫자도 급속도로 증가 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 기반 검색 엔진과 에이전트(Agent) 시스템을 결합해서 분산된 컴포넌트 저장소의 컴포넌트 정보를 통합 검색할 수 있는 검색 시스템을 제안한다. 웹 기반 검색을 통한 일반 사용자들의 컴포넌트 검색요구를 충족시키고, 모빌 에이전트(Mobile Agent)의 기능을 이용하여 효율적인 분산 저장소의 정보 검색 시스템의 구조를 구현한다. 또한 모빌 에이전트(Mobile Agent)로 구현된 검색 에이전트의 사용으로, 오프라인(Off-line)상태에서의 검색과 분산 저장소의 병렬 검색을 가능하게 하여 분산 저장소 검색의 성능을 높이고, 기존의 분산된 저장소와 검색 시스템간의 쉬운 결합 구조를 제안한다.

  • The article herein suggested a compound repository and a descriptive method to develop a compound knowledge process. A data target saved in a compound knowledge repository suggested in this article includes all compound knowledge meta data and digital resources, which can be divided into the three following factors according to the purpose: user roles, functional elements, and service ranges. The three factors are basic components to describe abstract models of repository. In this article, meta data of compound knowledge are defined by being classified into the two factors. A component stands for the property about a main agent, activity unit or resource that use and create knowledge, and a context presents the context in which knowledge object are included. An agent of the compound knowledge process performs classification, registration, and pattern information management of composite knowledge, and serves as data flow and processing between compound knowledge repository and user. The agent of the compound knowledge process consists of the following functions: warning to inform data search and extraction, data collection and output for data exchange in an distributed environment, storage and registration for data, request and transmission to call for physical material wanted after search of meta data. In this article, the construction of a compound knowledge repository for recommendation system to be developed can serve a role to enhance learning productivity through real-time visualization of timely knowledge by presenting well-put various contents to users in the field of industry to occur work and learning at the same time.

  • Nowadays XML is used for exchanging information in e-Commerce, especially B2B. Necessity of XML DBMS has being increased to efficiently process XML data. So a lots of database products for supporting XML are rapidly appeared in the market. In this paper, we made an XML DBMS system based on Generic Data Model. First we developed XML Adaptor based on Generic Data Model and added it on relational DBMS for developing XML DBMS. XML Adaptor is composed of Query Convertor and XML Repository System. The Query Convertor parse commands that are for XML data manipulation and then call the relevant component of XML Repository System for relational database operation. The XML Repository System handles relational database operations such as create, delete, store, and etc. In this way we can use a relational DBMS for manipulation XML data. Therefor we can build more economically XML DBMS.

  • EPCIS(EPC Information Service) system is a core component of EPCglobal Architecture Framework offering information of the freights, the time of awareness and the location of awareness on the EPCglobal Network. EPCIS Repository continuously stores and manages mass EPCIS Event input data from a great number of RFID devices simultaneously. The Hybrid DBMS can deal efficiently mass necessary data. This study suggest the plan which can efficiently manage EPCIS Repository using Hybrid DBMS. We offer three schema and stores EPCIS Event data to Altibase DB that can efficiently manage EPCIS Repository using Hybrid DBMS and compare the performance about three schema through simulations.

  • This study proposes method to classify components in repository and retrieve them introducing the idea of domain orientation for successful reuse of components. About components of existing systems design pattern was applied to, us suggest component classification method to compare structural similarity between each component in relevant domain and criterion pattern. Component reusability and portability between platforms can be increased through classifying reusable components by function and giving their structures with diagram. Efficiency of component reuse can be raised because the most appropriate component to query and similar candidate components and provided in priority by use of E-SARM algorithm.

  • 최근 들어 소프트웨어의 대형화, 통합화가 요구되어지면서 소프트웨어 개발방법의 변화가 대두되고 있으며, 그 해결책의 하나로 컴포넌트 소프트웨어가 제시되고 있다. 경험이 많은 개발자에 의해 개발된 컴포넌트는 소프트웨어 재사용이 뛰어나고, 이미 낳은 곳에서 사용중이므로 안정성 및 신뢰성이 인정된다. 이러한 컴포넌트의 개발자와 소비자를 연결하기 위해 웹 환경에서 컴포넌트의 명세 및 컴포넌트 자체를 쉽게 등록 및 검색이 가능하도록 설계하였다. 하나의 컴포넌트의 명세에 따르는 각기 다른 종류의 멀티미디어 컴포넌트 등 다양한 종류의 컴포넌트를 등록, 검색할 수 있으며 다양한 분류법을 지원하는 컴포넌트 저장소이다.

  • 플랫폼 독립형 클래스 저장소(PICR : Platform Independent Class Repository)에 저장되어 있는 컴포넌트를 망관리 시스템의 분삭객체로 아웃소싱하여 사용하는 Farming 방법론을 실제 TMN 에이전트의 구축에 적용하였을 때 나타나는 결과를 ATM과 같은 고속망을 DCN(Data Communication Network)으로 하는 경우에 대하여 성능평가를 하였다.

  • This paper proposes a method to classify and retrieve components in repository using the idea of domain orientation for the successful reuse of components. A design pattern was applied to existing systems and a component classification method is suggested here to compare the structural similarity between each component in relevant domain and criterion patterns. Classifying reusable components by their functionality and then depicting their structures with a diagram can increase component reusability and portability between platforms. Efficiency of component reuse can be raised because the most appropriate component to query and similar candidate components are provided in priority by use of-SARM algorithm.
